Michael's inner mind was constantly in turmoil. The various voices and thoughts which made no sense to the simple young man. His core instincts telling him him to eat, find food, eat, find more food and so forth.  But there was always that clearer voice that guided him against following some of his impulsive thoughts. Keeping him out and away from other's harm.


 It was this voice that had been growing louder and louder. Telling him to consume others. After having eaten the crimson heart, it's involvement had been getting more entangled with the other voices, some of them vanishing while it remained . Things around him had been moving as well as his subconscious mind had been growing a bit stronger as it too grew inside of him.

He had hardly even noticed it but when he stared at things they began to shake slightly. This all just seemed normal to the young man as he didn't understand it much like most things in life, so it was just added to the pile of things that happened.

 But he took note of it fully when he had been attacked by another bat while exploring the cave for potatoes.  His fear of them causing him to panic. A psychic wave of energy ensarned the bat and pinned it to the the wall. There was loud squeaking which caused him the cover his eyes and head. The fear fed his power and in an instant there was a snapping and cracking sound as the bat was smooched into the wall. A few rocks around the bat falling to the ground.

As the sounds stopped he looked around. Slowly forgetting what had caused his fright. He tried recalling but his stomach reminded him of what he was searching for. He must of gotten distracted from digging. That's what he told himself as the bat was left under the rubble
