Fishing and Best friends Parting

[19:14] A familiar tan teen approaches, "Yoo Euyital! What's goin on?"

[19:17] The tall Drakanite was wandering around Huangzhou, primarily around the shops, taking a glance through their wares for something she could possible use. A clawed finger taps gently against her bottom lips, immersed in her own thoughts as Sugarboy approached with a greeting.

Light blue hues swiftly looked in his direction, a single blink and she'd instantly brighten, offering a wave to him. "Hi! Euyitl only look." Smiling with a tilt of her head as she'd gesture to the nearby shops. "Lot to look."

[19:22] He nods, "Yeah, Huang's massive, and has a lot to look through, especially here in the market place." he says stepping a little closer next to her, looking over the shops wares that Drakanite was looking over.

"You looking for anything specific? or just browsing?" He rubs his scruffy chin, wondering what she could be looking for, food? Weapons?

[19:26] "Mh!" Nodding her head as to agree with him, Huang certainly was a huge place. She didn't mind that he'd step closer, if anything, she welcomed it, he was one of her best friends!

Looking back to the shop, she'd scratch her cheek lightly before unsheathing her axe and showing it to Sugarboy. "Hmm. Stronger." While the other hand shifts to pat her belly. "... Food." A nod to confirm that too.

[19:34] Sugarboy's jaw drops when she pulls out the axe, somehow he hadn't noticed it until just then- his sunglasses sink down his nose to further accentuate his shock. For the first time Euyitl can see his ocean blue eyes. His shock immediately turns into excitement as he jumps up with a big smile on his face, "Better?? That thing is dope enough as is!" The boy was seemingly unarmed himself, and didn't quite have an eye for weapons. The closest thing he had was a fishing pole on his back.

"And I got one more leg of pork you can have-" He says reaching into his pack and handing it over to her. "Yo, do you like fish?"

[19:40] She'd chuckle and yet confused to see his reactions, not quite sure what 'dope' meant but it was still amusing. "Dope?" She'd ask, offering a brief glance before returning her gaze to the wares.

That is until her attention was pulled at the mention of pork and fish. Quick to accept and scarf it down, followed by a quick nod of her head. "Euyitl love fish!" Leaping to hug him, thanking him for the pork. "Much thank."

[19:45] The water magi would happily accept the hug, exclaiming the word she just asked him about when she says she likes fish. "Dope? It's like, awesome, cool- like I can say that you are a dope friend, and it'd mean I think you're an awesome friend. Which by the way, you totally are." He says beaming a smile at her with a thumbs up.

[19:53] "Oh." Blinking, even 'cool' or 'awesome' were very vague words she didn't completely understand as both held various meanings. Which one applied to this scenario?

"Dope." Saying the word to herself to remember before smiling. "Sugarboy best friend." Offering a thumbs up to him, but important matters still poked at her thoughts. "Hm, fish?"

[19:58] Sugarboy laughs a little, assuming she was still hungry. "I was fishing before I could walk! As soon as I could hold a rod, they'd put me in a boat and set me adrift" He says holding his hand out, as if he were pushing the boat out to sea. "I don't have any right now, but I could catch you some up real quick- I can do it while you're looking for a new axe, or you can tag along. Up to you, I still need to talk to someone about getting a house."

[20:04] The tall Drakanite would simply leap to hug him from behind and point south. "Euyitl come with." She was taller than him, so she had to lean over a bit in order to hug him.

"Euyitl watch. Then axe." Nodding as she'd follow him to where he fishes.

[20:08] He'd smile, height difference not seeming to be a problem as he'd happily stand on his toes to help facilitate the hug. "Alright- right this way- Ahh I love Huang's beach, all the - Oh I'll just let you see it." He says excitedly, taking her by the hand as he sprints to the beach.

[20:14] His sprint slows to a saunter as they reach the stairs. He'd kick his sandals off and pick them up with his free hand, walking barefoot in the sand.

"This is it! Isn't it beautiful? All the lanterns lit along the beach, mmmmmm I told you this is like, top three favorite places in the world, right?" He says with his big smile that seems to never fade, or atleast as long as she's been around.

Sugarboy would dip his toes in the water as he'd start baiting his hook and casting far out into the ocean. He'd take a seat in the sand and pat the spot next to him for his best friend.

[20:24] She'd follow him to the coastline, watching him take off his shoes and walk to into the water and prepare his fishing rod. Euyitl didn't wear shoes, only clawed toes that were covered with dark blue feathers as she'd travel over the sand and rest at his side.

"Mh, Euyitl like beach. Squishy." She'd say the last words while looking down, wriggling her feet about the sand before looking back up to Sugarboy. "Mhm!" Nodding to confirm that he has told her that the beach was his three favorite places in the world.

She'd simply stand at his side and watch him cast the fishing line out to the water. Her wings subtly sputter to see a few fish jump out of the surface, her belly softly rumbling with hunger.

[20:36] Sugarboy starts to whistle a jaunty tune as he waits for a bite, it doesn't take long before he's reeling in sardine after sardine. He doesn't look particularly thrilled about catching /just/ sardine, but he'll shrug, conjuring a small disc of water over his finger tip, it spins around faster and faster, and he uses it to cut the heads off the sardines, placing the bodies on a large leaf from his pack. He'll use the heads as bait,

"Hopefully this'll catch us something a little more filling- eh Euyitl?" He says looking over to her with a smile, "I hope this isn't too boring for you- normally I'd just sit out here and smoke some dream grass, but my pipe was taken by- OOOH BUDDY WE GOT A FIGHTER!"

He shouts jumping to his feet, the rod bending almost in half as the line darts side to side. "Oho no you don't!" he says fervently reeling in, after a minute of fighting and letting the fish tire itself out, the master fisherman reels in a large tuna. "YOOOO, WE'RE EATIN GOOD TONIGHT FAM!" He says jumping up and down, the tuna above his head.

[20:46] She'd stand by him and watch the fishing action, a little canine pokes out from her lips to see the sardines come in one after the other. She didn't mind if he was catching the same thing over and over again, it was food nonetheless that she could eat!

But as soon as she jumps up, so did she, hopping behind him, excited to see him the same way. "Go! go! go!" Cheering him on and even helping him reel in the fish by simply pulling at his waist, and she was quite strong too. Until the fish would be successfully caught, her wings spanned and beat against the ground, sand being picked up along with wind as she'd hop up and down.

Leaning quite close to sniff the fish, the expression upon her visage was very satisfied as well, fresh fish that was very large!

[20:58] Sugarboy would just be roaring in laughter, "Hahah! I couldn't have caught this bad boy without your help!" He says putting it down on the leaf and turning around back to her. He ducks low, wrapping his arms around her waist as he'd pick her up and spin her around. "Yo- you really are my best friend, Euyitl!" he says genuinely before putting her down, "What do you say we go get some rice and fry this bad boy up?" He had a big grin on his face, he already knew the answer, but he just loved to hear Euyitl speak.

[21:06] Her wings extend and lift in order for his hands to successfully wrap around her waist without bumping into her wings. She'd hug his neck as he'd do so before being placed back down onto the sand. "Mhm! Sugarboy best best friend!"

He wouldn't even finish his sentence before she'd hop on his back again, clinging to him as she'd nod. "Food!"

[21:08] A tan boy and a blue drakanite girl run up the stairs as the boy recognizes one of Huang's officials- he actually remembered her from a couple of months ago when she mediated in a marital dispute he witnessed. "Yoo! You're Officer shu, right?" He says with a smile as he walks up, holding a bag of fish.

[21:08] Shu says, "No I am not Officer Shu."
[21:08] Giara whispers something.
[21:09] Shu whispers: I will head over to speak with her shortly.
[21:09] Giara whispers something.
[21:09] Sugarboy says, "Right right, you're like, way higherup in the ranks- sorry! I didn't mean any disrespect"
[21:10] Shu says, "None is taken."
[21:10] Shu says, "I am Regent Shu, Arbiter of the Qilin Tribunal."
[21:12] A look of shock comes across his face when he heard the title regent and he'd give her a deep bow, "I'll definitely be sure to remember that! I was wondering if you could tell me how I could go about getting a house here? Normally I'd just sleep in a bush but uh, with all the vampires about and my recent stay in the medical bed- I kinda want something more comfortable.. Is that something I can ask you, annnd if not, who could I talk to?"

[21:13] Shu says, "Hmmm, I would have to see if we have any open homes at this time, but our main issue is we do not have the materials to expand."
[21:13] Shu says, "If you look up the posts you can see we do offer some things for homes if you donate."
[21:13] The sandy haired blonde nods, "Thank you! I'll go check it out" he says sprinting off with Euyitl in tow.

[21:18] Euyitl leaned over Sugarboy, wondering what he was looking at.

[21:19] Sugarboy says, "Hmmm... I don't see a post about housing... But we should check the tavern out- right after we look for someone in this building."
[21:19] Sugarboy says, "mmmm nope"
[21:19] Sugarboy asks, "Hahaha, you havin fun?"
[21:19] Euyitl smiles and nods. continuing to run around to get a good look at this place, it was very colorful.

[21:25] Sugarboy is caught off guard, bending backwards a bit before using his blood magic to keep himself standing, he'll grab her legs and steady himself up, "Alright! No luck here, I guess we'll just get some rice and get ta cookin!" he says taking it all in stride, a giggle in his voice.

[21:31] Sugarboy would make a short pitstop at the general market, picking up some rice and wheat before sneaking back to their little stolen home, "Welp- Home sweet sorta home" He says with a playful tone, letting Euyitl down and walking over to the kitchen. "I hope this place isn't taken- I'm growing to like the idea of it being ours."

[21:37] She'd cling onto him despite their heights, her long legs poking out and freely dangling as his hands gripped her thighs. Euyitl didn't consider what other people thought, only that she did enjoy spending time with Sugarboy. He seemed like the only fun one around who enjoyed the same things she did.

Placed down in the house, the pitter patter of her clawed feet as she'd walk around in the dark, the only lights were spilling from the windows due to the lights outside. Her own light blue hues softly glowed and glistened, adjusting to the darkness.

"Big home." She'd say while following Sugarboy into the kitchen, hovering over him and watching the details of his cooking. Her nose twitching every now and then to the smell that'd soon fill the room. Though it would certainly catch her attention, the scent of Sugarboy, leaning closer to his neck with half shut eyes.

"Sugarboy smell nice." Quickly lifting her wrist to his nose as she'd blink with that innocent curiosity expression. "Euyitl smell nice?"

[21:49] Sugarboy would quickly realize that this house was not equipped with the necessities to cook the meal he had planned, he would have to leave again and find somewhere to cook it. But where?

His train of thought was interrupted by the Drakanite sniffing him, it definitely wasn't something he was used to, but he also didn't mind. It was different, but for some reason he kind of enjoyed the peculiarity of the girl. it was really refreshing considering how everyone in Huang was... Not terribly fun.

He'd turn around when she held her wrist up for him to sniff, he'd give a couple short, test sniffs. Then his chest would swell as he inhaled deeply, even through the sunglasses, he had a dumbfound expression plastered across his face. The boy was clearly enchanted by her smell.

His body would go a bit lax as his arms just dangled there, a big grin on his face. For how much the boy had talked before, all he could muster was a dopey, "Yeeaaaahhh"

[22:28] It was a natural man musk accompanied by other subtle scents that made his very unique and memorable. One she wouldn't mind enjoying for a bit longer, even after he took a sniff of her wrist.

"Euyitl happy to hear Sugarboy like Euyitl's scent." Her nose grazing against his neck as her hues were half way open. Though the gesture did trigger something in her mind, flashbacks of the vampire and what he had instilled within her.

A little gulp as a specific thirst washes over, not for food, nor for Sugarboy's company... But for that vampire. Blinking, she'd lean back and look to the door as her arm drops, every sense of her person beckoning her to return to him, for more...

"Euyitl…" Slowly walking to the door, her lips pursing. Tongue gliding against the tip of her canine, eager to pierce through the same skin that belonged to the vampire. Pale cold skin, the deep red of blood that oozed, tantalizingly attractive by scent alone. Even her body yearned to experience the pain accompanied by the taste...

"... Must go."

[22:35] The boy snaps back to reality, almost likehe woke up from a dream. He had a confused, hurt look. Did he say something wrong? He was worried and concerned. He'd open his mouth to say something. Should he ask if he did something wrong, should he just ask her to comeback? His mind was racing much faster than it ever had, but the only thing that left his lips was, "Oh... I'll have the food ready by the time you get back- please be safe.." He'd silently curse his 'go with the flow' nature.

[22:39] If it hadn't been for the extremely addictive blood the vampire had given her, she'd probably had stayed to spend time with Sugarboy.

But this thirst... It was starting to hurt.

Beads of sweat begun to gently roll down the side of her face as she moved closer and closer to the exit. Slightly wincing as it begun to burn deep inside her stomach and throat. "M-Much thank, sugarboy."

Her wings expand as soon as she'd outside, beating against the ground as winds begun to pick her up and soon, she'd quickly move through the same route she used to leave Huang without being seen.
