Step-By-Step Guide on how to AFK
Happy Hour Farming

This is all pretty easy, just follow the steps!
This is a completely separate executable file so it will not run if you already have gmod running, this is more so going to be useful for those of you who go to school/work You can run this executable right when you leave and get 8 Hours+ without putting strain on your pc!, They will not run while you are playing the game!

Step 1: Finding the Executable
The first thing you're going to need to do is find your hl2 Executable. It's fairly easy to locate, Just follow this general file path and you will find it it's one of these:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod
If you have your steam games installed somewhere else, The file path will be slightly different. Say for example I had steam games install to my G:\ Drive it would look like this:

G:\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod
G:\SteamLibrary\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod
The executable your looking for looks like this:

Once you have located this file, You are going to want to right click on it and select Create shortcut, Move that file to your desktop or anywhere you would like, You could even pin it to your taskbar. (I renamed mine to AFK MACHINE)

Step 2: Modifying the Executable
Now that you have found it and created your shortcut, Your going to go ahead and right click the newly made file that I instructed you to make and click properties at the bottom. It will pull up a window that looks like this:

The only thing on here that you're going to concern yourself with is this specific part:

We are going to be editing the Target line, For me without editing it, It looks like this:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\hl2.exe"
What your going to do is you're going to add some things to this line, here is what your going to be adding:

"-64bit -textmode -single_core -nojoy -low -nosound -sw -noshader -nopix -novid -nopreload -nopreloadmodels -multirun +connect rp.superiorservers.co"
Once you are done it will look something like this:

""C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\hl2.exe" -64bit -textmode -single_core -nojoy -low -nosound -sw -noshader -nopix -novid -nopreload -nopreloadmodels -multirun +connect rp.superiorservers.co"
With that completed you are going to press the Apply button and close the box, Your executable is ready to run!

Step 3: Miscellaneous
After you are done AFKING, and you wish to play the game normally you will notice when you launch normal GMOD it's in a smaller window than normal, this can be solved with another simple fix!

First what your going to want to do is open up Steam, go to your steam library and find "Garry's Mod" after doing so you will want to right click it and go down to Properties then you will want to be on the first tab and click on "Launch options" once you open that the box will open up, You want to insert this:

""-noborder -width 1920 -height 1080 -multirun +connect rp.superiorservers.co"
You can modify it with your proper resolution to best fit your needs!

Step 4: Profit
Now all you have to do is launch the executable. It will open up a command prompt and should start rolling through, That should be it! Everything should function correctly and as long as that is up you will be connected to our server :) Unless your internet goes out or it crashed!
