2024 game primers

So everyone else is out here throwing out game ideas, and while I'm currently running a few myself these are ones I'm looking at once I finish the ones I'm running. Note ***these will not be run immediately, instead replacing the games I am currently running on the days listed when I finish those games!***

On the southern island of Takha Nui, matoran have been going missing. The turaga of the island, worried about such disappearances, have grown worried of this, that some dark force has arrived on their island home. Worse, word comes from the North that the great city of Metru Nui borders on civil war, the Ta-Matoran and Po-matoran seeing a growing discord between them. Summoned by the Turaga to investigate this disturbance and embark on a second, secret mission (that will be revealed during the first session of play), you are **Matoran**, either from the island or friends of Matoran on the island.

When the heroic Decepticons defeated the evil Autobots and their tyrannical reign over Cybertron, it was thought the home of the Transformers would emerge a new place of peace and equality. To prevent another war, the planet had gone through a process of reformatting along with its society. They rejected the war-like forms and practices of their ancestors, becoming Predacons (named such as they are the contrary of predators in disposition) and Maximals (named to keep a semblance of power and pride from their Autobot ancestors, whose name came from autocratic robots). However, a furious and power-mad Maximal known as Optimus Primal has gathered together a squad of renegade Maximals including the speed demon Cheator, the black market dealer Rattletrap, mad scientist Cynox, and the wanted criminal Nyx who murdered one of her classmates during her brief time at University who have stolen the Platinum Disk from the Archives on Cybertron. You are a member of the crew of a scientific exploration vessel mean to study life forms throughout the stars called the Waysyde, named as such as this mission is meant to interfere with a planet's natural order as little as possible (and as such it is a stealth ship equipped with only point-defense blasters for taking out meteorites and other space debris), lead by the historian Galavar, a descendant of the heroic Megatron. As the closest ship to the escaping vessel the Axalon, you have been tasked with pursuing them using your ship's powerful trans-warp drive. Daunting as this may be, you are the only hope to stop whatever mad plan Optimus Primal has concocted.
