WWE SMACKDOWN LIVE RESULTS: BRYAN VS. ALI, CHARLOTTE VS. ASUKA

Tonight's SmackDown takes place from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and is the go-home show for TLC.

SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch defends against Charlotte Flair and Asuka in the first-ever women’s tables, ladders, and chairs match on Sunday. Tonight, Flair takes on Asuka in a WrestleMania rematch. In their first match, Flair ended Asuka’s undefeated streak. Lynch is also scheduled to be in attendance for tonight’s rematch.

Ahead of defending the WWE Championship against AJ Styles on Sunday, Daniel Bryan will face 205 Live's Mustafa Ali in a non-title match tonight.

Last week, Samoa Joe interrupted Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton with a public service announcement. He mocked Hardy’s past personal issues and substance abuse problems. Hardy responds to Joe’s public service announcement tonight.

The Bar will defend the SmackDown Tag Team titles against The Usos and New Day at TLC. However, tonight they’ll have a different kind of battle. The Bar take on The Usos in a rap battle, which will be hosted by The New Day. Plus, Mandy Rose goes one-on-one with Naomi.

WWE Champion Daniel Bryan came down to the ring to start SmackDown. He apologized for calling the people sheep last week. He claims that’s offensive to sheep. Sheep don’t ruin the planet like humans. He noted the people take and take especially in Las Vegas. He said the people are more like parasites. The crowd chanted “Daniel Bryan Sucks”. He said the old Daniel Bryan is dead and so is the Yes Movement.

Bryan said the parasites are now attached to a couch in the house that AJ Styles built. He promised to defeat Styles Sunday at TLC. Mustafa Ali heard enough and came out. He tried to introduce himself but Bryan stopped him. He noted he knows who Ali is.

Bryan called Ali the heart of 205 Live and an incredible performer. Bryan noted Ali reminds him of himself. He said the fans don’t deserve to see Bryan vs. Ali. Ali wondered what happened to Bryan. Ali noted he use to look up to him. He said the old Bryan would want a fight. Ali wants a fight.

The fans broke into a “Fight” chant. Bryan asked Ali what kind of car he drives. Ali drives a SUV. Bryan called Ali a small little man. Ali explained he’s got a family but Bryan slapped him. Ali fought back and hit a hurricanrana on Bryan. He followed up with a huge dive to the floor.

WWE Champion Daniel Bryan defeated Mustafa Ali in a non-title match

Bryan was firmly in control and worked over Ali’s leg. Bryan hit the Yes kicks but Ali ducked and scored a near fall. Ali attempted a plancha but Bryan moved. Ali was able to land on his feet but Bryan sent him into the ring post.

During the commercial break, Ali hit the Spanish fly on Bryan. Bryan applied the Yes lock but Ali made the ropes. Bryan caught Ali in the Tree of Woe and hit a running dropkick. He then hit a back suplex but Ali landed on his feet. Ali fired back with hard chops. In an awesome sequence, Ali sent Bryan into the corner but he ran up the turnbuckle into a back flip and landed on his feet. At the same time, Ali ran forward and hit a tornado DDT off the second turnbuckle for a near fall.

Finish came when Ali missed the 054 and Bryan hit Ali’s leg against the ring post. Bryan then locked on the heel hook for the win. After the match, Bryan attacked Ali on the ramp way. Bryan locked on the heel hook again.

The New Day came out in suits to host the 2nd Annual SmackDown Live Rap Battle. Woods said they’re hosting for obvious reasons. The Bar was wearing red Adidas track suits with gold chains. Big E noted The Bar requested the rap battle so they're probably up to shenanigans.

Asuka defeated Charlotte Flair by disqualification

Becky Lynch sat at ringside during the match.

Asuka worked over the leg but Flair fought back. Asuka caught Flair with a vicious German suplex. Flair regained control and attempted a moonsault. Asuka got her knees up and applied the Asuka Lock.

Flair dropped backwards to break the Asuka Lock. Asuka re-applied the hold but Flair made the ropes. They traded shots in the middle of the ring. Asuka gained control and worked over Flair’s arm. She applied a triangle but Flair countered into a powerbomb for a near fall.

WWE SMACKDOWN LIVE RESULTS: DANIEL BRYAN APPEARS ON MIZ TV

Tonight SmackDown takes place in Austin, Texas and continues the build to TLC.

The Miz hosts a special edition of Miz TV. His guest is the WWE Champion Daniel Bryan. This is the first time Bryan has appeared on the show since the promo where he called himself the "new" Daniel Bryan. Bryan will defend his title against AJ Styles at TLC on December 16.

Women’s Champion Becky Lynch defends against Charlotte Flair and Asuka in the first-ever women’s TLC match at the PPV. Lynch and Flair reignited their feud last week after their temporary truce. Asuka was added to the match after winning a battle royal. Tonight, the three come face-to-face-to-face for the official contract signing.

Jeff Hardy celebrated 20 years in WWE last week -- but Samoa Joe interrupted Hardy’s moment. Tonight, Hardy goes one-on-one with Randy Orton.

Also announced for TLC, SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bar defend against The Usos and New Day. Tonight, Cesaro takes on Xavier Woods and Jey Uso in a triple threat match.

Another Lars Sullivan video package aired. Tom Phillips noted Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon are in a bidding war for him.

The Miz was in the ring for Miz TV. He started doing the intro but R Truth and Carmella interrupted. They yelled, “dance break” and started dancing. They then walked to the back. Miz finished his intro and introduced the “new” Daniel Bryan.

Miz noted Bryan looks the same but he isn’t. He eyes are open and he doesn’t listen to the people. He said winning is all the matters. Miz pointed out he was right about doing whatever it takes to win.

Bryan said he came to the realization that he doesn’t care about the people. He let his dreams take over. He said he has no intellectual peers to have real discussions with. Bryan tried quoting Alexander Hamilton but the fans gave him the “What?” treatment. He called them fickle and noted their doing something from 20 years ago.

Bryan pointed out he kicked AJ Styles in the groin for the the title but that was one person. He yelled that the people are destroying the earth. The fans booed. He went on a rant about how they’re destroying the planet and future generations.

Miz said for 8 years Bryan painted Miz the bad guy. Miz saw through Bryan. He asked Bryan again if he’s WWE Champion because he listened to Miz. Bryan said it doesn’t matter. He said the old Daniel Bryan is dead and The Yes Movement is dead. All that matters is he’s the WWE Champion.

AJ Styles ran out but Bryan pushed Miz into Styles. Styles finally got his hands on Bryan but Miz gave Styles the Skull Crushing Finale. Styles goes one-on-one with Miz later tonight.

Randy Orton defeated Jeff Hardy

Orton tried to back suplex Hardy on the announce table but Hardy reversed it. During the commercial break, Orton took over after dropping Hardy across the top rope. He slowed the pace down and applied a chin lock.


AJ Styles defeated The Miz

Before the match, Daniel Bryan was walking back stage. Kayla Braxton thought Bryan left the arena. He said he does everything with purpose. He’s heading to commentary.

Styles was firmly in control until Miz took over with a jaw breaker. On commentary, Byron Saxton asked Bryan what his daughter would think about his actions. Bryan snapped and said he hopes his daughter kicks a thousand guys in the groin and hopes she kicks Saxton in the groin too. Bryan was incredible on commentary.

Miz hit the neckbreaker for a near fall. He charged at Styles but caught a boot to the face. Styles went for the Phenomenal Forearm but Miz nailed him with a boot. Miz went for the Skull Crushing finale but Styles rolled him up for a near fall. Miz fired back with a DDT for a two count.

Styles sent Miz to the floor and hit a forearm. Bryan distracted Styles and Miz jumped him from behind. Miz hit the Skull Crushing finale for a close two count. Bryan tried to interfere but Styles kicked him off. Finish came when Styles made Miz tap to the Calf Crusher.

After the match, Bryan gave Styles a chop block from behind. He rammed Styles leg into the ring post several times. He continued to beat Styles and slammed his head into the announce table. Bryan then locked a heel hook on Styles. Bryan held Styles by the arm and stomped on his head.

Bryan grabbed the belt and made the ring announcer introduce him as the “WWE Champion The New Daniel Bryan.” Bryan got on the mic and called the people fickle. Bryan attacked Styles as he was getting up and locked on the heel hook again to end SmackDown.

Next Week: In a WrestleMania rematch, Charlotte Flair goes one-on-one with Asuka. Plus, The New Days hosts The Bar vs. The Usos in a rap battle.

SmackDown takes place from the Target Center in Minneapolis and features more build to TLC.

Women’s Champion Becky Lynch makes her return to SmackDown tonight. Before Survivor Series, Lynch attacked Ronda Rousey and led the SmackDown women's division in an invasion of Raw. She suffered a concussion at the hands of Nia Jax and was pulled out of her match with Rousey and, in storyline, chose Charlotte Flair to replace her. After the match, Flair snapped and viciously attacked Rousey. Lynch will address the injury and her former best friend's new attitude.

Two weeks ago, Daniel Bryan turned heel and defeated AJ Styles to win the WWE Championship. Last week, Bryan explained his actions and taunted Styles. Tonight, Styles addresses Bryan and his recent underhanded tactics.

Jeff Hardy will celebrate 20 years with WWE and has a special celebration in mind for his anniversary. Plus, SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bar take on The Usos in a non-title match.

WWE SMACKDOWN LIVE RESULTS: MORE SURVIVOR SERIES FALLOUT

Tonight's SmackDown takes place from the Staples Center in Los Angeles and features the fallout from Survivor Series.

For the third year in a row, Raw defeated SmackDown. SmackDown didn’t get a single victory (on the main card) and the night ended with a 6-0 score for Raw. Shane McMahon will appear on Miz TV tonight to address SmackDown's losses.

Daniel Bryan turned heel and defeated AJ Styles for the WWE Championship last week. He then lost to Universal Champion Brock Lesnar in a non-title champion vs. champion match this past Sunday. Tonight, Bryan will explain his actions from last Tuesday and address his hard-fought battle with Lesnar.

Charlotte Flair replaced Becky Lynch against Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey at the pay-per-view. Flair snapped and viciously attacked Rousey. She gave her a brutal beatdown using kendo sticks and a chair. Flair addresses the motivation for the attack tonight.

Plus, The New Day take on The Bar & Big Show in the first Thanksgiving Feast Fight.

Asuka & Naomi defeated Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville

The faces were on fire early but the heels took over during the commercial break. Naomi nailed Deville with an enziguri and made the tag to Asuka. Asuka ran wild on Rose and Deville got knocked off the apron. Rose tried to tag out but Deville wasn’t on the apron.

Deville made a blind tag and almost collided with Rose but didn’t. Asuka went to kick Rose but hit Deville instead. Asuka applied the Asuka Lock on Deville for the win.

A promo aired for the upcoming main roster debut of Lars Sullivan

WWE Champion Daniel Bryan made his way down to the ring. He teased doing the Yes Chant but simply walked to the ring. Tom Philips announced that Bryan vs. AJ Styles is official for TLC.

Bryan spoke about himself in the third person. He said he doesn’t expect the people to understand the explanation. He said it was for you. He said Bryan committed an act of betrayal but not when he defeated Styles. It was three years ago when he gave up on his dreams. He said the difference between Bryan and the people is he doesn’t give up. He talked about his injury and noted it gave him the chance to meditate on his new mantra “fight for your dreams and your dreams fight for you."

Bryan pointed out that it worked and when he returned he received the loudest “Yes” chants. For the people it was just a moment. They weren’t there for the pain or the fights with the family. He had to listen to the therapist tell him to move on. He said the only ones that moved one were the fans. He called them idiots for chanting “AJ Styles”.

He pointed out that the “Yes” chants slowly disappeared and he stopped fighting. He said his dreams took over and his dreams kicked Styles in the balls. His dreams told him he doesn’t need to beat Brock Lesnar. It told him to allow Lesnar to beat the weakness out of him and there would be a new emergence after the match.

He said the old Daniel Bryan the people loved is dead and the Yes Movement is dead. All that’s left is you. The new Daniel Bryan. The WWE Champion. He screamed that you never give up on your dreams. This was a great promo by Bryan.

Randy Orton defeated Rey Mysterio

Mysterio went for a 619 early but Orton avoided. Mysterio hit a seated senton to the floor. Orton fought back and tried to take off Mysterio’s mask. Orton was firmly in control and started ripping at the mask again.

Mysterio fired back and rocked Orton with a dropkick. Mysterio hit a seated senton into the ring and followed up with springboard into a bulldog. Mysterio attempted the 619 but Orton caught him. Mysterio hit the second attempt of the 619 but Orton rolled to the floor.

Mysterio went for the sliding dive into a splash under the bottom rope to the floor but Orton caught him with the RKO in a crazy spot. Orton practically took off Mysterio’s mask and hit a second RKO for the win.

After the match, Orton grabbed a chair and put it around Mysterio’s head. Mysterio’s mask came off as Orton rammed him into the ring post. Orton picked up the mask and held it up like a trophy. Medical personal checked on an injured Mysterio. The fans booed Orton fiercely.

WWE SMACKDOWN LIVE RESULTS: FINAL BUILD TO SURVIVOR SERIES

Tonight's SmackDown takes place from St. Louis and is the go-home show for Survivor Series.

Last night on Raw, SmackDown Woman’s Champion Becky Lynch led the SmackDown women's division in attacking Raw's division. Lynch targeted Ronda Rousey in the invasion, but Lynch was injured and has been pulled from their match at Sunday's pay-per-view.  We'll see how WWE addresses the situation tonight.

Last week Paige introduced the women’s Survivor Series SmackDown team. Charlotte Flair was named for it but didn’t show up. She was part of the invasion last night but hasn’t officially accepted the team captain position.

The men’s SmackDown and Raw teams are finalized. However, there’s been a storyline of dissension among the SmackDown team. Last week, co-captains Daniel Bryan and Miz were fighting when Shane McMahon tried to calm the situation. Bryan was unaware it was McMahon and threw him to the ground. The team will try to get on the same page before Survivor Series.

SmackDown started with a recap of the SmackDown invasion angle from Raw last night. The crowd broke into a loud “Becky” chant. Tom Philips announced Becky Lynch is off Survivor Series. He said that she has a broken face and severe concussion. They showed footage of how the injury occurred when Nia Jax hit Lynch in the face. Lynch is in the building and will appear later.

WWE Champion AJ Styles came down to the ring. He talked about being the workhorse of the WWE. He’s been there day and night. He’s defeated every challenger he faced except for Brock Lesnar. He promised to beat Lesnar when Paul Heyman showed up.

Heyman called Raw the premiere show and the fans booed. Heyman noted there’s nobody Lesnar wants to face more than Styles. Heyman listed the greatest performers in WWE history including Ricky Steamboat, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels and AJ Styles. He said Styles is close to being number 1 but that’s Daniel Bryan. He said they’d never see Lesnar vs. Bryan but Styles isn’t a consolation. He said he’s excited to see Lesnar face the second greatest performer in WWE history, AJ Styles.

Styles knew exactly what Heyman was trying to do. He said he has respect for Bryan but reminded Heyman he made Bryan tap. Last year Styles lost but walked out with his head up. Lesnar limped out. He’s either going to pin Lesnar or make him tap. Sunday’s isn’t about Bryan or Lesnar it’s about Styles.

Daniel Bryan made his way down to the ring. Bryan wasn’t sure why they were even talking about him. He admitted to tapping out in his match with Styles. Before the match Bryan said he respects Styles but he also said he’d punch him in the face. Bryan noted if Styles mentions his name again then Bryan’s going to punch him in the face. Styles said Bryan’s name and they started brawling. Shane McMahon and referees ran out to break them up.

In Paige’s office, Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan had a heated argument. Styles ran in and they had another confrontation. McMahon announced that WWE Champion AJ Styles defends against Daniel Bryan later tonight.

Jeff Hardy defeated Andrade “Cien” Almas (w/Zelina Vega)

Almas had the early advantage but Hardy fought back. Almas and Vega did the tranquillo pose so Hardy kicked Almas. After the commercial break, Hardy was firmly in control. Hardy went up for the whisper in the wind but Almas trapped him in the tree of woe. Almas hit a double foot stomp for a close near fall. He followed up with the double knees in the corner.

Hardy went for the Twist of Fate but Almas countered with a back elbow. Almas attempted the Hammer Lock DDT but Hardy reversed into the Twist of Fate. Hardy hit the Swanton Bomb for the win.

Backstage, The Miz and Paige watched the end of the previous match. Daniel Bryan is officially off of the Survivor Series team. Miz is now the solo captain of the team. Paige told him to find a replacement and he picked Jeff Hardy. Miz then decided Rey Mysterio’s off the team too. Paige said the only way he can take him off the team is if he beats him. Paige made Miz vs. Rey Mysterio official and it’s next.

Daniel Bryan defeated AJ Styles to win the WWE Championship

The commentators reiterated that Paul Heyman caused the tension between Styles and Bryan. Styles backed Bryan in the corner but Bryan fired back. Bryan charged at Styles but got back dropped to the floor. Styles followed up with a plancha. After the commercial break, Bryan rocked Styles with kicks in the corner. Styles regained control by attacking Bryan’s knee. Bryan fought back and worked over Styles arm.

They traded shots in the middle of the ring. Bryan ran up the corner and landed on his injured knee. Styles and Bryan collided in the middle of the ring. Bryan hit the running drop kick in the corner. He followed up with a hurricanrana from the top turnbuckle for a near fall. Bryan went up top but Styles cut him off with a Pelé kick. Bryan slipped out and caught Styles in the tree of woe. He nailed Styles with kicks.

Bryan gave Styles a huge back suplex off the top for a close near fall. Bryan hit the Yes Kicks but Styles ducked and attempted the Styles Clash. Bryan fought out of the move. Styles fought back and went for the springboard 450. Bryan got his knees up and applied the Yes Lock. Styles made the ropes to break the hold.

Bryan went for the Running Knee but Styles hit a drop kick. Styles locked on the Calf Crusher but Bryan countered into the arm bar. Bryan applied the Yes Lock again but Styles broke free. Styles went from the Phenomenal Forearm but Bryan moved and Styles collided with the referee.

Bryan then gave Styles a low blow with the referee down. Bryan had a crazed look on his face. He hit the running knee on Styles to win the WWE Championship. After the match, Bryan snapped and continued to attack Styles. He gave him a vicious beating. Bryan held the championship in his hands and stared at the it.
