- p. 115-6 - Add details to these vague descriptions, which would give the reader a “picture” of the thing.

- During last month’s college tour, I was very impressed with the student lounge at the dorm. The lounge was 10 meters across. It had enough space for many different groups of people to use it at the same time. In the center, there were some very comfortable leather couches where you could sit and talk with your friends. To the left, there was a nice, new pool table with a beautiful light over it. The lounge had a clean, modern kitchen with a lot of food in it. There was a Samsung flat screen TV and a nice study area with tables and cushioned chairs. The student lounge was a place I would like to spend my time if I studied at this college.

- Homework: write a descriptive paragraph about a place you know well (your bedroom, your favorite restaurant, a park in your city, etc). Use a specific space order to describe the location of things (left to right, front to back, etc.), and give details about each of the things in the place.
