Synopsis: A young couple. They are still inexperienced and barely starting their relationship. They feel a bit distant. Because of that, they decide to go camping and watch the landscape together. It's just them, the earth beneath them and the sky above them, with the Sun, as witness

I don't really mind how and when sounds are put. I believe that you, the performer, knows about this much better than me. You have full freedom.
BUT, you have to make a difference between the internal lines and the dialogue. Otherwise, it would be really confusing. There are simple ways to add that effect to the voice.

- (It's been more than ten minutes in silence. She/He must think that I am bored or not interested in her/him. This silence is suffocating me. What am I suppose to do? I am but a loos ...)

[Interrupted]
- Oh? What I'm thinking about? Umm... well...

- (What should I say? In school you are taught to speak correctly, to appreciate the complex literary works, to know the difference between poetry and theater... and yet I cannot do something as simple as answering to a question like that? I'll.. say the first thing that comes to my mind).

- I was thinking about the sky.
- Yeah, the sky...

- (What I was thinking? Such a vague and dull thing to say. She/He is so close and distant in her/his own way, constantly checking my movements and gestures. Any minimal error that I could commit would possibly be identified by her/him).
- (Aaand back to silence once more. We are not that away from each other, I could even reach my hand and feel her/his. Yet, why I feel like there is a huge empty space between us?)

- Is everything alright?
- It is? Good ...

- (Is it... though? I mean, she/he said so. It must be alright, doesn't it? I know that she/he is honest, I have no doubts about that. But is that same honesty the thing that scares me so much).

- Oh? What do I think about the sky?
- Ummm... Have you ever wondered if the sky has feelings for the ground?

- (What? Of all the things I could say, I came up with that?)

- I mean...

- (Oh great now, She/He is looking at me now with wide eyes, probably wondering if I'm a sane person).

- I mean... it's always so far away from the ground, so distant. And whatever happens, they will never have contact. It must be sad to be them.

- (Oh, good job... you made her/him look down).
- (Come on. it's been minutes like this, with this silence in between us).
- (I have to say something, here goes nothing).

- But, some things bond them. For example, when the sky "cries", the earth takes those tears and dries them away, right? Y-Yeah, the rain. It kind of connects them if you think about it. Oh, also, what if clouds are just the sky's thoughts? Yeah like, they may be too Ummm... foggy? For the ground to tell what the sky is thinking about. But, yeah, still visible for something as rigid as the earth. Oh, If you think about it, the rays of sunshine are still sent from the sky to the ground, even on cloudy days. Some of those rays touch the ground. Yeah, It can share some of its happiness... Huh, despite them being so apart from each other, they still have things that can make them interact and kind of understand each other.

- (... Why do I feel like this? She/He has been staring at me for quite the time now. It's... a bit frightening but... I do not longer feel the space that divided us. And I was able to talk a lot, and apparently, she/he has been thinking about it. Did I do well?)

- My head is really in the clouds, isn't it? Oh, no, no pun intended I just...

[Interrupted by a short kiss, short pause]

-Oh... That was... nice.
- You didn't know what to do either? Well, same haha.
- I guess that I was... making an analogy for us.
- Yes. It's not like we were cold to each other. But rather, with a whole empty space in between us that kept us away from each other.
- I always think of you like someone so above me. As someone unreachable, almost... divine. But... me, I am just... me. None special, none that interesting, none that ...

[Interrupted]

- Y-you think that I AM THE SKY?
- At least we can say that there are no more clouds in between us. I have nothing to hide. Do you?
- Good. We are on the same ground. Oh, no I didn't mean it as a pun...
- Haha... I love you so much.
- I was doubting myself and our relationship. But, now, I am entirely sure about this.
- Yeah... after all, if we look at the horizon, the sky and the earth [or ground] ends up together.
