HOW MANY TROLLS SURVIVED?

The troll population prior to the TK virus hitting was 1 trillion trolls spread across the galaxies; that number is now reduced to a mere 10,000 trolls apart from the 20 million on Verdant. This leaves roughly 60 trolls per Earth-sized planet that are immune to the TK virus and survived it.

Survivors will likely be forced to take simplified escape pods from their homes and band together, bouncing from planet to planet until they have a knowledgeable enough crew to attempt to fly heavy-duty spacecraft and settle a planet. This process will take many years--this will further thin out rustbloods, brownbloods and some goldbloods due to the simple fact of their lifespan.
