- **__Herbivore Rules__**
- ```ini
- [ Self Defense ]
- ```
- • Herbivores become *very* defensive when nesting. They may attack or kill other dinosaurs within nametag range of the nest if they do not leave when 3 called.
- • The moment you notice that you're being hunted, you are allowed to stand your ground and fight back. You *do not* have to run if you do not want to. You are more than likely to survive if you break their leg and run away, but that's for you to decide.
- • Herbivores **can** claim blue bushes and be aggressive towards other herbivores wanting to eat said bush. They may attack if the other dinosaur does not leave after being 3 called, but must stop if they retreat or 4 call.
- • Herbivores **DO NOT** like being around bodies/ribs, if there is a corpse move away from it. __Do not corpse guard.__
- • If a carnivore or a non-herd member becomes a threat and are within hitting range, *they are too close*. You must first threat roar and mock hit. If they fail to get the message, you are allowed to injure/break its leg then run away.
- • Herbivores aren't aquatic. Do not sit/rest in water where your body may be difficult to eat if you die. You cannot run or hide in any water if you are actively being hunted.
- • You can not nest in a carnivores territory, or remain right outside the 'territory border', you MUST leave the area altogether to nest.
- • Once there are 4 or more dead bodies in a territory Herbivores become uncomfortable and **must** move out of the territory and can no longer go there to eat or drink.

- ```ini
- [ Herding ]
- ```*Go to #herbivore-profiles for Max Herd size with the same Species. Within a herd, you must have at least ONE MALE AND ONE FEMALE! Tier 1-2 Carnivores are [Velo, Austro, Herra, Utah]*
- • Galli, Dryo, Ava, Pachy, Oro, and Taco can herd with whatever they want, as long as the other species allows it.
- • Trikes and Shants are aggressive towards eachother, and cannot be in a herd together.
- • Shant herds will tolerate Para/Maia herds and Tier 1-2 Carnis, unless currently nesting or being hunted.
- • Trike herds will tolerate Diablo/Ava herds and Tier 1-2 Carnis, unless nesting or being hunted. Although, Trike's may choose not have smaller tiers around and can be aggressive.
- • Ankys, Stegos and Theris will avoid all confrontation between Shants and Trikes.
- • Ankys and Stegos may herd together, but Theris only herd with their own species.
- • Herbivores prefer to avoid conflict over territory/food. If a fight happens, the first to 4 call or has a leg break is the loser and must back down. This should **never** result in a body, if it does the person that died without attempting to back down will be punished.

- ```ini
- [ Herd Defense ]
- ```
- • Same species herd are allowed to protect their herdmates and chase carnivores until they are out of nametag range of the herd. *Remember* that you would rather break their leg and escape than go for the kill.
- • Herbivores may abandon or injure, **but not kill**, another herbivore that is putting their herd at risk (after 3 calling it and attacking the air as a threat beforehand) `I.E. Shant breaks a maia's leg and leaves it to die to the predator.`
- __ __
- ```ini
- [ Nesting ]
- ```
- • When nesting, a male and female of the same species **must be present**. If there is no male or the male leaves or dies before an egg spawns in the nest, the female must destroy her nest and find a male.
- • When a pair or herd of herbivores decides to nest, they must separate or push off any herbivores that are not of their species.
- • Once you have an egg inside the nest, you MUST have your mate close to you when you decide to send a nest invite. If you nest without a mate, you may face a report and your nest will be destroyed.
- • Hatchlings are **not** safe just under their parents. They should find a place to hide, standing under an adult does not protect you from being killed.
- • Female herbivores may adopt hatchling/juvenile herbivores regardless of species. This does not include sub-adults dinosaurs.
