it unlocks many cool features!
- If I were to add these features to the current feature I'm requesting:
- - All bots have a realistic looking generated IP.
- - /sudo is for both chat and command messages. For commands, put the / in front of /sumo... ex. `/sumo /tell Bob I am a real player` sends a command while `/sudo I am a real player` sends a full on chat message in public chat.
- - Bots join/leave for a configurable time. (And this can be toggleable in the config.) This means that bots leave when kicked/banned or when something else causes a real player to leave.
- - Bots can run in a specific path that can be recorded in-game.
- - /control [IGN]: Would teleport you to that NPC/Bot if it physically exists (and if it doesn't then you just turn into the person where you are) and lets you control them. This also works with real players to cover up to staff that it's just a troll command. Every command you execute and chat you send is sent by the person you are disguised as, unless you do /control realexecute [message/command]. If possible, you are also treated like this person by plugins, so if someone were to /tell you something, you would see it. If an admin were to do /gamemode c to the person, their gamemode would change. Doing /control again would put you back in your body and a GUI would pop up with four options: Leave (which makes the fake player leave), Start Loop/Random again (if the player type supports that), or stay still.
- - /control leave [IGN]: Kicks a fake player realistically. Doesn't send any leave phrases.
- - /control join [IGN]: Let's you log in as a random standard player (see bot types below) without needing to configure a name in the config. Ex. Bob isn't in the config, but if I do `/control join Bob`, then I join as bob. If no player name is provided, then a random name is generated for you via the NameMC method. Doesn't send any join phrases!
- - If you leave while controlling and come back, you will join as the person you were controlling. When you leave, the bot leaves and if your player exists while you were controlling, your own body will log out after a configurable time of standing still.
- - Command coverup: For commands that bug out, you can put it in the config, and whenever executes a command with a bot's IGN, it would send the internal error message in minecraft chat. This is used if certain plugins bug out when bot names are put into a command.
- - Free support for errors/issues the plugin has.
- So, there would be three types of bot modes:
- - Standard: Doesn't appear in-game... basically what you have now. When /control'ed, you become the bot where you are. Your body stays where you /control'ed the person.
- - Recorded: Bot appears in game and runs in a specified recorded path recorded in-game by an admin. Loops look natural. When /sudo'ed, the bot stands still to "type", and then the message sends. When /controlled, you are put into the body of the bot wherever they are, similar to the plugin iControlU. Your body then stays where it once was when you did the command.
- - Random: Bot appears in game at a spawnpoint, then moves around naturally exploring the area around it in an x radius (configurable in the config). The bot also interacts with other bots or real players when it is approached. The bot can also go afk sometime, so it doesn't always stay moving. Just like the recorded mode, When /sudo'ed, the bot stands still to "type", and then the message sends. When /controlled, you are put into the body of the bot wherever they are, similar to the plugin iControlU. Your body then stays where it once was when you did the command.
- Then, part of the config would look like this:
- ```join-chance: 60-120 # In this case, every 60-120 seconds a player will join/leave based on percentages seen below.
- phrase-delay: 100 # Delay between when a bot is controlled or sudo'ed to start sending phrases again.
- leave-when-controlling: false # When true, your real player will leave the server realistically. When you uncontrol the person, you will log back in.
- join-leave-spread: 5 # Within 5 seconds of the join-chance being called, all the players will have joined. Ex. let's say Bob, Jim and Youki were joining in this join-chance, and it happened to be 63 seconds. Bob would join at 63 seconds, Jim would join at 65 and Youki would join at 68.
- log-in-delay: 30 # Makes you invisible for x amount of seconds in between uncontrolling and your real player logging in.
- join-phrase-delay: 2 # Amount of seconds between a bot joining and a join phrase being sent
- leave-phrase-delay: 3 # Amount of seconds between a bot sending a leave phrase and the bot leaving
- life-range: 10 # will create a range (by seconds) on how long each bot's life is.
- players:
- - name: "w1nst0n"
- - life: 500 # In 500 second to 510 seconds, the bot will automatically leave from the time it joined (Reason for 10 seconds is due to the life-range option)
- - type: recorded
- - recorded-id: 2 # Whenever a record is made in-game, an ID is generated.
- - phrases: "lol", "gg" # When controlled, the bot doesn't send these phrases. Whenever they send phrases, they realistically stop.
- - join-phrases: "Hey!", "hi", "ew, this server - I didn't mean to join this..." # Sends one of these random messages when the player joins
