She is an odd girl who can change in the matter of seconds, but what never changes is she needs someone and she is overly sarcastic. She is also slick and sneaky. At the age of 10 she snuck out of the orphanage, but the orphanage did not care. She had no missing persons posters about her or anything, but she did not care. From then on she went on a search for a boy who was rumored to be nameless in the orphanage. She heard he was not allowed in the orphanage so she went on a hunt for him, why? No reason. She wanted someone to bond with. Because of her fear of being alone she used her manipulation, acting, and cunning skills to find the boy quickly.

She became friends with Jimin way back when. She snuck out of the orphanage to search for the boy without a name. She finds in rather quickly and asks him to be friends. When Jimin asks who she is, she shrugs and responds with, "Someone like you. Abandoned." Since then they stuck together and Jimin mostly took care of Chaerin and Chaerin used her innocent facade to get them food and other things.

When she meets Lilac in the group she instantly loves her motherly nature. Chaerin feels safe and warm when around Lilac. Lilac had the feeling that made Chaerin know she was always there for Chaerin. They meet because of Project 14, but their rebellious actions could have crossed paths one or two times.

— background in Hartlen:
+ Chaerin mostly lived in the Orphanage. Her parents send her off to the Orphanage when she was 5 for an unknown reason to her. Chaerin thought they just abandoned her, but in reality they were protecting her. Shortly after she was sent to the orphanage and unknown criminal set Chaerin's house on fire while Chaerin's parents were still in the house. Since her arrival at the orphanage she had been nothing but trouble. She kept an innocent facade to the people that could send her away, but to the ones that couldn't she would manipulate and make them do things she wanted to do. She often snuck out the orphanage and trashed the streets. She would cause damage and vandalize almost everything around the orphanage she was in. When she was 8 she began vandalizing the orphanage because she hated the fact she had yet to be adopted. Finally at 10 she left the orphanage and went on a hunt. Her antics never died down and her rebellious actions are still associated with the orphanage.
