  1. Find hidden Backlinks?
  2. Hey, I found some niches, with good Search Volume (30k on Average worldwide), and the sites Ranking are some YT-Videos and Amazon Productpage, Walmart page or Magazines - All high Authority, but when I use linkminer or Majestic, it shows 0-20 Backlinks, which I don't Think would be possible, so I Think they have hidden PBNs or similar...

  14. Any way to find them?
  15. If niche seems good trust me, tons of sites using hidden PBNs.
  16. Anyway to see an Estimate on how many they use or something?
  17. Mostly high authority sites blocked bots like majestic, ahrefs etc., to prevent the backlink strategy from their competitors. Some sites also blocked the source code. Not only PBN they must have more diversified link building tactics to get to that level imo.
  18. Yeah, I know that, thats why I am asking, if there is anyway to still find them?
  19. Bump
  20. there’s a thread here somewhere about someone’s software that hunts for hidden PBNs
  21. That would be @jamie3000 tool which you can find here
  22. try using semrush. it shows most hidden backlink vs ahref and majestic. at least that has been my experience.
  23. I found SEO RIVIEW TOOLS is a pretty good backlink checking tool! You can try it!
  24. Thanks guys, i had a look at Jamie's tool, SEM rush and SEO review tools, and they've found anywhere from 2 to 9 backlinks, which im sure is just the tip of the iceberg (ranking #1 for plasterer + major city (4 mill+)).
  25.
  26. Ill keep trying though.
  27.
  28. Google has a 600-fold increase. Facebook has a 500-fold increase. Apple has a 460-fold increase.
  29.
  30. So in truth, Microsoft is the only one here that hasn’t made much progress (if you can consider a 56-fold increase “not-much-progress”).

  32. Knowledge Graph Algorithm Update Summer 2019 (a.k.a. Budapest)
  33.
  34. It does appear that this update is skewed and gives tech companies too much focus, Google in particular.
  35.
  36. Google appears to be the focal point of its own Knowledge Graph, which means inherent bias.
  37.
  38. If you are connected to Google, your brand will find Google’s Knowledge Graph much easier to navigate.
  39.
  40. Moving forward, an inherent bias will tend to be exaggerated (so attach your brand to Google and piggyback).
  41.
  42. Whatever personal advantage you can grab from this insight, such a bias will pose (as yet unimagined) problems. We’ll see. ??

  44. If That Weren’t Enough – Another Update Just Happened
  45.
  46. The ‘Depth’ of the Knowledge Graph Dropped
  47.
  48. I am calling the average number of results that Google considers relevant to a given query the “depth” (covering entities, ambiguity, and related
  49.
  50. entities).
  51.
  52. It just took a big hit.
  53.
  54. No idea what happened here. Yet. ??

  56. Knowledge Graph Algorithm Update Summer 2019 (a.k.a. Budapest)
  57.
  58. Presence of Knowledge Panels Dropped
  59.
  60. I track the SERPs for all 7,455 brands and 4,069 people using data from Authoritas.
  61.
  62. In October, on the dataset I am tracking, I saw a 20% drop in the number of SERPs contained a knowledge panel.
  63.
  64. Data AccuRanker shared with me for the UK covering a much wider range of queries shows a 13% drop in the presence of knowledge panels mid-October.
  65.
  66. Food for thought there, but definitely something “going on.”
  67.
  68. Are the Two Related?
  69.
  70. It is possible that there is a relationship between this drop in “depth” of the Knowledge Graph and the drop in Knowledge Panels.
  71.
  72. I’ll call this new update the Paris update. And will investigate further.
  73.
  74. For now, I am sooooo buzzed by the Budapest update that this is simply too much to handle.
  75.
  76. P.S.: Naming the updates after the city I was visiting at the time seems like a nice idea.

  87. Big brands are winning at SEO.
  88.
  89. They’ve got:
  90.
  91. A team of experts working on fine-tuning their tech.
  92. A world-class agency planning their next digital PR campaign.
  93. A fund for stationery that rivals your entire year’s marketing budget.
  94. It can feel demoralizing as a marketer with a small SEO budget to hear those stories. Their success can feel completely out of reach.
