Broken Mirror

Styx scowled as he watched M. Jess turn into her cat form and ran away. "No! You're not getting away this time, b!@#$!" He ran out of his hiding place and chased after the evil catgirl in cat form. Styx chased her into the streets, firing bursts of water from his hands at her, not caring whether he managed to hit her or not.

Will however was surprised to see the evil alternate catgirl change into her cat form and that his girlfriend did the same. The hydromancer had almost forgotten Jess could do that. He pushed any further thoughts on that matter out of his mind and chased after the other Jess. Will couldn't help but notice that bursts of water were being shot that didn't come from him.

Kynthia gave a low growl as she saw the evil cat girl turn into a cat and raced after her. The demigoddess used her Moon Slash attack to turn into a blur. She didn't care that everyone else was also trying to get to the cat, nor that the fake Will seemed to be among their numbers. She just wanted to get a the cat herself and show her who she was dealing with!

Kynthia was able to catch up with the cat soon enough and tried to reach at her neck. The demigoddess knew that she couldn't keep this speed up for long and this might be her only chance.

Azumi scowled, watching as her target ran. She didn't find it even close to logical that she could dodge an attack she hadn't seen nor expected, but her sanity being what it was (or rather wasn't), she didn't speak these complaints. She gripped the machete backhanded as she sprinted, shouting in rage. "I'll f***ing kill you!"

She deactivated her shield momentarily, reaching her right hand back into the etherspace and pulling out something else as she kept moving, a sharp turn forcing her to put feet up on the side of a building for a few steps as per her parkour training in order to make sure never to lose momentum or slow down, but going down on the street again soon after.

A UNSC fragmentation grenade, one she could throw past the feline, hopefully causing serious damage due to the non elemental shrapnel and causing blowback regardless to force her to stop running. She primed it... One... two.... She threw it as hard as she could, shouting, and watched it explode not far in front of the target cat. With that, the shield reactivated, and she sprinted at full speed ahead, ignoring all else but her target.

Greg, in very fast pursuit on wings of blue that allowed him to fly faster than the average runner, took a different route. He did not have a handgun. He only had one offensive spell, a defensive one possibly/probably not even having the intended effects unless he could test it in a more controlled setting. What he had would have to do.

"Reckoning!" He was trying to be a kind man, but he had his limits, and she had crossed them in more ways than one, and gone to lengths he had sworn to destroy.

This woman had to die.

The sheer amount of attacks coming at M. Jess did not help how she was feeling. She had to do everything she could to avoid everything, that weird water user that seemed to hate her for some reason was the easiest to dodge. Avoiding Kyn was just running as fast as she could, which left her just barely out of reach of the demigodess. Greg's attack however seemed to almost hit head on. The cat girl was able to keep running but she was visibly hurt. She couldn't keep running like this. Especially with the shrapnel from the grenade. Thankfully her smaller size meant less that could have gotten hit.

Thankfully she wouldn't need to. She spotted a rather narrow alley that she would be able to fit in. The other Interferences wouldn't be able to get through and the time it takes for them to go around would give her time to escape.

Well that plan would have worked if she remembered that Jess could also get through the alley and was still on her tail. This would leave a minute or two with the two Jessica's alone.

Once M. Jess thought she lost the Interferences she returned to normal and downed a Hi-Potion. "Damn it. Guess I am going to have to start all over again. Just stay low for a couple months and then I can start to have some fun again." The cat girl got up and was about to walk off until something hit her right in the face.

"Not on my watch." This universe's Jess said as she cracked her knuckles. Jess was not going to let this other her escape. After what she did she was going to kick her ass.

"You think you can beat me?" M. Jess said as she drew her rapier. The other her didn't have any weapons so it should be fairly easily to win. Well that's what she thought until Jess punched her in the face again, completely getting through her defenses.

Jess would not let up. As M. Jess stumbled back from the first blow, Jess followed up with a hook to the ribs and then a blow to the mirror cat girl's chin that layed her out on the ground. "Heh I knew all those lessons with Pyro would come in handy." Jess said with a small smirk.

M. Jess hissed as she tackled Jess to the ground, both trying to get the superior position over the other.
