/akg/ VGL21 Poll Results

* Reminder that any instances of asterisks are in here because of needing to get past Pastebin's super duper SMART filters and words/names won't be censored elsewhere.

After removing 4 responses (2 didn't answer any verification question, 1 only answered one question, and 1 gave random words as answers), there were a total of 191 responses to the poll that passed verification.

The following players have been CUT due to not receiving enough Keep votes to surpass other options:
 - Evil Woman (we are no longer entranced by evil)
 - doko (Bye.)
 - Pink Dog (▼;ᴥ;▼)
 - Zhang Leakerman (sentenced to death once more)

The following players will be ADDED due to receiving more Add votes than other options:
 - Forever Young and Free (kicked out from the hero party to become a divegrass player)
 - Endpipi (you've made a wise choice, kin)
 - A F*CKING JERBOA (nightmare creature)
 - BLEMISHED (this roster has been blemished)

On the subject of name changes, Lapipi remains Lappland's name with an overwhelming 114 votes, and Rosmontis has had her buffs taken away, being renamed back to Nyo Byuffs with 84 votes. Cutest Cripple remains W and Kal with 54 votes (Shining and Nightingale were second with 37 votes). Stainless's name of Forever Young and Free won with 64 votes, and Blemishine's name of BLEMISHED won with 76 votes.

As per usual, line-up and positioning has changed some amount. Doctor and Amiya once again retain their Gold medals, while Lappland and SilverAsh retain their Silver medals. However, by only 2 votes, the funny demon-infused Russian man was able to come up behind the Polish man and steal his medal, shouting "THIS SILVER MEDAL BELONGS TO URSUS".

 > ZERO SANITY on top as per usual, this time with 7 Remove votes. Donkey got 15 Remove votes. Compared to last time, there are more Remove votes for Doc and less Remove votes for Amiya.
 > This ___ Belongs to Ursus and BLOCK CERO had equal Keep votes, 141. Would've been an issue if Myrtle wasn't always the goalkeeper. On a related note, it was mildly clear that WageGOD was probably going to get overtaken by somebody for the fifth Silver medal spot, but it was a race between Ursus, Chinky Doragons, and The Tyrant. Ursus won out.
 > BLEMISHED and Cutest Cripple were the ones who barely made the cut this time, both tied with 106 Add/Keep votes each. El Banana was the one who just barely missed the roster with only a single Add vote less, 105.
 > La Cucaracha actually got 114 Add votes, more than the 5 lowest players that did make the roster, tying with Red Katana Bro's Keep votes. However, as was stated in the poll, W's reintroduction onto the team as her own player was reliant on Cutest Cripple being cut, and since Cutest Cripple remains on the roster, W remains tethered to Kal'tsit's wheelchair.
 > Evil Woman, doko, and Pink Dog all exited the roster with the same vote ratio, 94 Keep votes vs. 97 Remove votes. Other ties were the aforementioned This ___ Belongs to Ursus and BLOCK CERO (141/50); Platato, KILL THE OCEAN, and C E O B E (130/61); Wakata and Nyo Byuffs (126/65); Red Katana Bro and La Cucaracha (114/77); Forever Young and Free and Endpipi (110/81); the aforementioned BLEMISHED and Cutest Cripple (106/85); Zhang Leakerman and *reeds* (85/106); and Suzuran is Our Light! and GAOOO (58/133).
 > Had they made the roster, the new Evil Woman representative would have been Eblana with 37 votes. The Eblana/Arturia combo had 33 votes, Arturia alone had 26 votes, Ho'olheyak had 22 votes, and Ursula had 4 votes.
 > The most popular new additions were Forever Young and Free and Endpipi, who were tied with 110 Add votes as already stated earlier.
 > The least popular cut player from the roster was Zhang Leakerman with 106 Remove votes. And after he sweeped the 4.5 Anniversary and everything, too... there's no justice in this world.
 > The least popular potential new player was Quesadilla with 169 Don't Add votes. That's not super-interesting. What's more interesting is who was the second least popular potential new player: Where's Ho'olheyak?, with 160 Don't Add votes. Yes, that's less than Elfy Welfy who had 118 Don't Add votes. That is less than Cheeto's 145 Don't Add votes.
 > From the start, the six new players that had the best chance of being added and were the only ones to keep notable positive leads throughout the poll were Eblana, Endspeaker, Dorothy, Stainless, W, and Blemishine. Reed, Pozëmka, Harmonie, and Blaze were all straddling ties and slight positives throughout, but all eventually dipped below the 50% line. Everybody else was pretty much negative-majority the whole time.

Music Updates:
Hey guess what no music changes. Again. Even with the ranked voting, the currently used music dominated the poll the entire duration. After 5 rounds, Stultifer Cantus (you know, Golden Age Will Return Again's actual name) remains the anthem with 111 votes, with Operation Basepoint coming in second and Control's Wishes coming in third. Operation Blade remains the default goalhorn with 130 votes, with Signore dei Lupi (Wlfmster's actual name) coming in second and Wecgas fore tham Cynge, Searu fore tham Ethle coming in third. Finally, Radiant remains the victory anthem with 122 votes, with R.I.P. coming in second and Running in the Dark coming in third. If you want to know how many "1st" votes these each got for perspective, Stultifer Cantus got 83 1st votes, Operation Blade got 90 1st votes, and Radiant got 81 1st votes, way more than any of the other options got. For a game made by a music company, we apparently only really like the three songs, or nobody can come up with good enough alternatives, or there were enough people who just ranked them 1 to 7 from left to right and top to bottom I saw you lazy jerks.

Finally, the verification question answers:
 - The correct answer on who became a burrito was Frostleaf. It was in reference to the second episode of the second season of the anime that came out recently, where Frostleaf was wrapped in a beige blanket that made her look like she was inside of a burrito. 146 people gave the correct answer or a variation of it (Frostleaf, KEE, some Spanish bullsh*t, etc.). 5 people guessed Ceobe, 3 people each guessed Amiya, Suzuran, or Shining (get it, cause quesadilla), and 2 people each guessed Red, Jessica, or Blaze. 7 people guessed random other operators and 10 people didn't know or gave sh*tpost answers. Shout-out to the guy who called Suzuran our intestinal blight and the guy who insisted that burritos are not real.
 - I'm sure you won't be shocked, but the majority of people (68 of them) said that Ulpianus's class was going to be Flinger. 36 people gave a very wide variety of multiclass options and 18 gave random single class ideas. 17 said he'd be a Chain Medic, 14 said Chain Flinger, 11 said Crusher, 5 said Boomerang Sniper (and were all after the stream ended), 3 said Hunter, and 2 said Reaper. 15 gave sh*tpost answers like "Not a Flinger", "Whatever will make /akg/ angry", "Fish", and "Garbage". Shout-out to the guy who said he'd be a Flinger but have an alt for every single subclass, which he then listed in their entirety, separated only by forward slashes.
 - As for who runs /akg/, it was a very tight race, but the ultimate master of /akg/, the true puppet master orchestrating everything behind the scenes is... me. Yes, me. 28 people said Me. Just behind me were 27 LappGODs insisting they still run this sh*t, 23 kyotpyosters, 20 members of the Banana Council, 9 various coalitions and alliances, 6 kinposters, 5 lupoCHADs, 5 C!'s, 4 blemiposters, 4 elflovers, 4 Amiyas, 3 Tarans, 3 hagposters, 3 evil women, 3 Sark*z, 3 Lowlights, 2 birdf*ckers, 2 vulpoCHADs, 2 John Arknights, 2 schizos, and 2 discordsh*tters. 28 people gave their own random individual answers, such as Mama Johns, URSUS, our greatest ally in Kjerag, and ho'olposters. Shout-out to the guy who apparently was at the beach and saw Irene yelling "help shark help". He then proceeded to laugh because he "knew the shark wasn't going to help her".

I've also handed them your ideas from the suggestion box for things like model updates and stuff, and they're usually reading the threads and responding to any questions or suggestions as well, so if you come up with anything else that might be neat, post at them.
