- I never said that we couldn't use it. However, here's the problem with using just a bracket tournament. If there's a table of 128, that's a total of 7 matches to the end. A regular tourney has a max of 32, which is 5 matches to the end. The difference is only two matches, hardly enough for a tournament as big as this imo.

- Sending him just a full void in a set would be way better. And it costs much less.
- Haven't really looked at everything regarding prizes, I'll look at it when I'm more focused, but I agree with sir's point in general.
- Edit:
- @Bloob and Kristis133: This is a Nabi sponsored event, rather than a GM event (even though the GMs are hosting it). That's one of the reasons why I wouldn't use the mods from the pack. Also, the pack was only released recently, so not everyone would have the mods (of course, we could say that the pack is required in order to participate). Kristis133 is partially right in that this is a tournament that requires mods of skill, not as much luck (aka jousting, anything with swords, etc). HOWEVER, like skul said, we should branch out and find new mods that aren't the typical aikido/wushu/taekkyon/lenshu variation.
- Question of the week: If today is yesterday and tomorrow is yesterday, then what is yesterday?
- PM me your answer, and you may or may not receive a prize depending on your answer.

- Then what the mods do we use? I don't think that we shouldn't use the typical mods. People are really good in Aikido, Wushu, so on... I just think that we should throw in unconventional mods into it. As I see it, any mod with no instagib, swords, object(s) that wipes out the players, very low DM should be fine. But these mods should be somewhat well known and the problem is that I can't think of any.

- IN REGARDS TO PROMOTION:
- There shall be a promotion video like the one we had for Dance Month last year. Kyou agreed to make the video. That being said, PM your multiplayer replays to Kyou. Keep in mind that the video will only be about 1 minute long (maybe longer if inspiration allows), so don't send him 1241259 replays. 2-3 per person should be fine.

- Hm, how about putting the typical mods in the first rounds (where there'll be no GMs supervising the duels), and new ones in the last 3 rounds?
- Or we could replace typical ones with less known (i.e. valetudofixed instead of aikido or something like that)

- I still think that only standart mods should be used.
- People are really good in Aikido, Wushu, so on...
- The point of this event is to find out who's is the best player in toribash...Why would we use mods that most of the players never played before? It's just stupid and makes no sense. We should choose mods that requires skill and are popular around imo.

- The player who's really the best should be able to play in any mod, not just in aikido, wushu, taekkyon and judo.
- Anyway, i don't think that these "new mods" must be really new ones. There are lots of old nice mods people never play.

- I wasn't talking only about aikido wushu taekkyon and judo...There are plenty of other mods that requires skill like Ninjutsu, Lenshu without grab. I just don't want it to be random shit

- K, if we used the single elimination with 128 or 256 players, that would be 7-8 rounds. So that's 7 or 8 mods.
- Aikido(bd), judo(frac), wushu (brushu, wushu_pro, whatever), taekkyon, ninjutsu, lenshu. That's 6.
- I just don't want it to be random shit
- Sounds like we're all random faggots here, having no capacity to find out which mod is skilled and which is not. Of course no one will create instagib jousting with swords and put it in the final :s

- That wasn't directed at any of you. I've just stated my opinion. Let's say valetudofixed.tbm sounds pretty random to me though I never played it.
- About the 7th mod. Rk-Mma.tbm looks very similar to Lenshu, what's the difference between those two mods? Enlighten me please.

- There's a smaller dojo in rk-mma, -20 gravity (or -25, i don't actually remember :s), 40 tf and no grabs. Guess that's all.
- But I don't think that it could suit WC2011.
- About valetudo: it's actually aikido with bigger engagedistance and dqtimeout. And it's not random at all, because I remember the russian league in that mod and everything was great.
