- Structured PvP skill split
- General:
- Added Rune of the Scourge to PvP.
- Rune of Surging: The Shocking Aura applied by this rune has been reduced from 5 seconds to 4 seconds.
- Confusion: This condition has been reworked. Confusion now only damages upon skill activation if a skill does not cleanse, transfer or convert conditions.
- The formula for condition damage upon skill activation has been modified to: (0.06 * Condition Damage) + 45.5 damage per stack.
- Elementalist:
- In order to change the playstyle of Weaver in PvP, we have made some adjustments to both its offensive and defensive aspects.
- Sword damage has been increased, and more synergy has been introduced from striking enemies with a particular condition.
- Cauterizing Strike: This skill now has 2 pulses, at the start and end of the animation. Both pulses inflict 1 stack of burning and vulnerability.
- Searing Slash: This skill now does 25% more damage against burning foes.
- Polaric Leap: The daze inflicted by this skill has been increased from 0.25 seconds to 0.75 seconds.
- Charged Strike: This skill now does 25% more damage.
- Polaric Slash: This skill now does 30% more damage.
- Crystal Slash: This skill now does 22% more damage.
- Earthen Vortex: The evade time window from of skill has been reduced from 1 second to 0.75 seconds. This skill now does 33% more damage against bleeding foes.
- Crystal Sunder: The bleeding stacks applied by this skill have been increased from 1 to 2.
- Tailored Victory: This skill now does 100% more damage, and applies 15 stacks of vulnerability to all foes within a 360 radius.
- Natural Frenzy: This skill now does 40% more damage.
- Riptide: The evade frame has been decreased from 1.75 seconds to 1.25 seconds. The regeneration applied has been reduced from 5.5 seconds to 5 seconds.
- Aqua Siphon: This skill now does 35% more damage to chilled foes.
- Twin Strike: The chill inflicted by this skill has been increased from 3 seconds to 4 seconds.
- Unravel: Count recharge reduced from 25 seconds to 20 seconds.
- Twist of Fate: The evade frame has been decreased from 1 second to 0.75 seconds.
- Traits
- Aquatic Benevolence: Healing from this skill decreased from 15% to 10%.
- Lesser Arcane Shield: Cooldown reduced from 60 seconds to 55 seconds.
- Superior Elements: The critical chance for hitting weakened enemies has been increased from 15% to 20%.
- Weaver's Prowess: The increased condition damage and duration from this trait are now both 15%. Gain 2 stacks of might for 3 seconds after attuning to a different element.
- Engineer:
- For this update, we have improved utility skills specific to Holosmith and made some small changes to skills within Photon Forge.
- Skills
- Laser Disk: Each pulse now applies 3 seconds of bleeding instead of 2. Damage increased by 12%.
- Holo Leap: Increased cooldown on this trait from 2 seconds to 4 seconds. The swiftness given by this skill has increased from 3 seconds to 4 seconds.
- Photon Wall: Duration increased from 2 seconds to 5 seconds. This skill now breaks stun.
- Jump Shot: Decreased land damage by 14%.
- Holographic Shockwave: Damage increased by 10%.
- Coolant Blast: The healing from cooling vapor has increased by 24%.
- Flash Cutter: Decreased damage by 14%.
- Static Shock: The stun applied from this skill now lasts 2 seconds.
- Magnetic Inversion: The pushback applied by this skill has been increased to 450 from 300.
- Radiant Arc: This skill now applies 5 stacks of vulnerability for 5 seconds.
- Traits
- Minesweeper: The number of mines dropped from this trait have been decreased from 3 to 2.
- Crystal Configuration: Zephyr: This trait now removes a damaging condition, as well as movement-impairing conditions.
- Optimized Activation: This trait now also applies quickness for 2 seconds to yourself and all allies within a radius of 240.
- Vent Exhaust: Decreased damage by 30%.
- Iron Blooded: Increased the damage reduction for each boon from 2% to 3%.
- Traits
- Revenant:
- We have reworked many aspects of Renegade, to improve its usability and survivability.
- Skills
- Breakrazor's Bastion: Reduced the cooldown of this skill from 30 to 20 seconds. This skill now grants 1 stack of might per pulse to you and nearby allies. The initial heal has been increased by 35%.
- Icerazor's Ire: This skill is now a stun break.
- Shattershot: The bleeding dealt by this skill has been increased from 1 to 3.
- Spiritcrush: The fire field from this skill now lasts 5 seconds.
- Citadel Bombardment: Base damage for this skill has been increased by 60%
- Soulcleave's Summit: Life Siphon Healing has been increased to match Life Siphon Damage.
- Scorchrazor: This skill now inflicts 4 stacks of burning.
- Shackling Wave: Vulnerability applied by this skill reduced from 8 stacks to 5. The amount of extra strikes has been reduced from 5 to 4, and the damage has been scaled accordingly.
- Traits
- Wrought-Iron Will: The duration of regeneration and retaliation applied from this skill have have been increased from 2 to 3 seconds. This skill now also applies 3 seconds of protection.
- Vindication: Kalla's Fervor now heals you a small amount each time it is gained.
- All For One: This trait also now heals allies for a moderate amount.

- Balance patch notes split into 3 forum posts, mostly due to the extensive changes to Scourge, Firebrand, Soulbeast as well as the Mesmer phantasm overhaul.
- Logs for Necromancer, Warrior, Ranger, Thief, Guardian and Mesmer detailed in the upcoming 2 files.
