Encounter in Marshlands

Sophia sat with her head lowered, staring at the barelly lit campfire, thinking of the recent events that took place as well as emotions that kept running rampart within her, her envy fighting affection towards few people, leaving her confused, unable to decide whatto do.

In attempt to clam her mind she snook out of the Brighthold and ventured out into the Trystle Caverns and Deadland Marshlands to gather more samples of local minerals, flora and possibly fauna. Wanting to decide what was worth taking back with her for further experiemntation over blood itself.

To avoid most of the dangers she used her left eye as a guide, training it in the process and extending the general time of it being capable of remaining active before needing a rest from the overall usage. She began to make progress with the eye itself once more, desiring to master it and use in the future, knowing how vital it became in her daily life.

The boys walk was proving to be a waste of time, it wasn't clearing his head at all. He was simply thinking about his problems even more. <"Ugh, why did she have to be so selfish! Why couldn't she just control her emotions like everyone else... now she's breaking the family apart slowly and is probably going through a lot of pain while im doing nothing to help."> the boy thought to himself before finally letting out a scream.

"UGHH! WHY AM I SO WEAK!!!"

He couldn't hold it in any longer and finally just let it out. His emotional barrier has been slowly breaking away these past few months, so much so that he's actually broken a table in a fit of rage, which was extremely unheard of for the calm child. "...This is stupid... I just want everyone to be safe... and happy... is that so much to ask for?" The boy would then fall silent as before. His facemask covering his mouth and nose as his headband covers his forehead. The boys eyes was half closed and his ponytail just danced in the wind.

<"She'll come back... I know she will... but I also know she won't come back as the same person...">

The child was young but also smart, he knew how to read a situation out before it happened, but this? No one could have possibly seen it coming. Now as the bridge came to an end the boy would notice a mysterious figure, it couldn't be any taller than him, and it looked human. Although there was something extremely off... was that... blood floating around the figure? Kaiza knew he should have just turned back, but his young mind was just too curious. So instead of leaving, he got as close as he could, and watched. He simply stood in the distance behind a few bushes... a poorly planned hiding spot, but there was really nowhere else to hide.

The Ryozo sat with her eyes locked at the fire for a longer moment, at least until she heard someone approaching, resulting with her head turning rapidly towards the source with her hand moving a little just as she stared at the preson that tried to hide, though not managing thanks to her left eye, which appeared to be emitting a faint crimson glow, staring at Katai with him appearing as an outline with bluish flame within it.

She sighed loudly and shook her head before speaking with cold, stern yet oddly child sounding voice.  "Come out, I can see you...who are you and what do you want, come on if you will do it now I won't get up to drag you out..." she said before adding more firewood into the campfire.

The boy's eyebrow twitched just before the figure spoke, It was... a girl? Well, this was strange indeed, she also sounded like a child, but she was slightly taller than him. The confused look on his face would be hidden by his facemask as he moved out from behind the bushes, walking as slowly as possible. "I uh... you... Who... what?" Kaiza was confused, to say the least, he had only heard about blood magic, he's never seen it in person. The boy would shake his head before calming his sense before speaking in his normal monotone voice.

"You aren't going to attack me right? ...Because I mean... I didn't mean to intrude, I just... is that blood magic?" he asked curiously as he kept his distance.

She listend to Kaiza's confused words, soon starting to chuckle loudly before deciding to shake her head and slowly rose her hand before beaconing the boy to herself just as she responded with somewhat calmer tone, trying to avoid scaring the stranger, not in mood to go around chasing them around and Kaiza didn't appear or felt like a threat to her, at least for now.

 "As long as you don't pose a threat then I won't and I am a blood bender, don't worry though, its my own blood, I yet to have and get anyone elses blood if you are afraid of it and no...I don't go after stealing it from others." she said calmly before looking back at the fire and sighing loudly.

She appeared to be relatively calm despite the odd faintly detectable depravity which appeared to be radiating from her, being something that she most likely would avoid to speak of if one was to ask her about it.
