Dream scene 2

[On the following night after the first dream, when you go to sleep]

Your dream is disturbed once again.

You find yourself in an endless plain that stretches as far as the eye can see. No matter where you turn, grass is the only thing in sight.

However, if your travels have taught you something, it's that no matter how vast and empty a landscape may seem, there is always something of interest if you look hard enough.

And so you start walking.

As you do, the landscape starts changing. What was once lush, swaying grass underneath the bluest heavens, becomes a barren wasteland, with the sky becoming red. You don't stop, however, until the sky becomes completely black, and the ground starts dissolving under your feet. You are now floating in a black, endless void.

As you wonder what just happened, you hear laughter from far behind you, in the distance. You turn around and see a silhouette that resembles a small girl, with no other discernable details. As you squint your eyes, trying to get a better look, the silhouette bursts into a bright, blinding light. You cover your eyes, trying to not get your retinas burned, as the light approaches you faster and faster. And finally, it reaches you...

You wake up.

That's two nightmares in a row, and this one was even weirder.

As you ready yourself for the day, you wonder what on earth is going on...
