  1.
  2. Shining Hearts
  3.
  4. Platform: PSP
  5. Released: 16.12.2010
  6.
  7. Based on: Japanese version (ULJM-05780)
  8.
  9.
  10.
  11. - To avoid straining your body, play your PSP games either on the
  12. PlayStation TV (if a digital version is available) or by hooking your
  13. PSP up to a TV. Playing digital versions on the PSTV has the added
  14. benefit of offering the fastest loading speeds, making it by far the
  15. best choice.
  16. - Note, however, that the PlayStation TV is practically region locked
  17. when it comes to digital content. If you already have a PSTV tied to
  18. your western PSN account, you'll have to buy another PSTV.
  19. × You're probably not too keen on the idea of buying another PSTV just
  20. for one game, so here's some other stuff may want to pick up: the other
  21. two PSP Shining games, Final Fantasy Reishiki, Tales Radiant Mythology
  22. trilogy, Prinny 1 & 2, Salamander Portable, PS1 classics (eg. Chippoke
  23. Ralph, Gunners Heaven, Rockman 8, Umihara Kawase Shun) and a good load
  24. of PC Engine games. If the prices aren't to your liking and you're in
  25. no rush to play the games, wait for a sale.
  26. × Sadly, Vita memory cards have a relatively bad failure rate, so don't
  27. buy a card with more space than you need.
  28. - If you've already played the game on the PSP, you can fairly easily
  29. copy your save files to a PSTV. You'll have to use your PS3 as a middle
  30. man, though, and you have to sign in with your Japanese account on your
  31. PS3. And keep in mind, each user has their own storage space for save
  32. files that other users can't access.
  33. - The game has an optional 400mb install. It's practically mandatory,
  34. though, when played with a UMD, as the loading times are simply too
  35. long. Even with the install, the game will still feel a little sluggish,
  36. as it just can't load data fast enough. Again, just go with the digital
  37. version on the PSTV.
  38. × When playing the digital version, the install option offers no
  39. additional benefit.
  40.
  41. - If you die in a fixed encounter during a main quest or event, you'll
  42. be given the choice to either try again or return to the title screen.
  43. In other cases, a game over doesn't really mean anything. You'll just
  44. wake up in Homeship.
  45. - A single day is approximately 23 minutes long in real time. The day
  46. is divided between day and night, with the day lasting 13 minutes.
  47. You'll automatically call it a day at midnight (17m) if you're anywhere
  48. in Windaria or in an area with no encounters. Time only goes by when
  49. you're outdoors (not during dialog or battle or in the menu).
  50. - Encounters are slightly different between day and night.
  51. - In battle, your characters will always act in order from left to right.
  52. Enemies will act before you if they're faster than you. As such, having
  53. your fastest characters on the left would be optimal.
  54. - Every 8 battles, you'll get into a "red encounter" that features an
  55. enemy that is the strongest in that area. If you run away from it, you
  56. won't get one again until after another 7 battles. There are some small
  57. areas where these encounters don't occur (such as in the ice section in
  58. the cave on Spring Lake).
  59. - In event battles and red encounters, killing the enemy with the long
  60. HP bar will end the battle.
  61. - Poison: 6,25%
  62. - Within dungeons, you'll frequently find doors that block your path.
  63. These doors will gradually open as you reach new chapters. After reaching
  64. C6, they'll all be open.
  65. - I haven't covered any of the character sub-quests (which are generally
  66. short and simple). You can do these if you talk to a PC and the affinity
  67. between Rick and the character has reached a certain level. They also
  68. require you to have reached a certain chapter as well. Affinity is affected
  69. by the following things:
  70. × Give the character bread. The easiest method, although limited in how
  71. many times you can do it in a day. Some characters are also picky and
  72. will only accept certain types of bread.
  73. × Dialog choices
  74. × Performing double attacks. If more than one character is available,
  75. the level will drop for the character(s) you don't choose. Even if
  76. you don't choose anyone, it still seems to drop a little.
  77. - The option 'Mitsumeru' becomes available when talking to a PC during
  78. the evening. Choosing it will then trigger a 'close-up event' with said
  79. PC come midnight (but only if you're in Windaria). During the event, you
  80. can increase affinity if you pick the right dialog choices.
  81. - You can carry up to 200 pieces of equipment and store up to 400. If
  82. you have a full inventory and obtain a piece of equipment, you'll be given
  83. the choice to discard something to make room for it. Achievement accessories
  84. can't be gotten rid of, so if it's one of those, you have no choice but
  85. to throw something away.
  86. - Healing spells:
  87. Heal | 4 MP | 50% HP Aura | 10 MP | 50% HP \ all
  88. Hi-Heal | 8 MP | 75% HP Fill Aura | 16 MP | 75% HP \ all
  89. X-Heal | 12 MP | 100% HP
  90.
  91. - Buttons:
  92. Circle | Confirm L | Quest list
  93. X | Cancel R | Map
  94. Triangle | Menu Start | Save
  95. Square | Greet Select | Return
  96.
  97. - There could easily be some incorrect kanji readings. I have no formal
  98. education in Japanese and use online translators and sources (such as
  99. jisho.org) for the kanji. No actual Japanese characters are used (except
  100. in the bread file).
  101. × The bread file is probably best viewed in a browser.
  102.
  103. Bugs
  104. - If you've just booted the game up and load a save file where you're
  105. in a dungeon, you may not be able to access the map until you move to
  106. another area.
  107. - When choosing an item to equip, the game always shows your MP to be at
  108. max, regardless of what the actual figure is.
  109. - When making a delivery to Snow Crystal Tou, the location of the snowman
  110. shown on the map is incorrect.
  111. - If an enemy moves and releases hearts later during the same round, the
  112. hearts will pop up from the enemy's old position.
  113. - If you're playing the game on an unintended platform, you may encounter
  114. bugs that do not occur on official platforms.
  115.
  116.
  117.
  118.
  119. Chapter 0 (C0)
  120.
  121. PC: Neris (Kariudo) / Amil (Mahoutsukai) / Airy (Shuudoujo)
  122. - You need to choose which one of the above characters will join you.
  123. Better choose carefully, as the other two characters will never join
  124. your party (or make any appearances at all for that matter), and the
  125. girl you choose will always be part of your active party. I always go
  126. with Neris myself.
  127.
  128. Default (Rick Lv1): Wood Sword, Ki no Tate, Nuno no Fuku
  129. Default (Neris Lv4): Ki no Yumi, Shouyousei no Ya, Nuno no Fuku
  130. Default (Amil Lv4): Kijutsushi no Rod, Honoo no Madousho 1 Kan, Nuno no Fuku
  131. Default (Airy Lv4): Houga no Seisho, Koboku no Rosario, Nuno no Fuku
  132.
  133. - You'll start with 500 G and 50 points of each color.
  134. - Spells / Skills: Spark (Rick), Quick & Kaihi (Neris)
  135. × Amil: Blaze, Freeze, Sleep, Exit
  136. × Airy: Heal, Antidote, Guard Wall
  137.
  138. Quest: Delivery (Flora)
  139. - Before long, you'll get your first delivery task.
  140. - Note the third option at the shop. This allows you to view wares that
  141. change daily and typically can't be obtained any other way. This option
  142. shows up for both Paul and Marie, and each will have 3 items. These items
  143. are chosen randomly from a pool of items that is different between the
  144. two. Marie's pool of items is mostly the same until C5, whereas Paul's
  145. pool of items often changes mostly or completely between chapters. Some
  146. of the items that are dropped will become part of the regular wares,
  147. but most of them simply become unavailable for good.
  148. - Return to the bakery after your first delivery.
  149. - From now on, you can get random delivery quests from Madera. During
  150. C0 and C1, she'll automatically give you a few at the beginning of each
  151. day after meeting Isari. These are all optional, so if you don't feel
  152. like doing them, you really don't have to. The deliveries I've listed
  153. are all mandatory story events. After the morning deliveries, she may
  154. give you fetch quests as well.
  155. - Unlocking an achievement automatically gives you an accessory of the
  156. same name.
  157.
  158. Quest: Fetch 3x Komugi (Madera) (optional)
  159. - Get some wheat at Joseph's field (any kind will do). If there isn't
  160. enough at Joseph's, you can also buy it at the store or get it from
  161. the field near Elf no Mori.
  162.
  163. >> Call it a day (ie. return to Homeship, examine your bed, top option)
  164.
  165. Items: 4x Nut Bread (*5)
  166. Quest: Delivery (Alvin)
  167. Boss: King Spider (Elf no Mori)
  168. - The bakery is the only place where you can sell your bread. You should
  169. sell the Nut Bread to get 4800 G (1200 G each).
  170. - At Xiaomei's shop, you can "identify" rocks (Nazo no Ishi) and metals
  171. (Nazo no Kinzoku) for 100 G each. The result of the process is random.
  172. - Using healing spells is the best way to keep your HP up, as there are
  173. no typical healing items (at least not any good ones). Bread can be used
  174. to recover HP and/or MP, but you can only carry up to 20 of it. That
  175. said, it's best to carry bread that recovers MP.
  176. - There are, however, items that will revive a dead character (Tenshi
  177. no Namida - 500 G, Megami no Namida - 1200 G).
  178. You can also use flowers (Hana) to heal status ailments, but they're
  179. not that easy to come by in large numbers.
  180. - Daruban and Steed will give you random quests that involve killing
  181. a number of a specific enemy. The other large islands have one NPC each
  182. that give you the same kind of quests.
  183.
  184. [Boss]
  185. - + 2 Aoimomushi, drop: Genki no Candy
  186.
  187. - You don't actually lose any of your bread during the event with Kuon.
  188. - Return to the bakery for another scene (if you call it a day instead,
  189. the scene will play at the beginning of the next day, but then you can't
  190. trigger the next scene until you pass another day).
  191. - Don't forget that you can press Select to cast Return, which will warp
  192. you to Homeship. You can only use it outside.
  193.
  194. >> Call it a day
  195.
  196. - You'll obtain the pet box, where you can hatch spirits (Seirei) from
  197. Crystal Eggs. Spirits can be "equipped" on Rick for a small stat boost
  198. and some new abilities. Crystal Eggs are dropped by some enemies in red
  199. encounters. There's a list in the misc. file.
  200.
  201. Quest: Baking challenge 1 (*3 Milk Bread) (optional)
  202. Quest: Delivery (Isari)
  203. - You can now bake bread. From now on, PCs and NPCs may ask you to bring
  204. them some kind of bread (*3 quality), which you need to bake yourself or
  205. buy. They may also give you fetch quests.
  206. - There are four different timings for using the oven. Soft baking requires
  207. that you hit Confirm as soon as you get the first waves. Button mashing
  208. doesn't really do it, so you just have to get the timing right.
  209. - Bake 10 Kurokogepan to get an accessory that gives you HP Drain.
  210. - Completing a baking challenge quest will automatically give you the next
  211. one. Completing them gives you new recipes and melodies
  212. I leave these quests for C7, so I can get the most xp out of them.
  213.
  214. Quest: Fishing challenge 1 (Iwashi) (Isari) (optional)
  215. - You can now fish (you don't actually get to keep the fish you get during
  216. the tutorial). As far as I know, the size and size records have no actual
  217. impact on anything.
  218. - Isari wants you to catch and deliver 15 different types of fish. Again,
  219. I leave these quests for C7.
  220.
  221. - To end C0, you must have accumulated at least 520 HrP, then call it
  222. a day (ie. you need to have 520 HrP at the start of the day).
  223.
  224. >> Call it a day
  225.
  226.
  227. Chapter 1 (C1)
  228.
  229. - After the events, you can go to the bakery for one more quick scene,
  230. but if you call it a day, it'll play the next day and you'll still trigger
  231. the scene with the orange orb.
  232.
  233. >> Call it a day
  234.
  235. Quest: Orange Orb (Xiaomei)
  236. Default (Xiaomei): Nuno no Glove, Spade no 2, Nuno no Fuku
  237. PC: Xiaomei Lv9
  238. - Xiaomei: Nusumu, Kaihi, Exit
  239.
  240. >> Call it a day
  241.
  242. Quest: Delivery (Ragnus)
  243. Default (Lorna): Namakuramaru, Maid Fuku
  244. Default (Rufina): Ooban no Seisho, Geranium Aroma, Kegawa no Coat
  245. Default (Ragnus): Bronze Sword, Etude Harp, Bronze Mail
  246. PCs: Lorna Lv9, Rufina Lv10, Ragnus Lv10
  247. - Lorna: Blaze, Quick, Saigo no Ichigeki
  248. - Rufina: Shouten, Shine, Heal, Anti-Bind
  249. - Ragnus: Critical, Shine, Change Light
  250. - The party I use is Rick, Neris, Xiaomei and Lorna.
  251. - If you're not using Ragnus and Rufina, pass their gear to other PCs.
  252. - Return to the bakery, then go see Kaguya, then return to the bakery to
  253. obtain the recipe for Kaguya's bread.
  254. - From now on, every day you'll automatically receive a quest to deliver
  255. Kaguya no Tame no Pan to Kaguya (unless she's MIA)(you have to bake it
  256. yourself). This is optional, though, unless stated otherwise.
  257.
  258. >> Call it a day
  259.
  260. - Deliver some bread to Kaguya.
  261.
  262. >> Call it a day
  263.
  264. - Deliver some bread to Kaguya and you'll obtain the Red Key.
  265. - At the end of each chapter, you'll obtain a key from Kaguya. To start
  266. the next chapter, you need to drop off the key at the lake behind the
  267. hospital at night (check your bed and choose the second option to rest
  268. until nightfall). After C2, you also need to accumulate enough HrP to
  269. max out the gauge seen at the end of a day before you can drop it off.
  270.
  271.
  272. Chapter 2 (C2)
  273.
  274. - Your ship has received an upgrade and is now fit to sail. The only
  275. other (large) island currently accessible is Summer Hill Tou. There's
  276. also a new room, where you can pick up some ingredients and store items.
  277. You should store any accessories you don't use and other equipment as
  278. well if you're not selling it.
  279. - You can fairly easily get Fukutsu no Seishin (allows you to cast Aura)
  280. by taking a lava bath on Summer Hill (requires 10 game overs). Remove
  281. the other two characters from your party first.
  282. - You can now loot Guster's farm.
  283.
  284. Quests: Cat Statue (Xiaomei), Fushigi na Herb (Rufina)
  285. - Scene at the hospital.
  286. - Next, you need to see Xiaomei (Rufina can't be reached right now).
  287. When you do, you'll wait until nightfall and then need to go through
  288. a short dungeon.
  289.
  290. Items (c): Kegawa no Boushi, Club no 3
  291. - The Vampire at the end drops a Satori no Candy.
  292.
  293. >> Call it a day
  294.
  295. Quest: Delivery (Sorbet)
  296. Default (Melty): Vanilla Wand, Teppeki no Madousho 1 Kan, Nuno no Fuku,
  297. Majo no Manto
  298. PC: Melty Lv11
  299. - Scene at the bakery. You can only deliver Melty's bread at night. You
  300. might be able to do Xiaomei's first side-quest at this point. This would
  301. conveniently advance the time until night.
  302. - Melty: Freeze, Dark Arrow, Confuse, Exit
  303.
  304. >> Call it a day
  305.
  306. - You should now be able to see Rufina and Ragnus.
  307.
  308. Quest: Find Dylan (bar)
  309. Quest: Info on Ma no Mori (Alvin)
  310. Quest: Kekkousou (Summer Hill - Ma no Mori)
  311. Default (Alvin): Koboku no Yumi, Koboku no Yazutsu, Nuno no Fuku
  312. PC: Alvin Lv11
  313. - You'll need Alvin's help in order to explore Ma no Mori.
  314. - Alvin: Mahou Taisei, Drain, Bind
  315.
  316. >> Call it a day
  317.
  318. - I don't know why, but the encounter rate in Ma no Mori is ridiculously
  319. high. Going through the cave will advance the time till night. The Gremlin
  320. at the end drops a Chikara no Candy.
  321. - You can now obtain the Green Key from Kaguya. Drop it at the lake at
  322. night like before.
  323.
  324.
  325. Chapter 3 (C3)
  326.
  327. - You can now sail to Spring Lake Tou.
  328. × The enemies near the cherry tree on Spring Lake can drop White Cookies
  329. and Royal Honey.
  330. - The enemies on the little island next to Spring Lake (El Dora Tou) are
  331. quite tough at this point, but if you can manage to survive, you'll get
  332. some good Exp.
  333. - The rest of Joseph's farm is now accessible. You can also get Kuon to
  334. join by feeding him a whole bunch of bread. If you keep giving him bread,
  335. he'll eventually give you the Hamburger recipe.
  336. - Feel free to check out the new areas in dungeons you've previously had
  337. access to.
  338.
  339. Default (Kuon): Tetsu no Tsume, Jimi na Koshimaki, Boroboro no Manto
  340. PC: Kuon Lv12
  341.
  342. Quest: Find Hank
  343. - Visit the Bakery to find that the oven is broken. You'll need Hank's
  344. help to get it back in working condition. Go through the mountain caves
  345. near the cemetery to reach his place (if you haven't already been there).
  346.
  347. Default (Hank): Kizuchi, Robocom Arm, Kawa no Fuku
  348. PC: Hank Lv13
  349. - The oven will be fixed (no upgrades or anything, though).
  350. - Hank can create equipment and enhance weapons, provided that you're
  351. able to procure the necessary materials.
  352. × There are four sets of IC items and a new set becomes available when
  353. you reach a new chapter.
  354. × Enhancing weapons uses elemental stones and Toumei na Ishis. Elemental
  355. stones can be found in small numbers in specific dungeons as well as
  356. obtained through IDing Nazo no Ishis. Toumei na Ishis are found in small
  357. numbers only in the Dwarven caves. I suggest you save your stones until
  358. you've got the best or almost best weapons.
  359. × A weapon can be enhanced up to 10 times. Maxing it out will take some
  360. 40 or so stones. Once maxed, the weapon will have double stats. Enhancing
  361. weapons will also give them new abilities.
  362. - Talk to Madera to receive a delivery quest to Spring Lake.
  363.
  364. Quest: Delivery (Elf - Spring Lake)
  365.
  366. >> Call it a day
  367.
  368. - Scene at Ron's place and at the bakery.
  369.
  370. Quest: Hank no Himatsubushi 1 (Hank) (optional)
  371. - Visit Hank and he'll ask you to bring him a Hikari no Ishi and regular
  372. Bread (any quality). You can find a Hikari no Ishi in the caves on Spring
  373. Lake. If you don't complete this in this chapter, the follow-up quest(s)
  374. will simply queue up. You can't miss any of them (although you can't do
  375. more than one of them in a single day).
  376.
  377. >> Call it a day
  378.
  379. - As you cross the bridge southwest of the bakery, you'll have to fight
  380. two pirates. A fair amount of dialog follows.
  381.
  382. >> Call it a day
  383.
  384. - Talk to at least 6 people about the pendant.
  385.
  386. >> Call it a day
  387.
  388. Quest: Delivery (Flora)
  389. Default (Dylan): Twin Dagger, Jingaa, Scale Mail
  390. PC: Dylan Lv15
  391. - You should receive a quest to deliver some bread to Flora. During
  392. the following events, Dylan will join the party, and you'll receive
  393. the Blue Key. Drop it off at the lake as usual.
  394. - The names of Dylan's secondary weapons seem to be inspired by various
  395. condiments and spices (eg. Masutuudo -> mustard, Netsumeggu -> nutmeg).
  396.
  397.
  398. Chapter 4 (C4)
  399.
  400. Quest: Ocarina (Ragnus)
  401. Quest: Hank no Himatsubushi 2 (optional)
  402. - You can now sail to Snow Crystal Tou. Your ship is also equipped with
  403. some new boxes.
  404. - Ragnus can't be reached right away. You need to deliver some bread to
  405. Kaguya first.
  406. - Hank is now asking for a Black Onyx and some Milkbread. If you don't
  407. have a Black Onyx, you can find them in a cave on Summer Hill (not the
  408. volcano).
  409.
  410. >> Call it a day
  411.
  412. - Deliver some bread to Kaguya.
  413. - Scene at the bakery.
  414.
  415. >> Call it a day
  416.
  417. - Deliver some bread to Kaguya. Obtain the Yellow Key.
  418.
  419.
  420. Chapter 5 (C5)
  421.
  422. Quest: Thingie (Hank)
  423. - You can now sail to Autumn Leaf Tou.
  424. - Go see Hank about the thingie you found, and you'll have an oven
  425. installed in your ship. They don't work quite as fast as Cid, though,
  426. so you'll have to wait until nightfall before they're finished, and
  427. since they're occupying your ship, you can't rest in your bed to do so.
  428.
  429. >> Call it a day (automatic)
  430.
  431. Quest: Hank no Himatsubushi 3 (optional)
  432. - Bake something with the oven in your ship (something other than
  433. Kurokogepan).
  434. - Deliver some bread to Kaguya.
  435. - Now Hank wants a Kaze no Ishi and some Carrot Bread.
  436.
  437. >> Call it a day
  438.
  439. - Return to your ship after the event.
  440.
  441. Quest: Rescue Kaguya (Sea)
  442. - Attack the ship near Windaria.
  443. × 2 Kobolts (Mamori no Candy)
  444. × 3 Kobolts (Kihaku no Candy)
  445. × 1 Lizardman + 4 Kobolts
  446.
  447. - The quest will fail, but this is supposed to happen.
  448.
  449. >> Call it a day (automatic)
  450.
  451. - Scene at the bar. Your next target is the small fleet near Autumn Leaf.
  452.
  453. Bosses: Baldur, Reidon
  454. × 3 Kobolts
  455. × 3 Lizardmen
  456. × Baldur, Kobolt, Lizardman
  457. × 4 Kobolts (Hayate no Candy, Satori no Candy)
  458. × Kobolt, 2 Lizardmen (Mamori no Candy)
  459. × Reidon, 3 Kobolts (Chishiki no Candy)
  460.
  461. >> Call it a day (automatic)
  462.
  463. - Next, attack Mistral's ship near Autumn Leaf.
  464.
  465. Bosses: Gadem, Leviathan
  466. × 4 Lizardmen (Kihaku no Candy)
  467. × Lizardman, 2 Kobolts
  468. × 5 Kobolts (Chishiki no Candy)
  469. × Gadem (Hayate no Candy)
  470. × Leviathan (Mamori no Candy)
  471.
  472. - You can now access a new cave in the southwest part of Autumn Leaf.
  473.
  474. Items (c): Ice Shield, Youseiou no Ya, Honoo no Madousho 8-kan
  475. Bosses: Reidon & Gadem, Mistral
  476. - You'll fight Reidon & Gadem after solving the puzzle and crossing
  477. the bridge. If you're below Lv30, you'll get slaughtered.
  478. - You'll fight Mistral in the northwest area (a *much* easier battle).
  479. Make sure you grab the chests first.
  480. × Mistral, Leviathan, 2 Lizardmen (Kihaku no Candy)
  481. - Obtain the Black Key.
  482.
  483.
  484. Chapter 6 (C6)
  485.
  486. Quest: Hank no Himatsubushi 4 (optional)
  487. - Your ship has expanded.
  488. - Hank is now asking for a Meteorite and some Pumpkin Bread. You can
  489. (usually) find a Meteorite on the small island southwest of Snow Crystal.
  490. - In case you were hoping to create the Ikusagamimaru, I suggest you just
  491. forget about it. Unless you've completed 10 baking challenge quests, you
  492. won't be able to create the bread needed to attract the Mithril Shark,
  493. and they're probably impossible to catch without it. Unfortunately, that
  494. means you're stuck with the Kotetsumaru, as Lorna's last sub-quest won't
  495. become available until C7.
  496. - Go see Rufina.
  497.
  498. Bosses: White Queen, Ixion Knight
  499. - Another fleet of ships is waiting for you right off the coast. There's
  500. no way to slip past these guys, so I do hope you're prepared.
  501. × Pawn, 2 Skypawns (Satori no Candy, Chikara no Candy)
  502. × 3 Skypawns (Genki no Candy)
  503. × Sky Leader, 2 Skypawns, 2 Magic Pawns
  504. × White Queen, 4 Skypawns
  505. × Ixion Knight, 2 Skypawns, 2 Sky Leaders (Chishiki no Candy)
  506.
  507. >> Call it a day
  508.
  509. - Your next target is the fortress, Al Bion, northeast of Windaria.
  510. You will no longer have access to this area once you complete the events
  511. there.
  512.
  513. Boss: Zelger Rook, Necros Bishop, Black Knight
  514. - You'll fight Rook on B1, Bishop on B2, followed immediately by Black Knight.
  515. × Zelger Rook, 4 Pawns
  516. × Necros Bishop, 4 Skypawns
  517. × Black Knight, 2 Skyleaders, Iron Hound Houtou 1, Iron Hound Houtou 2
  518. - Although lacking a long HP bar, the Black Knight is the main target here.
  519. If you want to destroy the turrets, do it before you take him out.
  520.
  521. >> Call it a day (automatic)
  522.
  523. Quest: Bread for Melty
  524. - After delivering Melty's bread, check back with Madera for another one.
  525. Quest: Bread for Alvin
  526. - You'll have to choose the third dialog option to proceed.
  527. - You'll now have to make Kaguya no Tame no Pan using the Ai no Serenade
  528. melody, which consumes 500 RH and GH.
  529.
  530. >> Call it a day
  531.
  532. - Go see Rufina and Ragnus.
  533. - Once you set off, you'll automatically sail past the stormy area north
  534. and won't be back until you're done there.
  535. - You now have access to Dark Grave Tou. Inside the cave there, you'll
  536. find a rather annoying gate puzzle. It's not really hard, but it can get
  537. very frustrating because of all the running around. If you want to spare
  538. yourself from the frustration, here's the solution. You need to hit the
  539. switches in this order: blue (south), red (northwest), green (northeast)
  540. (and then yellow in the next area). After getting through the cave, check
  541. the grave near the Kodai Iseki to find the second Kishi no Ring.
  542. - Stay away from the little island east of Dark Grave (Shanbara Tou). The
  543. enemies are way too powerful there.
  544. - You have access to Xiaomei's shop, so keep that in mind if you end up
  545. with a lot of useless equipment.
  546.
  547. Boss: White Queen
  548. - You'll fight White Queen on B1 of the cruiser (Zeeadoraa Gou). This
  549. is also where you can find Kodai Shinheiki (red encounter) in case
  550. you're hoping to score a Shining Bow. Don't forget that you can just
  551. save right before the encounter, then load the game if you don't get
  552. it. I get two myself. And don't forget that you have access to Hank's
  553. shop as well.
  554. × White Queen, 2 Skypawns
  555. - You'll find Kaguya soon after that and obtain the Silver Key along with
  556. a keycard that allows you to enter the fortress (Al Cutlass).
  557. - You should get some Seirei no Tiaras (while you still have the chance).
  558. Bosses: Izak, Big Izak & Cube Izak
  559. × 1F: 5 Pawn Leaders
  560. × B1: Red Queen, 4 Red Rooks
  561. × B2: Red Queen, 4 Red Knights (Genki no Candy)
  562. × B3: Red Queen, 4 Red Bishops (Hayate no Candy)
  563. × B4: Izak (Chikara no Candy), Big Izak, Cube Izak (5600 HP)
  564.
  565. - You'll be back at Windaria. Go drop off the key.
  566.
  567.
  568. Chapter 7 (C7)
  569.
  570. Quest: Hank no Himatsubushi 5 (optional)
  571. - Hank is now asking for a Sapphire and some Butter Bread.
  572. - There are almost no new pieces of equipment available at the shop.
  573. - Deliver some bread to Kaguya.
  574. - Scene at the bakery.
  575.
  576. >> Call it a day
  577.
  578. Quest: Kaguya's request
  579. - Kaguya asks for two items: Wolf no Ke and Shiroi Mofumofu. You should
  580. already have the wolf pelt, but the other one requires that you kill
  581. the Behemoth, who's a special encounter on B2 of the Summer Hill volcano.
  582. This guy hits really hard, but he can't really do anything from the
  583. back row. If you leave one of the wolves alive, you can just whittle
  584. away his HP with ranged attacks like Quick Arrow and Knife Shuriken.
  585. If you're about Lv40, there's no need for that.
  586.
  587. >> Call it a day
  588.
  589. - Talk to Kaguya, then go to the bakery and you'll obtain the Gold Key.
  590. You don't have to drop this off the same way as before. Simply call it
  591. a day and the game will end (kind of).
  592. - Once the credits have rolled, you can continue playing.
  593.
  594.
  595.
  596. End of file.
