Weapon 1 - Hind

Another morning. Another day of work. For some, at least.

I got up, did some stretching, and went off to clean my body. This day is not the same as the others, it is special. The glory to present my invention to Chief Engineer!

I made a mechanism that can support two ways of firing weapons. It will revolutionize the way we do war! My work, for my Queens.

I walked through this corridor, with a weapon in my hands. It is not a prototype, let me tell ya right now. I made it with scrap parts from the Weapons Production area, The cheerful folks who work there also let me use one of their machines, just so that this weapon is crafted for Chief Engineer.

I stood in front of this circular door, waiting for their signal to enter. I did a quick re-check of the gun. It seems all is fine, the gun's in good condition, and the mechanism is working well, as far as I know.

This should fire one bullet made out of five bullets, or it can fire as many bullets as it can.

BUZZ! The door slowly opened. I was in surprise.

I thought I only need to present to Chief Engineer, not with so many people! Oh, nevermind, I don't care that much, as long as I don't get in their way, I can~

"What is that, buddy? A piece of... bread?" And there was this piercing echo of laughter. I need to endure this, my only aim is to please Chief Engineer. I walked forward, until I reached a table, in front of who I will present this marvellous piece of genius!

"I present to you, a gun that can fire bullets in two ways!", I exclaimed. "Fool! We already have one of those!" A voice from the audience snickered. More laughs. My ears are tingling from all of it, and I my patience is running out.

"In what way does it fire?", the Chief Engineer asks. "A single burst fire, and a continuous fire.", I replied. The Chief Engineer stood up, and asked if he could hold my invention. I handed it to him, with a big smile. He examined it, for what I think was a long time. The next moment, his head shook.

"What is this that you made? Am I a joke to you?!", he exclaimed. What is he talking about? I made this genius weapon for my Queens, and this is what you will say?

The crowd roared in laughter. I can no longer fight the urge.

"I can show you how to fire it, once you let me have it"~ No, no, no, no, no, I am not a target! Stop pointing that at me!

"Really, now, how will this fire?" He pulled the trigger.

I think I am bleeding now. A seething pain has entered my body. I am not here to die yet!

"I held the trigger, but it only spewed a bullet! Pathetic construction." I cannot wait for longer. I tackled Chief Engineer ~ or should I say Chief Scumbag ~ and held my gun again. I fired the normal way. Five bullets went out. Hit five comrades. Comrades no more. Another tap of the trigger, and five more dead.

I have hurled bullets to my former soldiers. I am a soldier no longer. I am now an outlaw.
