  1. For unit selection you need to pay attention to a handful of things: Do you need more PP, do you need more HP or would you like slightly more base attack? You might want to also make your decision based on how much def and resists a unit brings to the table too. At the end of the day the best set of units will depend on what *YOU* need and not what someone else recommends. I think you should use units to make up for your own weaknesses, personally.
  2.
  3. ANOTHER VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Do *NOT* use your transfer passes. Newly announced mission pass stuff for JP means we'll be getting insane capsules that synergise very well with transfer passes. Also don't waste mission badges if you can avoid it.
  4.
  5. 12* Rears:
  6.
  7. Back / Circuray (upgrades into Back / Circunion)
  8. Pros: Good all rounder units, solid but not the best in any one aspect. Very good mix of attack, def, PP and HP
  9. Cons: Definitely all rounders, so don't excel in any one area
  10. Recommended classes: Any, good starter units even unaffixed. A good use of rising weapon badges and naturally drop in ultimates. These will comfortably last a lot of classes until end of episode 5
  11.
  12. Back / Whiteal Ploum
  13. Pros: Insane PP, absolutely insane
  14. Cons: Defenses are absolute garbage
  15. Recommended classes: A good summoner unit, replaced during episode 5
  16.
  17. Back / Lightning Glow Izaneishi
  18. Pros: Good HP, good def
  19. Cons: Zero pp
  20. Recommended classes: Could use these on fighters but a lot of classes definitely want some PP, so having no PP is a big downside.
  21.
  22. Back / Gryzo Berula
  23. Pros: Very good pp and TEC
  24. Cons: No HP
  25. Recommended classes: Sadly these don't really sit on any class right now because Force still wants HP
  26.
  27. Back / Astra Gres
  28. Pros: Solid HP and solid PP, good middle of the road unit
  29. Cons: It's also another average unit, is very rare and a sidegrade to ray/union
  30. Recommended classes: Anything, if it drops, feel free to use it. It's more PP than union but less HP.
  31.
  32. Back / Ofzeterious
  33. Pros: Amazing set bonus when combined with Arms / Ofzende that gives an insane amount of PP while giving very good HP and solid attack
  34. Cons: Without the set bonus this unit gives a suboptimal amount of PP but a very good amount of base HP.
  35. Recommended classes: You can and should run this with the Arms / Ofzende if you get them both to drop on pretty much every class except maybe summoner
  36.
  37. Back / Zeinesis Gunof
  38. Pros: Very good HP
  39. Cons: Low PP and low attack
  40. Recommended classes: Maybe fighter or any situation where you don't need more PP than you have
  41.
  42. Back / Clifard Gunof
  43. Pros: Reminds me of Clifford the big red dog, also has decent PP and decent attack
  44. Cons: Low HP
  45. Recommended classes: Good all rounder, can make up for the low HP via affixing
  46.
  47. Arm units:
  48.
  49. Arms / Circaray (upgrades into Arms / Circaunion)
  50. Pros: Good all rounder units, solid but not the best in any one aspect. Very good mix of attack, def, PP and HP
  51. Cons: Definitely all rounders, so don't excel in any one area
  52. Recommended classes: Any, good starter units even unaffixed. A good use of rising weapon badges and naturally drop in ultimates. These will comfortably last a lot of classes until end of episode 5
  53.
  54. Arms / Gix Qud
  55. Pros: Also good all rounders, gain slight PP but lose some HP, gains slight attack over Union too
  56. Cons: Still just a sidegrade over union, loses slight HP
  57. Recommended classes: Just like union, they're good for most people (also everyone gets it via S-ranking ultimate amdu once)
  58.
  59. Arms / Whiteal Pina
  60. Pros: Insane PP, absolutely insane
  61. Cons: Defenses are absolute garbage
  62. Recommended classes: Summoner, doesn't need to get replaced in episode 5 and will last until episode 6, arms are awkward
  63.
  64. Arms / Lightning Glow Izaneshiki
  65. Pros: Good HP, good def
  66. Cons: Zero pp
  67. Recommended classes: Could use these on fighters but a lot of classes definitely want some PP, so having no PP is a big downside
  68.
  69. Arms / Astra Paio
  70. Pros: Solid HP and solid PP, good middle of the road unit
  71. Cons: It's also another average unit, is very rare and a sidegrade to ray/union
  72. Recommended classes: Anything, if it drops, feel free to use it. It's more PP than union but less HP.
  73.
  74. Arms / Deadlio Est
  75. Pros: Very good HP and very good Melee attack
  76. Cons: No PP, at all. Non-melee def is kinda weak
  77. Recommended classes: Fighter, maybe techer if you like the memes (I hate you Cammy, not really)
  78.
  79. Arms / Ofzende
  80. Pros: Amazing set bonus when combined with Back / Ofzeterious that gives an insane amount of PP while giving very good HP and solid attack
  81. Cons: Without the set bonus this unit gives a suboptimal amount of PP but a very good amount of base HP.
  82. Recommended classes: You can and should run this with the Back / Ofzeterious if you get them both to drop on pretty much every class except maybe summoner
  83.
  84. Arms / Zeinesis Lita
  85. Pros: Very good HP
  86. Cons: Low PP and low attack
  87. Recommended classes: Maybe fighter or any situation where you don't need more PP than you have
  88.
  89. Arms / Clifard Lita
  90. Pros: Reminds me of Clifford the big red dog, also has decent PP and decent attack
  91. Cons: Low HP
  92. Recommended classes: Good all rounder, can make up for the low HP via affixing
  93.
  94. Leg units:
  95.
  96. Legs / Circuray (upgrades into Legs / Circunion)
  97. Pros: Good all rounder units, solid but not the best in any one aspect. Very good mix of attack, def, PP and HP
  98. Cons: Definitely all rounders, so don't excel in any one area
  99. Recommended classes: Any, good starter units even unaffixed. A good use of rising weapon badges and naturally drop in ultimates. These will comfortably last a lot of classes until end of episode 5
  100.
  101. Legs / Whiteal Aer
  102. Pros: Insane PP, absolutely insane
  103. Cons: Defenses are absolute garbage
  104. Recommended classes: A good summoner unit, replaced during episode 5
  105.
  106. Legs / Lightning Glow Izanesuchi
  107. Pros: Good HP, good def
  108. Cons: Zero pp
  109. Recommended classes: Could use these on fighters but a lot of classes definitely want some PP, so having no PP is a big downside
  110.
  111. Legs / Astra Rize
  112. Pros: Solid HP and solid PP, good middle of the road unit
  113. Cons: It's also another average unit, is very rare and a sidegrade to ray/union
  114. Recommended classes: Anything, if it drops, feel free to use it. It's more PP than union but less HP.
  115.
  116. Legs / Ofzetrogie
  117. Pros: None, don't use this unit
  118. Cons: Everything, this unit sucks
  119. Recommended classes: None... Do not use this unit, it sucks
  120.
  121. Legs / Zeinesis Rem
  122. Pros: Very good HP
  123. Cons: Low PP and low attack
  124. Recommended classes: Maybe fighter or any situation where you don't need more PP than you have
  125.
  126. Legs / Clifard Rem
  127. Pros: Reminds me of Clifford the big red dog, also has decent PP and decent attack
  128. Cons: Low HP
  129. Recommended classes: Good all rounder, can make up for the low HP via affixing
  130.
  131.
  132.
  133. Basic all class unit affix:
  134. Not sure on this one, I personally just went with default until I could afford a proper midrange affix.
  135.
  136. Midrange all class (except summoner) unit affix:
  137. Only need one doom break II fodder with either fullvegas or eastern soul, this will give you solid hp, decent attack and good pp. Can replace arks fever with a stat III or stat IV if you want but you'll need the respective field soul to do that. Any field soul will do for combining with fullvegas/eastern soul. Can also replace arks fever with arks max or use arks fever in a 5th fodder. Can extend this to a 5S unit and add in arks max or the stat IV if you want. Another option to replace arks fever, arks max or a stat is using modulator. It'll come at a cost though!

  139.
  140. Budget summoner:
  141. acto, might 3, arks fever/spirita 3, capsule would be good but noble might is incredibly expensive so you might wanna shake this up a bit. Not entirely sure what else to do instead of the capsule!
