Alexithymiaa: -Steph was up with her music things, determined to make a demo to send back to Anna and as a rebutle to them not liking the first song she wrote. She had a stroke of inspiration over the weekend as getting away from Portland tends to do, and now she had her notebook open in front of her as she pushed her fingers into the keyboard and sang, trying to perfect the notes. Covet: Felix had been laying on the couch with the dogs, snacking on some veggie puff chip things, sharing them with both Nugget and Penny. He was watching some animal show or another, not really paying attention, having the subtitles on and the sound down a little so he could hear Steph.
Alexithymiaa: -She paused her playing and singing to reach up and change some notes in her notebook, erasing what she had down and adjusting it before replaying the same tune with the adjustment, continuing through it to the next part. "I don't wanna waste no time, yeah. You ain't got a one track mind, yeah. Have it any way you like, yeah."-
Covet: Rochelle's cab from the airport showed up and parked. The driver getting out after popping the trunk to help her with her suit case. She paid him then pulled the zipper up on her hoodie a little because it was cold compared to where she was. Taking her suitcase she headed up to the door and rang the doorbell. // Felix jumped when both dogs started barking and dashed for the door at the sound of the doorbell. Penny running right across his lap, stepping on his junk as she tore off. He groaned and called out to them. "Hey, Calm down! You assholes." He walked over to the door holding his crotch as he walked up to the door and unlocked it, seeing his mother on the other side, "Oh shit... I knew I forgot something today."
Alexithymiaa: (SHES COLD AND NOAHS SWIMMING. IM DEAD.)
Alexithymiaa: -She smashed her hands into the keys, raising her voice down to Felix. "Are you getting that?" She said as she focused on continuing through her music, reaching the bridge and trying to hit the notes she was positive Anna would nail in a heartbeat, doing her best to imitate the runs she imagined Anna would add to the song since that chick just likes to show off.-
Covet: "Woman, I am already at the door!" He said yelling back up at Steph. "It's Mom." Felix added, then opened it up for her to come inside. "I'm so sorry, why didn't you message me so I could come pick you up?" // Rochelle walked inside and pushed her suitcase to the side before giving her space case son a hug, "Because, I wanted to see if you would forget. But it's no big deal. I'm still here, because I didn't forget." She told him letting him go.

Alexithymiaa: -She stopped when Felix said it was his mom, instantly abandoning her keyboard and her music to start down the stairs. "Why didnt you tell me she was coming today?" She asked with a fucking attitude to Felix, making her way to Rochelle to give her a big hug. "I'm so glad you're here."-
Covet: Felix groaned and closed his eyes, "Because I was just saying, that I forgot. I'm a terrible son, I know." He gave a soft look, as he crossed his arms.// Rochelle went to give Steph a big hug as well, "Hey there Kiddo, I'm glad to be here too. I wasn't going to miss Felix's first professional show."
Alexithymiaa: "See, professional." She said, sticking her tongue out at Felix since they'd just gone over this a few days ago. "I need to make up the guest room for you. Arizona, get her bag. Quit standing around." She said quickly as she turned to walk into the hallway, getting a fresh set of sheets from the closet and continuing on to the guest room.-
Covet: "I'm.. just.. but..." He started, furrowing his brow as he took his mom's suitcase and pulled it along into the spare bedroom. " It's not even that unmade in here." Felix said to Steph. // Rochelle smiled then followed them into the room, "It's quite alright, I can make up the bed myself, no need to stress yourself over it."
Alexithymiaa: "Don't be ridiculous, you've been traveling and you're our guest. I'll make up the bed. Are you hungry?" She asked, beginning to strip the sheets from the bed to toss into a pile. "I'd have been a little more prepared if someone remembered to tell me you were coming."-
Covet: "OKAY I GET IT!" Felix said standing in the doorway." with his arms crossed, "It's fine, it's just Mom. It doesn't have to be a big show everytime she comes." // Rochelle laughed at Felix's annoyance. "No, I'm good on the food, I packed some snacks with me for the flight, and kind of filled up on them."
Alexithymiaa: -She pushed the sheets she'd taken off the bed into Felix's arms, giving him a daring look. "Cut it out. She doesn't come that often and she's our guest. I'm allowed to be excited that she's here." Don't test her, Felix. She whirled back around to the bed, pulling the new sheets onto the mattress and tucking everything in. "We have class tomorrow, but Felix can leave you his Jeep so you can ride around town and not be bound to the house."-
Covet: "I'm not doing anything." Felix said with another groan. "Yeah, that's fine, I can just take my bike." he said with a shrug watching them still. "You do realize that the show isn't until Thursday though, right?" He asked his mom.// Rochelle put her hands on her hips and looked at Felix. " I'll have you know I didn't come just for you. I wanted to see you both." His mom said, tucking her suitcase away.
Alexithymiaa: -Pulling the comforter over the bed and arranging the pillows back into place, she turned around to face them and smiled. "Yeah, you need to share mom. Jeez Arizona." She said with a mocking attitude before getting excited. "I actually heard one of the songs I sold on the radio today. It felt really cool."-
Covet: "What? Are you serious? How could you not say something. You just let me ramble on about Marshmallow and Ninja warrior all afternoon." Felix said, then shook his head, "That's awesome."// Smiling she walked over to to Steph and gave her a hug, " Awwh, I'm so happy for you, Kiddo. I bet that was an amazing feeling."
Alexithymiaa: "I was actually kind of hoping you would have heard it on the radio too. Or hoping you would eventually, I don't know." She leaned into Rochelle's hug, nodding her head. "Yeah, it was pretty cool. And I wrote another song for her after that so I have a feeling I'll hear that one next since she's working on releasing songs for a new album." She eyed Felix, nodding her head in his direction. "Because we're professionals."-
Covet: "I'll keep my ears open for it." Felix said with a smile, proud of his girlfriend. // Rochelle pulled back. "That's amazing, You're really doing a lot better, then when I last saw you. There's life in your eyes." She said with a smile. "It's a good look for you."
Alexithymiaa: -She opened her mouth to speak before cutting herself off, nodding her head. "Yeah, I wasn't in the greatest place after my surgery. Things are better now though. We're..." She trailed off, looking at Felix. "I'm happy."-
Covet: "We're happy." Felix said with a smile, reassuring her. "Steph has actualy spoiled me quite a bit lately. Can you tell her to stop, because it will only lead to bad things." Felix said in a tattling tone. // Rochelle looked at them both, "You usually are pretty happy whenever I see you together. I'm glad you're feeling better, and that things are better for you, specifically."
Alexithymiaa: "To be fair, it was anniversary things so I was entitle to a little spoiling. Don't worry, if you want me to treat you like garbage from now on that can easily be done. There are tile floors and a toothbrush with your nail on them." She gave him a quick wink, moving away from Rochelle to give Felix a playful shove. "I guess we just... bring out the best in each other?" She half asked after Rochelle's comment.-
Covet: "I am your boyfriend, not your live in eye candy maid." Felix said, giving her a shove back. "Is that what we're calling it now? Bringing out the best?" He smirked, being terrible. Not the time and place dude. // Rochelle smiled at them both. "Well, whatever it is. It's working. Keep it up. As much as I hate to call it a night, I'm old and if I'm making breakfast in the morning, then I should get some sleep." She said giving them both a hug, "We can visit more tomorrow."

Alexithymiaa: -Her eyes basically bulged out of her head, swallowing hard and basically hissing at him. "Felix!" She turned back to Rochelle, shaking her head. "You don't have to make breakfast in the morning. I'm usually up early to let the dogs out anyway so I'll put coffee up and start breakfast." Harvey came waddling down the hallway and walked right into the guest room, making a beeline for Rochelle's legs to start rubbing up against her. It's like he understood the word 'breakfast.'-

Covet: "But but.. Mom wants to make breakfast." Felix said with a pout looking at Steph. // "Coffee is good, but don't you dare lift a finger to make breakfast. I've got it, and it will be delicious and healthy for everyone." Rochelle added. She reached down to pet Harvey, "Well hello you, It's not breakfast time yet. Sorry. Okay you kids, go do whatever it is you do this late. I'm ready for some shut eye."
Alexithymiaa: -She opened her mouth to protest before promptly giving up, stepping forward to give her another hug before turning to walk out of the room. "Harvey, leave her alone she's not going to feed you." She headed back down the hall and out into the living room, glancing around until she saw Penny gnawing on a rubber toy in the corner, Nugget not too far off. "Do I get to know any of the pictures you're showing on Thursday?"-
Covet: "Goodnight Mom." Felix said as he walked out of the spare bedroom, then looked at Steph, shaking his head. "Nope, You'll see them on Thursday." He told her with a shit eating grin.
Alexithymiaa: -She leaned over to scoop Ozzy into her arms, turning around to look at Felix and his stupid fucking face. "I know that look. What did you do? Are there pictures of me in the show?"-
Covet: "You have nothing to worry about, I promise." Felix said to her, giving her shoulders a squeeze. "All I need you to do is enjoy the photography. And come climb in bed with me, of course."
Alexithymiaa: -She narrowed her eyes on him. "If there are compromising pictures of me in your show... I will be very upset. Just know that. Especially because people I know are coming. Most of the Kittens said they were going to stop by and support their favorite photographer." She let Ozzy go, walking to grab her phone from the kitchen counter. "Don't make me kill you at your first show."-
Covet: "You're not going to kill me. Just have some patience." Felix said "I invited Cadence too. Kelsey and Brad were invited, but I guess they're going to a party on Thursday night." He said with a shrug then laughed at her, "Don't threaten me, unless you really mean it." He retorted then dove into the bedroom, because them's fighting words.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, it's Noah's birthday. We were invited, but I told him we had plans." She set her jaw, stalking off to the bedroom after him. "Oh yeah, you better run." She basically growled at him. I'm sure there will be some fake wrestling before bed now because he has such a big mouth.-
