  1. Brielle Adrieth was born to an elven mother and a human father. Her mother, a beautiful elf named Aratris with long raven colored hair was seen as a disgrace in the elven community. She had married a mere human, and even worse had decided to bare his child. The human was in awe of her, and worshiped the ground she walked on. When Aratris confessed her love for Rahmar, he was only twenty-five years old. Still youthful, he had dark brown hair and piercing blue eyes. Their love was strong, and not long after they met had decided to join together in matrimony. Rahmar’s own mother performed the ancient ceremony, being the only person who could see past the fact that they were of different races. Shortly after their wedding, they moved to the land of Deepingdale (part of the Dalelands), a place where they would be free from the prejudices against their relationship. Rahmar brought his mother along with them, not wanting to leave her with no one to care for her, as his father had passed not long before.

  3. Months passed by, the two enjoying their peaceful lives together when Aratris discovered she was pregnant with their first child. Rahmar doted on his wife throughout her pregnancy, anxious to meet their child. When Brielle was finally born, her parents were both shocked to see a child with silver hair, very different from their own dark strands. Upon looking closer at the child, they also noticed a faint iridescence to her skin. As the days passed by, they realized that this was a thin sheen of what looked to be scales. Extremely worried, Rahmar showed his mother this strange looking child. She was shocked to see the child’s skin, but she knew what the cause for it was. She followed Rahmar back to the house and sat him and Aratris down, explaining the Adrieth heritage. The Adrieth bloodline consisted of very few people like Brielle, but it happened every few generations. However, for the past 7 generations, this trait had not appeared. They thought it no longer ran through their blood. It was even more rare that Brielle inherited this trait, considering it was usually only the males. Brielle had the blood of Teskulladar, a Silver Dragon that once lived in the same lands they now inhabited. This is what gave her the dragon-like skin, but the hair… No one with the blood of Teskulladar had silver hair. Her parents took this as a sign, their daughter was a special child. Rahmar’s mother told the parents that their daughter would have the gift of magic, and she would grow up to be a Sorceress.

Her silver hair continued to grow, flowing behind her as she ran around her dwelling. She was a happy child, but had a grace to her that neither parent had seen. Even her mother, who was surrounded by graceful and elegant elves was in awe of her daughter. As she aged, the magic continued to flow through her body. She was friendly to all she met, the kindness of the silver dragon always shining through. Once she hit adulthood, Brielle realized that there had to be more out there for her. Though she thoroughly enjoyed her peaceful life with her parents, she knew she could use her magic for a higher purpose… A purpose she wouldn’t find at home. She told her parents of these thoughts, and at first they were against her leaving. But as she talked to them, they realized that their little girl was destined for more. Although they were sad to see her go, they sent her off to find her purpose. Brielle prepared her things, and traveled to a well-known teleportation circle nearby. She could travel across the lands, but she knew that her powers were not at the right level to protect her fully.

  7. She traveled to Waterdeep, hoping that the said “City of Splendors” would provide her with guidance. Perhaps she would be able to find a teacher there who would help her improve her magic skills. For months, she traveled around the city, but still wasn’t convinced that her purpose was there after many leads turned up false. She decided to travel up the Sword Coast, travelling to Neverwinter where she came into encounters with many strange situations, the town’s laws strange and foreign to her.

  9. One morning as she went to explore more of the town, she stepped into the square where a woman was arguing with a guard, fervently searching herself for coins to offer him. As she stepped forward, she could now see that the woman was trying to save a young boy from a severed hand. Feeling a connection with this stranger, someone else who clearly didn’t agree with the harsh laws of the town she stepped forward, gently placing her hand on the woman’s shoulder as she negotiated with the guard, throwing him a few pieces of gold with a sultry smile, flipping her silver flowing hair over her shoulder. She saw the man waver, a small blush coating his cheeks as he released the boy. He ran to the two women, thanking them profusely. Brielle ruffled the boy’s hair, watching with a smile as he ran off.

  11. The woman turned, questioning her about her intentions. She explained that she didn’t agree with the laws here, finding that the woman had the same ideals. As they speak, she finds they have more in common than just that. They had both traveled from afar, and were both trying to find their place in the world. Brielle showed the woman, Nora, her talents, levitating a purple and silver orb as they travelled out of the outskirts of town. She slammed the orb into a nearby tree, creating a large crack in the thick trunk. Convinced that she would be helpful, Nora asked her to join her on her journey, and the two travelled down towards Waterdeep once again.

  13. As the two travelled, a figure was lying on the side of the road. At first approach they thought it was a child, the size of the form very small. As they got closer, they realized this man was in fact a dwarf, a large bump on his head indicating he had probably been knocked unconscious. They quickly approached, bending beside the man and giving his face a splash of water, elevating his head on a bundle of cloth to reduce the swelling on the bump. He woke up quickly, slightly confused as to where he was, but aware enough to tell them some personal information. His name was Travok, and had been chasing dragon cultists with his knightly order. Having no idea what had caused his injury, the two helped him into Waterdeep where they stayed with him as he recovered in the Yawning Portal, a well-known Inn for adventurers. Little did Brielle know she’d soon be making her way closer to the purpose she was searching for, and her newfound companions would be helping her along the way.
