- The Ookami went back to Saifex, with no friends this time. It seemed like he couldn't gather anyone up but the cheerful look on his face suggested that he really didn't care. Instead, he was going to be able to fight again!
- The Ookami took a couple of steps back away from Saifex, and took the blade from his back. It was dingy and messed up, but seemed to get the job done. It was sturdy enough to do something while busted up enough to not do full strength. The Ookami swung the blade over his shoulder and prepared for his most favorite part of sparring...
- ...Life Energy. The eyes of the Zilanderz would close shut, tight and sealed. Burning pain came charging into Val's head, before becoming an energy force. The pain had gone just as it had gone, and had become a different thing. It would become energy known as life energy which would become a pool in Val's mana circuits. The life energy pushed itself outward, and had covered Val's entire body. A burning pain sensation had come again but this time, it was mental. No, it was all real pain. Val wouldn't be able to push it away, and would have to deal with it. He'd have to trudge through this pain like he does daily with the huge amounts of snow on the ground.
- It wasn't like he slipped anymore... Occasionally, but he was more used to it.
- Anyways! Val's eyes had swung open and now he was ready. He had life energy surrounding him which had somehow made the Ookami much stronger and faster than usual. It seemed like the burning pain was only a trade off. However, he was missing one thing. The winds. Val simply brought his hand forth and the calm winds that drifted between both him and Saifex started to speed up. The loose cloth on both competitors, Saifex and Val would start to flow witht he wind. The loose clothing would go everywhere until the winds would direct themselves into Val's direction. Quickly, they surrounded the Ookami and got progressively faster as they did so. The winds finally got themselves onto Val, covering the Ookami in a armor that would shred the enemy into pieces... Or something like that. The winds ruffled the Ookami's hair and his cape, making him create a heroic posture.
- "Ready."
- (Val Zilanderz)
- Saifex came with a grin upon his visage, though he would've preferred it if there were more witnesses on the sidelines to spectate what he'd predict to be his unrecorded victory.
- "It's a shame this isn't going into the training logs. That way I could finally omit the humor and pride you lot take upon your victors over my former self. You are only but the first to come across what I have to offer, feel free to motivate your other family members to train prior to my challenge."
- He was standing with his arms crossed, boasting his slightly hieghtened persona; Hardly 6' 11", signs that he was evidently still growing even now--
- "I hope you're aware that I won't be granting you the mercy of holding back. I want to give you a full gander of the power I've amassed since my humiliation at the hands of you and the others... This time, it changes."
- The expression upon his face faded, no longer showing signs of joyful anticipation, but invoked anger. The grinding sound of his Nivis boots crunching against the tundra's topside, in a prolonged slide for a horse stance stained the air.
- Grit teeth locked, and arms flexed at his sides; Saifex's head lowered some, leaving the immediate surroundings, concerning icy debris to hiss within the radius of an unforeseen potence. A mirage inducing miasma of humidity ascended about his physique, hugging close at first, only to expand for the enviornment about, prejudice to none.
- From pits in the ice, steam spouted upward, but it was without control, for one's affinity did not harbor the capability to bend the elements required to manipulate it to one's ease. The crevices of the Tsuchi's Nivis Armor emanated a light tangerine glow, glistening against the crimson metals in the prelude of a coming mastodon of flames. It was a display of pyromatic mastery, flaring out fires with such potence that it constructed a nigh solidified mass of golden light.
- A true deciding factor to differentiate it's properties from the holy element was it's radiating heat, melting away at the he stepped upon with every confident step he took for his opponent, boasting his capability.
- "...Well, I hope you're ready enough... Because it's going to get alittle hot, from here on out."
- (Saifex Tsuchi)
- The winds did buffet him, slowing his movements, rushing around him to slice away at him at extreme speeds. Winds that he couldn't hope to control, nor resist, regardless of how hard he attempted to evade the coming strkes from Val... Until, it hit him.
- "You know? You should really take a trip to the library, Val." His eyes shifted over towards his left, focusing on the rapidly approaching Ookami, growing a grin upon his face as he done so.
- "Wind... Only makes flames stronger..."
- The pyromancer's aura flared up, expanding to engulf the winds that formerly swallowed him and sustained him hostage. He was transforming the elements that Val bended to his mercy, and turning them into his own weapon. The twister that consumed the pyromancer was captured by it's captor's flames. No longer was the Ookami's obstructing skill working against Saifex, but providing difficulty for one to pierce, in a terraformed fabrication of defence.
- The swoosh of wind, and the cackle of flames tortured the scene, leaving Val as the sole witness to the Tsuchi's achievement. The constant incrementing shouts from within the blazing winds, accompanied with Saifex's silhuoette psuedo-crouched within, powering up the pyrokinetic energy, enfused with the ventimancer's conjuration.
- The climax of his extended battlecry, ended with the explosive combustion of flames in all directions, granting a tsunami effect that swallowed over all forestry, tundra, and debris alike, crafting a bellowing breeze that would easily sweep away Val for several yards of distance. The epilogue of the act, revealed one's shadow standing amongst the venting earth, transformed into his signature state...
- Half-Shift, and standing at an intimidating 9'5, he awaited his opponents follow up...
- "Is that... All you have to offer? Have you been slacking? If this is what the Zilanderz are capable of, I'll be more than anxious to best your fellow kin in battle in the future."
- (Saifex Tsuchi)
- The Zilanderz was finished... For only the first round. The winds did indeed fuel the flames and made Saifex's flames stronger... but that only made the challenge better. And it made Val want to change his batting form. Instead of just charging in, he would be more cautious. This did work for a few seconds, until Val was, ultimately, defeated by huge explosion of flames.
- With His body sprawled on the floor, Val could only try to encourage himself. Which he was slowly doing... Trying to regain spirit. Trying to regain power. Just trying to get back up and fight to his best ability. His opponent was tall... and powerful, but there were always challenges in people who were powerful.
- And challenges were meant to be overcame.
- As soon as this thought crossed Val's head, he immediately knew what to do. Strength began to build back up in Val's muscles which allowed him to push his body back up. The cape that he wore and the little wing that was attached to his armor was all burned up. His armor was banged up pretty badly. The explosion hurt Val really badly, but nothing the Ookami couldn't handle.. He was strong.
- The Ookami picked up his blade, it was burnt and banged up even worse than before. The Ookami ignored this fact though, he was going to use this fight. He had a rule in his heart. Fight to your strongest and let your opponent fight to your strongest. That was rule one. Never kill and allow the opponent to become stronger so that they can fight you to the best of their ability! And that was the very outspoken rule two. Holding this close to his heart, Valw as ready to fight now.
- He had spirit, and he was going to unleash this spirit. Switching his grip on the blade to a backwards style grip, the Ookami held the blade backwards. He bent his knees some but not too much, but enough to lower his height much lower than it used to be. Afterwards, the Ookami's face seemed to shift. It was much more.. wolf like. And snarled. Val's face had seemed to transform into a wolf. However, after a few seconds, the wolf face disappeared and it was regular Val.
- But, then, after another few seconds... Val looked like a wolf. Weird. Not only that, but it seemed like that wolf had launched itself at Saifex. And that wolf face was powerful, like Val. It had speed, but no control. It was similar to Val, and every hit represented Val. This was the Ookami's spirit.
- "Of course I'm not done! The Zilanderz is no family to laugh or joke about because we're one of the strongest! All because of Life Energy!"
- (Val Zilanderz)
- Saifex was keeping his distance, enough to prevent Val from landing any decisive hits.
- "What's the matter, Val? Is that life energy not serving you too well?" Wings swayed downward to bellow winds needed to generate altitude, albeit far from impressive, it was all that was needed to keep himself from the ventimancer's slashes.
- "You, like the others were talking all that good shit earlier. WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL OF THAT?!" Saifex's arms extended forth, fully erect with open palms. At the core of his spread fingers, manifested spheres of golden light. The flames were condensed to such an extent, that they mirrored pure light.
- The conjurations enlarged until breaking the point of critical mass, breaking off into a pillar of saffron light. The stream of pyrokinetic energy made a minor curve, to pit itself for Val. It's trajectory resulted in chunks of tundra ripping up, reduced to mere debris in it's path. An ovular crater shattered away at the terrain, closing in rapidly for it's intended target.
- Contact with such, regardless if it was an attempt to hold it off or fall victim to it's overwhelming embrace, resulting in himself being consumed in the leaning column of destructive energy.
- "WHERE IS IT, NOW?!" The Tsuchi's voice trailed off into the horizon, stretching out to echo in the heat of the moment. This was the climax of the battle... One that would inevitably result in an eruption...
- The explosion would leave one to gave upon a field of flame, within it, two contestants... One standing, another surrounded by flames that refused to take up a lethal meal.
- "...That... Is the power... Of the Tsuchi Clan..... Your kinsmen are next..."
- His body was littered with scratches. Flesh, reddened, and sweat, beaded across his body; His overall facade was brought to a new pique.
- "I have excelled, far beyond what I was prior.... Don't underestimate me."
- (Saifex Tsuchi)

- [21:25:04] Falco: (Saifex sounds like a Basketballer that just dunked infront of a guy's face)
- [21:25:04] Falco: (WHERE'S YOUR DEFENCE NOW)
- (...that was the best OOC statement I've read yet... it deserves place in these logs...)

- ...Ouch. THe Ookami was doing well... until he had tried to cower and fend himself away from the pain. The fire that Saifex unleashed at Val was powerful, and the wolf head that seemed to mimic Valw as doing well... But it didn't put in enough work. It wasn't protecting Val enough and soon enough, the Ookami's resolve had faded. Just as he had tried to cower, the head had dissolved.
- Val's technique did work... Until a huge burst of fire approached from nowhere and blasted Val to bits. Actually, it just worsened the Ookami's armor worse, giving him only a scrap of metal to cover himself with.
- With both his spirits down and his body down, Val couldn't do much. He wanted to get up but he also didn't want to get up. And then, the Drakanite spoke in his booming voice.
- Val simply listened... He didn't have much else to do but listen. However, after everything had been said and done, Val slowly brought his body up. His muscles struggled but he was finally brought back up into a standing position. Burn marks were everywhere, and his whole body was enveloped in singes.
- "You're strong, I told you... But, you're saying that I'm stuck at this level and I can't get any stronger... However, you'll see! Soon enough... I'll be strong enough to create big BOOMS with my sword." The Ookami started to lose balance and struggled. It seemed kind of weird but he regained his balance again, "I'm going to strengthen my life energy... And make an aura out of it! The next time we fight, I'll be much stronger."
- Valw as obviously pumping himself up for a fight AND trying to make himself not seem pitiful. He wasn't all that bad after all.... Right?
- (Val Zilanderz)
- The Tsuchi stood tall and proud as usual, staring down upon his opponent with a condenscending glare. Suddenly, it felt so much differently..
- No longer was he forced to submit with inferiority. No longer was he subjugated by the damning images of defeat. No longer, was laughed upon, spoken down to, nor left under another's boot... This time, he was percieving it through a victor's eyes.... It felt... Great.
- "Train all you'd like... But from here on out, never expect a victory against me." He spoke harshly, with a cold undertone. A glare as frigid as the region itself, but a passion as searing as the sun. Blazing Ambition to ascend was revitalized within the Tsuchi's soul, leaving him with the pep to continue his personal trek to restore his tainted honor.
- "...Heal up, and rest up... You're a mess."
- He was battered, cut up, and even sweating due to his own flames, but he was far from brought to a critical stature. Something had changed since the last time they fought... Was it training? The 'experience' he constantly babbled about time and time again? Or something else, blooming within his person.
- Perhaps, one could never know...
- Saifex was making his leave, disregarding Val in his current state with full expectation that he'd take up his common regimen. As for himself, he'd be heading for the infirmary, if a healer didn't present themselves out for his searching gaze.
