The hosts of PPL and members of the Global Tournaments Team who are not participating (as managers or players) in the tournament will decide who manages. Managers can't play. Assistant managers can't play if they're decided upon before the auction. However, a player purchased in the auction can be made a team's assistant manager.

There will be 6 to 8 teams this year and we will with the chosen manager discuss if retentions will be included. The points system will be: 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss. The metagames played in a tiebreak are: 1 set of RBY OU, and then 1 metagame determined by each manager. RBY 1U will be bo3, all other metagames will be bo1. The hosts will be @FriendOfMrGolem120 and @tjdaas and neither of us will be participating as managers or players. The tiers will be: 2 x RBY OU, 1 x GSC OU, 2 x ADV OU, 1 x DPP OU, 1 x BW OU and 1x ORAS OU. Teams must have at least 12 members (8 starting members + 2 substitutes) and maximum number of players will be discussed with the manager as well. There will be a Midseason Auction, but it will not interrupt the tournament. Signups will open at the start of Week 2/3, the forum auction will happen during Week 3/4, and any players purchased in the Midseason Auction will be permitted to play from Week 4/5 onwards. The auction will happen in the PPL Discord chat, which you can join by clicking [URL='https://discord.gg/kgZkuyA'][B]this[/B][/URL]. In the auction, the minimum bid will be 3k, the minimum increment will be 0.5k, and the total funds will be 100k. Manager sign-ups will close in a week.

For your sign-up, simply post your team name, the name of your assistant manager and any information that you think will increase your chance of getting picked.
