Personality : Tsu is adorably swag. He is this mush of cuteness that tries to be cool. Since he's the rapper he has a badass image that he always stages when in MV's and when performing live. But, when he's at fan meets, at home, or just backstage, he's a four year old. He'll do a lot of aegyo, especially towards the eomma and he'll run around and do random, dumb things. He's a happy child, always wearing a smile on his face. Since he has such a cool and laid back image, some people first see him as introverted and quiet, when he's really a Mexican jumping bean. He's a real pig when eating and he's always hungry. His favorite thing to say is 'onaka suita' in Japanese which translates into 'i'm hungry' in English. He says it in a childish voice every time and every knows they have to get food for him or else. That or else is that he'll be super dramatic about it and make a big scene that the members hate to go through. He'll whine about how his stomach is crying for food and how his stomach is mad at him for not feeding it. After a while of whining, he'll just complain to his members profusely, annoying the hell out of them so they'll agree to buy him food. He's a really good actor. He's super dramatic as you can tell and takes a liking to acting. He's acted in minor roles before but strives for a main role one day. He wishes for a drama that includes the whole group, like Dream Knights or EXO Next Door. Tsu is a really tough guy who can take any hate that's thrown at him. He doesn't give a shit what people say about him and he certainly does curse a lot. But, just because he's tough towards hate, doesn't mean that he doesn't cry over other sad things. He's actually the first one to cry when the group wins awards, watching sad anime moments, watching sad movies or k-dramas. He's a straight up otaku and he loves anime. He binge watches anime more than he does k-dramas. He likes to make a lot of anime references that most of the members have no idea what he's saying. He's a hard-working guy who tries his best to do everything correctly. He's a slight perfectionist when it comes to choreography and rapping. He practices a lot by himself and with the other members. He can be a lazy fuck as well. He's the first one out and is a pain to wake up. He usually loses all his energy after practicing and performing really hard, so he gets super lazy when he's home. Overall, Tsu is a really chill and cool guy with a childish side to him. He can be a dramatic bitch at times, but he's lovable.

Background : Tsu was born in Toyokawa, Japan to a Japanese mother and a Korean father. He was homeschooled from kindergarten to 5th grade because his father didn’t want his only son to be involved in student affairs. He just wanted Tsu to learn in the morning and study the rest of the day. At age 10, Tsu changed. When his mother was done teaching him the lessons (That included learning the Korean language, science, math, history, and language arts) he would be instructed to his bedroom and the door would be shut behind him. His parents would not bother him the rest of the day. Tsu took advantage of that and did what he wanted. Everyday, after his parents footsteps faded down the stairs, he would grab his IPod and headphones and put on some music. Then, he would dance and rap to his heart’s content, but not too loud or his parents would hear. That’s where his love for music and singing begin. After he finished 5th grade and it was ‘summer’ for Tsu he asked his parents if he could take rapping and dancing lessons. His father denied and told him that the whole summer he is to study. But, his mother was persistent, she wanted Tsu to go out and do what he likes. So, his parents made an agreement. Since his dad wanted to move back to his home country of South Korea, his mom agreed that they could move there if he allows Tsu to take rapping and dancing classes. His dad was hesitant, but accepted. After a year of looking for a house in Korea, Tsu and his family moved to a small house in Jeju-do. Tsu started attending a private performing arts school and took rapping, dancing, and acting classes as well as the core subjects. Soon after the start of his junior year, Tsu was scouted for JYP Entertainment when rapping at an underground club. He then started training that same year. After five years of training with JYP, Tsu debuted with the co-ed group, Diversity.
