Pink slimes originate from mountains and plains.

It is unknown when Plink began, Plink herself does not remember, owing to her weak concept of time due to her natural longevity, as well as her natural absentmindedness and proneness to distraction.

All she knows is she left her home in the mountains by following a mysterious traveling merchant who caught her eye, out of the mountains onto the plains land, but became lost when she  was caught outside in a thunderstorm on the open plains.

After wandering through the mysterious storm for days, Plink was taken in by an old crone living in a run down farm house, at the entrance to a woods she hadnt noticed before.

Befriending the crone, Plink determined to pay back her kindness, and ended up working on the farmstead as a maid.

During this time, Plink learned human etiquette and mannerisms, as well as how to speak Common, among other skills, such as cooking. She also picked up the human habit of wearing clothes, but prefers robes due to their concealing nature.

One day, Plink accidentally discovered the Crone was a witch, stumbling in on a spell while cleaning. Startling the Crone and interrupting the spell which, had she been anything other than a slime, would have killed her.

Instead it granted her power over sorcery. The witch, having developed fondness for Plink during their time together, decided to train Plink as best she could in sorcery, given the similarity of their callings.

Though not very intelligent, Plinks natural openness and desire to please and improve herself lended her naturally to the art of sorcery, and she soon discovered she had an affinity with thunder and lightning magic due to her tribes natural affinity to lightning.

One day, there was a loud commotion outside the farmstead and Plink awoke to her home on fire and the Witch no where to be found. Fleeing the flames, Plink fled into the forest, determined to one day find her lost mentor and learn of the mystery behind the fire.
