- Why do you fight?
- For coin, for vengeance, for justice, to become powerful
- What is your reputation?
- Disciplined soldiers, brutal brawlers, cunning strategists
- Start with the following stats and add +1 to two different stats.
- Grasp 2, Force 3, Cunning 0, Influence 2, Wealth 1
- Choose your military organization’s HQ and draw it on the map. Why did they pick this spot? Draw a feature that makes it a good choice. Draw a feature that makes it a poor choice.
- Choose one of the following Assets or create your own:
- A small fleet of airships. Draw your organization’s airport on the map.
- A network of former members in influential military positions. Choose two factions or cities where they are especially prominent.
- Forward operating bases in the wilderness. Draw two on the map.
- Take one of the following Needs or create your own:
- Leadership
- Recruits
- Land
- Draw at least one of the following Landmarks or create your own:
- The site of a bloody and painful battle your organization fought recently
- The base of a rival or hated foe
- A stronghold or dangerous region your organization has never managed to penetrate
- Answer at least one of the following or create your own:
- You have a tense and bloody history. Your organization went to battle against another player’s. When and why?
- Your might is not absolute. Another player’s organization lent yours support at a crucial junction. When and how?
- You have a storied history. Your organization has always been steadfastly loyal to another player’s. Why and how did they demonstrate their loyalty?
- (Optional) Choose one of the following Class spreads or create your own:
- Military Academy: Fortress, Spellblade, Sniper, Tactician
- Mercenary Band: Gunslinger, Assassin, Roughneck, Bard
- Ancient Sect: Blademaster, Swiftfist, Spellbreaker, Keeper of the Flame
- When you create a character in your organization, give them one of the following bonuses:
- Choose two of the following Skills and gain +1 rank in them: Athletics, Acrobatics, Command
- Gain the Teamwork Trait
- Gain the Hardened Trait
- Teamwork: Once a round when you hit a foe with an attack, all allies gain 1 Boon on Accuracy Rolls against that foe for one full round.
- Hardened: You are automatically treated as having taken a Recovery action during each Camp phase.
- Organization Abilities - Start With 1:
- Resilience Training: Characters in this organization have one box of Tenacity they may mark in place of marking any form of Harm. Tenacity is unmarked at the end of an Adventure.
- Battle Instincts: At the beginning of each Combat, characters in this organization may pick one foe and automatically succeed on an Analyze action against that foe as a Free Action.
- Military Inventory: At the beginning of each adventure, characters in this organization gain 3 of the following items, in any combination: Grenade, Smoke Bomb, Fire Oil, Adrenaline Booster
