Many people know of the alien species known as the "Shocksquatch", They who live in a society not unlike that of rural canada with the exception of living under a matriarch. For years they had prisons for many of their most corrupt and dangerous criminals before the advent of discovering space-faring technology. After that point they quickly began to become a staple of the intergalactic community but also began to send their criminals to a neighboring super-planet they had known for having beyond dangerous and nearly inhospitable living conditions due to the megafauna and various other dangerous things that made their home there. That's where our story begins, many among the higher ups of the government there merely assumed that the ones they sent to die there had simply...well died but over the course of thousands of years of this practice....ships began to leave the planet, carrying a strange new humanoid species that resembled themselves but seemed markedly different. As it turns out over the course of these years these criminals had been forced to...evolve over the generations to adapt to this hostile super-planet and...had flourished, spreading out across the planet in a strange facsimile similar to their original home.
