- It is 3,545 A.D. For the last 75 years, the Universe has been unwillingly contracting. The outer rim of the universe has been plagued with a ring of genocidal space terrors that are steadily closing in to converge towards the center, devouring everything and anything within their path. Your character is stationed on Earth. A planet that has approximately one hour at most before its solar system is consumed by the edge of the universe. Fortunately for you, you and several other lucky ones have been given the access required to man one of the many ships in hopes of warp-driving away towards the center of the universe; where a wormhole resides to take you to the next, and hopefully space-terror free universe.
