- [23:36] Kofe nodded a few times to Scarlett. It seemed like he'd be able to get out of it without a problem, but then again... people in love tended to get real upset. And they likely wouldn't listen to reason. Shame.
- "I think it'd be a lot more trouble to do it than not. I bet I probably would end up being hunted by a crazed cannibal at some point. I don't need that kinda thing in my life. Neither does Alice. But..."
- He offered a smile at the girl across the table. How long had they known eachother? Years now. Ever since before the tournament, even.
- "I'm sure you'll find a way to show them they're idiots. You're crafty."
- (Kofe)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:37] Scarlett Kurokaiyo says, "That's if they try something on Dun."
- [23:38] The gaze of the golden-eyered and winged figure would slowly trail over to the Kurokaiyo, though their attention remaining on Xirden for the most part.
- "Aye. Pray be so; I shall do what I can for Theria..."
- Then their gaze would shift to Kofe; before returning back to Scarlett once more. The golden orbs beneath their hood showed no count of emotion; only a blank, searing light.
- "Explain."
- Their gaze would slowly set onto Kofe; towering over the boy. Their form were bulkier, and much, much larger than any in Theria; adamantine armor rippling with plated muscle and ornate design, with a long, bladed stave on their back.
- "Don't call my sister an idiot. Understand, boy?"
- Their gaze shifts back to Scarlett; awaiting a response.
- (Gwyn)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:39] Turning to look at Urlen, Urist would raise an eyebrow. "Aye, the pointy-eared woman seemed T'be fine. What with all her schemin' T'de-heartify her brethren down south." He would say with a solid nod.
- The stout teenager would sigh as he tucked the two bottles away into his bag, saving them for his attempts to brew his own ale back at home. "Can't say I know either O'yer names though."
- (Urist Silverbane)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:41] Oh. That got some attention from someone. His gaze peered in Gwyn's direction before a brow rose up.
- "An idiot? Is she the cannibal or the kid? I mean, the former's more at fault but the kid should also listen, you know? Kinda crazy you'd let your sister marry someone ten years apart anyway."
- Height wasn't something that truly intimidated him. He was Rhoynish. Short for one. He was used to being towered over all of his life.
- (Kofe)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:42] Gwyn says, "My sister will marry whoever she desires. She is a Sluthian; a warrior capable of making her own decisions."
- [23:43] Urlen's eyes went a bit dark. Fae was going to go on a rampage because of his capture. He understood what she fealt. But she didn't need to do anything like that. The human stayed in the snow, sitting, rubbing his head, and catching his breath.
- "Mine's Urlen.."
- His attention slightly shifted to what happened to the side, seemed at least some sort of tension was happening around here. He didn't care at the moment though.
- His eyes shifted back to the ground, a smile on his face. Both him and Fae were alright... Even if what The teen told him was a bit worrying.
- (Urlen Krismenor)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:43] Kofe asks, "Sluthian, huh?"
- [23:44] Kofe says, "Fitting name."
- [23:44] Gwyn asks, "...Excuse me?"
- [23:44] A slight shrug was given to Gwyn, she was just being honest everything else flew over her head other than the marrying a kid while the other was an adult but..?
- "She can do whatever she wants but if... anyone around here goes throwing threats around to my family." She jabs a thumb to Dun.
- "I'll be beating some sense into them, I don't let any of that slide. But regardless I think whatever happened is in the past now so we shouldn't need to worry about that."
- (Scarlett Kurokaiyo)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:44] Kofe says, "You've heard me."
- [23:46] "Aye; Scarlett. And I can say the very same to you. Consider your word's; my words, as well."
- Their arms fold over one another. It were impossible to discern any sort of emotion from their monotone, before once more, their exorcist-cast gaze would befall the Rhoynish boy once more.
- "Explain. I don't understand your words, boy."
- (Gwyn)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:48] "Really? You don't hear it? We're talking about a girl marrying another who's a decade apart— one of which is a kid. And you can't hear what it could possibly mean when you say Sluthian?"
- Kofe seemed baffled. He had expected people in Theria to be different, but this? This was on a whole other level. How could they even condone that?
- (Kofe)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:48] Scarlett coughs a bit.
- (Scarlett Kurokaiyo)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:48] Gwyn says, ". . ."
- [23:48] Urlen Krismenor says, "...Someone's getting maimed..."
- [23:49] "Shut up."
- The smile was washed off his face, and a scowl formed. He didn't have the same brotherly protection that Gwyn had for her sister, but there was palpable anger in these comments against Magne.
- Was it weird? Yeah, but he had more respect for the commander than to throw insults.
- (Xirden Zak)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:53] "Well, nice t'meet yeh Urlen." Urist would reply, scratching at his chin, re-aligning the bristles of his proto-beard. Taking a look over at the brewing argument. The stout youth didn't seem nearly as tense. Threats to Dun were one thing, but he wasn't about to get upset about EVERY argument in Theria.
- (Urist Silverbane)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:55] Not a word touches the figure's lips, though their hand can be slowly gliding towards the edge of the table; an adamantine gauntlet slowly beginning to compress upon the surgace of such, as splinters and fractures would present themselves within the integrity of the wood.
- Oddly enough; the sun began to feel a bit warmer. Almost similar to the heat one may feel as they descend the mountain; only here were something far, far different from this heat; for where one may feel warmth upon their skin? This warmth began to sizzle within the boy's blood, a scorching heat that were beyond typical magic.
- In a moments notice; the table itself were cast aside in a ferocious throw; sent flipping to the side if only to roll a few times, before steps are taken before the boy.
- "I'm going to hurt you, very badly, if you don't start running. Fast."
- It were odd; the tone of the hulking figure's voice. Spoken less out of rage, almost as if it were spoken as one would recite a mere fact of nature.
- (Gwyn)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [00:00] Urist decides to take a quick lap around the table. Just for fun in a game that is traditional to his people, called 'poor pathfinding.'
- (Urist Silverbane)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [00:00] Backing away from a fight? No way. He had been called boy far too many times for that, too. Sure, he hadn't undergone his Rhoynish trial but this? This was a tremendous occasion for him to let off some steam that had been building up and put someone in their rightful place. As it should be.
- Kofe's right hand reached behind his back, pulling around his lute and strumming it forth, unleashing a blast of sound directed at Gwyn quickly and without mercy. One that wouldn't be beautiful for most people— engaging the tall one in the battle in the middle of the city.
- As one does in Ilburg, too.
- (Kofe)

- [00:00] * You have been awarded 1 Roleplay Points! *
- [00:01] Was just folding her arms
- (Scarlett Kurokaiyo)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [00:01] Urlen's steel gaze lazily wandered to the situation at the other table, It looked like the young man was going to be pretty much torn apart by A- Well, Gwyn persona. He still kept sititng in the snow though, back against the boxes behind him. Judging by what he had heart, it was obvious that young man had decided to provoke the big-ass Titan guy.
- He tilted his head to the side, he was happy that he was back around here and was impatient to see Fae again, but he at least would've liked to not see something like this happen first when he came back. Well, too bad.
- It was still happening...
- (Urlen Krismenor)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [00:02] Somewhere in the far distance, an angry dragonlord's fury is felt radiating throughout the city because they aren't using her arena...
- (Nep)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [00:03] Xirden Zak says, "I feel like we should be using the cool arena."
- [00:03] Tepa thinks...is this how everything usually was?
- (Tepa Kamauoha)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [00:03] Scarlett Kurokaiyo says, "Same.."
- [00:03] Tepa Kamauoha asks, "Anyone else feel da' strange fury?"
- [00:03] Urlen Krismenor says, "...The anger in the air tell me that too. "
- [00:04] Urist Silverbane asks, "Aye. S'kind of like a sound, almost. Or maybe a smell?"
- [00:05] Urlen Krismenor says, "All at the same time...Saw her once. Scary dragonlord..."
- [00:06] Righteous. What were righteous, in Theria? In Eternia? The titan had asked themselves such a question endlessly throughout their lives, and still were unable to find such an answer within their mind.
- No; they had given this boy fair warning. A chance to run, and evade this predicament... Gwyn were not one to back down, not even in the face of death. They hadn't in Theria's first revolution, nor any fight.
- Their stave is swung around, raised as if it were a spear, poised for the boy's visage on their retrieval of the lute.
- And so; their fight begins.
- (Gwyn)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [00:09]
- {LOAD GAME}
- [00:12] Kofe says, "I see why you're so tall."
- [00:12] Kofe says, "It's to compensate for being so weak."
- [00:13] {Won Dangerous RPB against Gwyn}
- [00:13] ** Kofe has inflicted an injury upon Gwyn. ("Temporary Injury", "Temporary Injury", "Temporary", "Duration: Medium (4 days)") **
- [00:22] Luneth Veracrucis says, "Oh hey Kofe."
- [00:23] Urlen Krismenor says, "Mnh... snow comfy..."
- [00:23] Scarlett Kurokaiyo says, "Cold."
- [00:24] Urlen Krismenor says, "I like the cold"
- [00:24] Scarlett Kurokaiyo says, "I like the flames."
- [00:24] Urist Silverbane says, "S'better than th'cursed heat down south."
- [00:24] Dun Task says, "The cold is ideal."
- [00:24] Edelaide Reveille whispers something.
- [00:24] Dun Task says, "Keeps my sockets nice and crisp."
- [00:24] Edelaide Reveille whispers something.
- [00:24] Urlen Krismenor says, "Mnh... I still prefer the cold to the scorching heat..."
- [00:24] Luneth Veracrucis says, "I like both. Extreme cold. Extreme heat. They make your spirit strong."
- [00:25] Scarlett Kurokaiyo says, "Meh I'll settle for the heat."
- [00:25] Urlen Krismenor says, "I can live wherever, except the desert or some tropical place.. I jsut prefer the cold."
- [00:26] Urlen Krismenor says, "..:And snow is comfy."
- [00:26] Luneth Veracrucis says, "Come on Scar, show me you got better."
- [00:26] Dun Task whispers something.
- [00:27] Scarlett Kurokaiyo whispers something.
- [00:28] Few were the times when people came up to Kofe and picked more than a verbal fight. While words were his preferred method of battle he still could hold himself up at a respectable level when it came to fighting. Some would even call him strong. Others would point out at his success against just about every opponent he's faced — save for a wraith and a giant rat — across his life.
- Of course, no one would tell of his tale as it were; he was the man who spoke the truth, he who spread stories, the one who showed up to a great happening only to tell of it.
- Fortissimo
- A loud sound came from his lute, strummed with a passion unlike any other. A spectacle to be seen, for sure. It threw Gwyn on their rear, sound and solid, leaving Kofe to approach them slowly, walking across the cobblestone that peppered the city streets.
- "I believe in people fighting battles that are theirs. Not stepping in line for others and allowing honesty to face honesty. Of course... It ain't something you're going to understand with words. Nah, you're way too hard-headed for that. So instead allow me to put it through you in song."
- And so, he strummed forth, slowly walking around the downed Gwyn. A bit humiliating, but it's nothing that wouldn't be fixed without some parental advice, or as it were, sisterly advice. The young man's lips would remain sealed as he allowed the music that came from his lute to tell a message of its own.
- Heart, speaking to a heart. Each and every note attempting to convey emotions in a manner that wasn't all too normal for people, yet, oddly familiar. It was easy to get emotional when hearing a song, or happy; laughing and crying before music's power was within everyone, but conveying a truth one truly believed? That took.. talent.
- His melody would depict not only the shame there was for fighting a battle that wasn't theirs, but also what Kofe believed of Gwyn's sister.
- Fool. Weird. Crazy. Naïve. Badly surrounded. Disturbed. Egoistical. Bratty.
- Those weren't full sentences, nor were they all that shocking for anyone who'd hear this song. The melody, after all, was meant to be shared to everyone in the area. Perhaps the deep trembling of the lower notes would indicate a time of true despair, where the soon-to-be-wed pair would find it difficult to communicate to one another due to their gap in age.
- An attempt to relate a message through music, and music alone.
- Without a real word spoken.
- (Kofe)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [00:36] Turns out Urlen falls asleep sitting in the snow. He was tired, after unning up the mountain all the way.
- (Urlen Krismenor)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [00:40] Luneth watches the last of whatever this was. There was Kofe. He sort of figured, Kofe had the advantage. After all they utilize the same magics, just different applications. Luneth seems to like his illusions more. And it seems to be the main of his magics followed by sound.
- He could understand Kofe better than the rest of the people here; both were musicians. Of course Luneth liked messing around an literally playing music out of this world. But he too could focus on music that affects the mood, soul, spirit, etc.
- Songs that can bring joy. Songs that can bring depression. The power of music is, mostly underrated, ompared to the destruction from other magics. That is until they face either one of the current bards: Kofe, him or Cymbal
- He claps slightly for Kofe. "Well played, Kofe. Well played."
- He clearly refers to the music itself, since he has no idea of the situation between those in the arena.
- (Luneth Veracrucis)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [00:42] The Church bells ring; a symphony within a second skin of metal; a being that were more metal, than man. No; Gwyn were never one for music, preferring the solitude of silence as opposed to their senses overrun by tunes of the like.
- A lifetime of blindness would do that to a man. Similar to throwing sugar in one's eyes; for while sweet, it were blinding none the less.
- Even for a bard of renown; music struck the man's ears like a banshee's wail, near deafening as gauntlets vainly throw themselves upwards to their ears, yelling no longer out of pain; but rage. A deep rooted, seething rage not directed at the man, but at the world itself. A man who's flames burned with ire, and rage at the world itself. Perhaps their self hatred had burned so thoroughly that their flames couldn't help but touch the lands surrounding it.
- "Make it stop..." A voice akin to a growl would utter, before their quaking figure would glare directly at the man. Beneath their hood could be seen a boy identical to Magne; to a discomforting degree. Twins of the identical nature; with sockets that lay empty save for those two, perfect sphere's of glaring holy magic that lock themselves onto Kofe. A face they wouldn't forget, with a tune that failed to remove itself from their mind.
- Smack. Smack. Smack.
- Those gauntlets can be seen battering their ears with strikes from the palm; enough to send their shaking, and their entire form wobbling; blood beginning to flow from their ears.
- Deafened; as their eardrums are ruptured from pure intention. Madness, from a symphony that never did stop.
- "Die, bastard. Go die. You know nothing but your own struggles; and I, my own and my sisters. The torment that the four of us; Alya, Lynette, Magne and I, underwent. You know nothing; and you believe you do."
- "Ignorant bliss."
- The smacking never stopped; gauntlets at the point of tearing through their hood even more, as blood flows rampantly. Not a shred of pain is acknowledged, as dragging Adamantine boots would walk away without further words.
- (Gwyn)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [00:43] Watching the battle happen, it was quite clear who was over powering the other, watching Kofe almost toy with him? though they were both fighting to there hearts content. They were powerful and that was for sure.
- Scarlett found it hard to match up against Kofe sometimes and she had a feeling from the start that Gwyn wouldn't have a chance if he couldn't beat her. The sound waves filling the air it was truly something that couldn't be reckoned with..
- ".. Well this is Theria.."
- Violence, fights and chaos it was Theria for sure.
- (Scarlett Kurokaiyo)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [00:46] "I'm startin' Tae wonder if it ain't the whole family that's stark ravin' mad." Urist would remark with a chuckle. "I mean, Th'didnae seem so bad earlier on, but T'ain't normal T'rip yer own ears up T'avoid hearin' someone mock yeh."
- Though after a long moment he would nod, "Still, good lookin' fight, even if neither O'em thought T'chuck a rock at their opponent."
- (Urist Silverbane)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [00:46] Luneth sheds a fake tear and says, "This brings back memories~"
- (Luneth Veracrucis)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [00:47] Luneth Veracrucis says, "And yeah his ears seem to be pretty hurt."
- [00:47] Dun would nod contently as he leaned lazily against the rocky outcropping, taking an idle drag from his corncob pipe as the timeless jester listened to the symphony of battle with his heightened sense of hearing. Perks of being blind, naturally.
- The arbiter of chaos that he was, the old clown was content merely to enjoy the battle fought, caring little for sides and reasons as long as the righteous intent of violence was borne between the two men's hearts.
- That was the meaning of Theria, after all.
- "A fine chorus, and not even a deadly one. A true musician then."
- (Dun Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [00:48] It's as the song ended that the curtains fell. Kofe pushed his instrument back behind his back and slowly made his way westwards, step after step. The message had been passed, his thoughts on the matter were there. His words? As crushing as that melody.
- "I've struggled my fair share. I've just learned that you can't move forward if you keep looking back."
- From nothing more than a prisoner — a slave to some — to becoming someone who could realistically have a shot at the greatest of all lives; someone who'd be treated like... a royal in the city that seemed to hate him so much when he first arrived.
- A prince of the sands, claiming a daughter of the stars.
- He was never much for titles. Never much for renown. And so?
- "I'm Kofe, not boy."
- He introduced himself as he departed, slowly, through the snow. He'd allow Gwyn to live, to feel, to suffer, and to recover. There was no point in harming a confused soul.
- (Kofe)
