Fallacy of Division in Stats

Most criminals are shown to have low IQs, and yet IQ doesnt have much of a negative correlation with criminality... solution? Criminals are rare, even among the low IQ, so they dont show up in stats

Geniuses can fuck up their lives thanks to emotional issues. But geniuses are rare, they don't matter much for general population statistics

No inconsistency here. People can get rich while being dumb if they are good at entertaining others. Doesn't change much for the majority of people these days, which is why IQ still matters so much for income despite this.

And you kinda do argue SES improves IQ

NFL players are such a small proportion of the population... do you really think studies on income capture them? this is fallacy of division imo. What is true for the whole must be true for all the parts
