  1. Covet: Eli was going over a packet of information that had a grid with a bunch of squares and then a list of times and open time slots. He furrowed his brow, and scratched his head, then looked back in the giant, manilla envelope pulling out the clear plastic ziplock bag that had lanyards attached to cards on them.
  2. Alexithymiaa: -Adam walked by the front counter with an empty box in his arms after restocking some shelves, catching Eli's perplexed look and dropping the box behind the counter. "Everything alright?"-
  3. Covet: "Yeah, Just wondering where my pass is." He said pulling only three lanyards out, laying them on the coffee table, before he went digging again, pulling out a seperately packaged one with his name on it, "Aha! Found it."
  4. Alexithymiaa: "You lost it?" He asked him, leaning down to begin breaking down the box, sticking his foot into it and pulling the sides apart. "Oh, good. You haven't had any more trouble with theft since upping the security, right?"-
  5. Covet: "No, I just wasn't sure where my pass went. Your's Bliss' and Hayley's was packaged sepperately from mine, because I'm a guest speaker." He said, still not really explaining everything that he was looking at. "What? Oh, no thankfully not, though I'm concerned about next weekend since we'll be gone, and it will be a couple of day shift people working the nights for those three days."
  6. Alexithymiaa: "If you don't trust them to be here unsupervised, I could always stay behind if it would make you feel better..." He offered, however ingenuine it was because he did NOT want to stay in Portland while they went off to ComicCon.-
  7. Covet: "Absolutely not. I need my core people there to help run out booth. And besides, I've already got your pass, with your name on it, so I can't let anyone else have it. Plus, you guys all have the vendor passes so that means you're pretty much allowed wherever, unlike the common folk. I'm not letting you miss something like that." Eli said with a laugh.
  8. Covet: *our booth
  9. Alexithymiaa: -Adam smirked, relieved Eli didnt change his mind. "That is pretty cool, isn't it?" He asked rhetorically, walking out from behind the counter with the folded box in his arms. "When did you want to leave?"-
  10. Covet: "We'll probably leave Wednesday morning, cause We'll need to be there opening day." Eli told him. "It is pretty cool, It's going to be a lot bigger than last year, You guys will get to join me in all the cool backstage places, and get to make a lot of connections with fans and other vendors."
  11. Alexithymiaa: "I need to sit down with Hayley and plan some cosplays. Or is that weird considering we're not really going as regular convention guests?" He asked, raising his brows.-
  12. Covet: No no, by all means, dress up. So long as you don't mind being at the shop booth in costume during your time to be there, By the way, You and Hayley are both getting paid for being at Comic Con too, because you'll be helping with the booth." Eli told him.
  13. Alexithymiaa: "Mind being in costume at the booth? No way. That's half the fun of it." He said as he walked over to the chair to take a seat. "We get to go to ComicCon and we get paid for it?"-
  14. Covet: "Yep, I can legally make that happen, because you're working the shop booth, which is an extension of the shop. So pretty much the best working day ever." He said with a chuckle.
  15. Alexithymiaa: "Basically, yeah." He said with a laugh, sweeping his hand back over his hair. "How did I luck out to have such amazing friends, have an awesome job, and have all these cool perks that come with both?"-
  16. Covet: "Good things happen to great people And you're the epitome of great, so with that comes plenty of spoils." Eli told him starting to put everything back into the giant envelope.
  17. Alexithymiaa: "Thanks Eli. That means a lot to me. And my moms are really thankful that I have y'all looking out for me. I am too, of course." He dipped his head in Eli's direction slightly, sending him a warm smile. "I'm really glad I went with my gut to come here."-
  18. Covet: "Happy to help put them at ease, while you're out here. You've got plenty of opporunities to be successful, and anythign I can do to help foster that, I'm happy to do." Eli told him as he got up so he could start doing closing details.
  19. Alexithymiaa: "Well originally when I was applying for schools, I wanted to go to Stanford with my then girlfriend. I changed my mind and decided to come here instead. I'm glad I did." He said with a smile, tossing the box toward the front door to take out when he goes home. He made his way over to the counter, grabbing the spray out from underneath and beginning to spray the surface down.-
  20. Covet: "I don't think you could have picked a more opposite place to go. Though, from what you've said, I kind of understand that and don't blame you at all." Eli said then went about getting the broom to swee up. "I'm glad you came this way too, I think Portland needed a guy like you."
  21. Alexithymiaa: "Oh yeah?" He asked him, grabbing the rag and wiping the counter off. "What exactly is a guy like me?"-
  22. Covet: "A good guy, that doesn't let adversity stand in the way of how he sees the world. Portland could use like five more of you." Eli said as he went about making a pile of dut.
  23. Covet: *dust
  24. Alexithymiaa: "Thanks Eli. That means a lot to hear you say that. Especially since I feel the same way about you." (KISSSSSSS) He stowed the rag and the spray underneath the counter before moving to the computer to begin signing himself out and whatnot. "You're one of the best friends I've ever had."-
  25. Covet: [It's like Bliss is here in spirit XD]
  26. Alexithymiaa: (bahahahaha)
  27. Covet: "Yeah, you're one of mine too. If you're ready, feel free to head out, I can finish closing up for the night. " Eli told him as he got the pile of dust swept up and put it into the trash.
  28. Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, I'm good." He said, clocking himself out and heading toward the door. "I'll see you tomorrow." He leaned down to grab the box on his way out, tossing it into the dumpster before he headed home.-
