Character Name: Erdwick Brightstar

Skill/Transformation: Weapon Soul Tier 5 and Ascension 1

Reasoning:
1. Erdwick had gone on the initial mission in Hops and together with Cellerin, Tak and Lettus attempted to route and capture one of the primary targets, Sui Choi.   Unfortunately for them, they failed in their endeavor and due to their overzealous attempt, they all ended up defeated by her and Tak was killed.  Worse yet, Yeqin sacrificed her own safety and freedom to save them.
2.  Erdwick feels very guilty about the whole affair, and knowing what Yeqin means to Pak Choi, he knows that he bares quite a bit of responsibility in not backing off as ordered to if things got hairy and the fact that he simply wasn't strong enough, though they came close.
3.  He wants to make up for it in anyway possible, so he wants to dedicate himself to furthering his mastery over Weapon Soul and bettering himself.
4. He remembers the words of Sherbert in regards to one particular legendary blade known as the Sword of Hope, something he resonates with.   He knows he can't let himself dwell on mistakes of the past.  He can only continue to grow as a person and swordsman and continue to hope that things will work out with enough effort and determination.
