- The bindings at her feet had been undone. Reika stood up, looked at her right hand, and frowned.
- The wound on her right hand had been stitched up, but by methods which were somewhat too crude. A black thread creeped about haphazardly like an earthworm, and it was dubious whether the wound had really been closed.
- But the blood had stopped... and she was no longer in pain.
- "Well, I guess it's fine as long as it doesn't hurt."
