  1. CARLO GAMBINO (SUPERPYRO) CHIEF OF ROCKFORD POLICE DEPARTMENT APPLICATION:
  2. QUESTION: "WRITE ME A 4-6 SENTENCE PARAGRAPH ABOUT YOU REGARDING WHY YOU BELIEVE YOU'D BE A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR CHIEF OF POLICE"
  3.
  4. I'm a very energetic and well-rounded person who can follow instructions well. I'm a good communicator and team player. At the last department I was with, I initiated many new things for the department to make it better and caused a significant rise in recruitment for the department. It had such a positive impact that they kept on using it all. when I was interacting with community residents, making sure I was able to meet their needs and giving them the best possible comfort in a tough situation. It was my favorite part of the job, and it showed. Part of the reason I'm interested in this job is that I know I'd have even more interaction with the public, on an even more critical level. I'd like to have an even better understanding of what it takes to be a great chief. I feel as if I am the best current candidate for this position so I will be able to use such training and knowledge in the future. Also, I really enjoy being the first to a scene, and I work very well under pressure. I can be an amazing team leader and help those in need. Ultimately, I'd like to be in a great position for the city, where I can use my organizational skills and industry knowledge to benefit the people working with me, and those we are there to help. A list of my strengths are trustworthiness, responsible, respect, loyalty, honesty, empathy, teamwork, and communication. I only have one weakness and that is I am extremely efficient, meaning I need everything to be perfect and I hate when people waste my time, but it sometimes is good because I always get things done and done on time. I've been a law enforcement officer for the past few years. My previous departments has said time and time again that without me, the department wouldn't function as well as it currently does. I've also taken the time to educate myself on some of the non-standard techniques that may come in handy while on duty. I can react quickly in hectic situations, and can handle the responsibilities of a leadership role. What's good enough for most people is never really good enough for me.
  5. --Thank you for reading and I hope you choose me as your chief!
