Fairly Odd Parents

Alexithymiaa: -Steph haad stolen a pair of Felix's sweats to lounge in because they're way more comfortable than her own pants. Rolling up the right leg, she had an ice pack strapped to her knee with her notebook sitting in her lap open to a clean page with only 'Untilted' written across the top margin. She'd fallen asleep amongst the pillows with the tv on, Isley curled up next to her completely out cold also. On the floor was Nugget gnawing on one of the flip flops she'd left next to the couch.-
Covet: Felix had also dozed off on the couch falling alseep to whatever had been playing on the TV at the time. He felt a vibration underneath them and stirred a little. Trying to ignore it because dammit he was comfortable, he finally gave a groan and pulled his phone out from under them trying not to disturb Steph. He frowned and groaned while struggling to find it and was going to have to get up.
Alexithymiaa: -Feeling the vibration, she stirred a little, her haand moving to rub at her face with her eyes still closed, trying to ignore the phone in the groggy state.-
Covet: He got up, shifting Steph as little as possible, then grabbed his phone have burried in the cushions. Pulling it up to his ear he rubbed his head and blinked a couple of times, pulling at his hair. "Hello? Oh... Hi? Huh? Yeah yeah, that's cool. We were just being lazy and napping on the couch." He said ending his sentence in a yawn. "We will be lively when you get here." He said turning off his phone, then he leaned over to give Steph a kiss. "Hey, wake up. Cadence is on her way over."
Alexithymiaa: -She stirred again when he kissed her and spoke, a small whine escaping her throat as she turned away from him, trying to go back to the nice sleep place. Her notebook slipped off her lap with her pencil, sliding onto the couch along with the ice pack she had on her knee.-
Covet: Felix looked at her and laughed, then grabbed her stuff and went to move it to the island. He walked over to the freezer and put the ice pack back in there, then opened the fridge and pulled out his apple juice and poured himself a glass, grabbing a water bottle for Steph when he put it back. He went over and set them on the table, going to give Steph another nudge. "The dogs are going to give you a rude awakening when she gets here, I'm trying to make this nice, Missy. Get up, don't make me get mean."
Alexithymiaa: -She stirred and whined again, this time prying her eyes open to look at him through narrow slits. "You're so loud." She said in a raspy voice, lifting her head off the pillow and letting out a deep sigh, rubbing at her face again. "Where's my notebook?" She asked, sliding her hand over the couch.-
Covet: "I'm sorry, but we have a couple of visitors coming over." He said to her, "I moved it over to the island where it's safe. Here this will help wake you up." He told her reaching over for the water bottle. // Cadence pulled into the drive way and parked, then climbed up into the back to get Trick out, wrapping him up in a blanket as she closed the door and started up to the front door. She knocked hard a couple of times and waited, holding Trick against herself, doing the shushing thing.
Alexithymiaa: -She took the water from him and cracked it open, taking a small sip and flinching when Cadence knocked, the barking starting in immediately. "I haven't even started my creative writing assignment..." She mumbled, pushing up to her feet and dragging herself toward the door as she yawned. Pulling the door open for Cadence and trick, she waved them in. "I'm tired."-
Covet: "Well you got a nap in, so you might be able to still get it done." Felix said as he went for his juice taking a drink as he rubbed his eyes, "Penny, Nugget.. We know.. give it a break..." He said. // Cadence smiled and put her hand over Trick's ears, though he slept through their dogs barking, so this wasn't much different for him. "I'm sorry for waking you up. I just got back from the airport and I have something to tell you both." She said with a smile.
Alexithymiaa: -She shut the door behind Cadence after she walked in, kind of just all around cranky right now. She started over for the kitchen, setting the water down on the counter and grabbing for the teapot to fill it in the sink. "....something that couldn't wait until tomorrow?" She asked with a slight attitude, moving the teapot to the stove to boil the water.-
Covet: Felix gave a chuckle at Steph's mood. "She's like a grumpy bear right now.. I tried to get her to wake up gently." He said with a laugh. "What's up?" He asked. // Cadence scoffed, "No it couldn't wait until tomorrow. Because We have class tomorrow. But...I'm hoping.. that you'll both be game for this.....BUT... I was wondering if you guys would be game for being Trick's God Parents." She said still holding the baby rocking him.
Alexithymiaa: "I am not." She shot back at Felix, crossing her arms over her chest which was a sure sign of proving him right. When Cadence asked them to be Trick's god parents she gawked at her, blinking a handful of times before stammering out her words. "But... isn't that... I mean... only for people that do church things?" She asked, stepping over toward Cadence and craddling her hand around Trick's head.-
Covet: "But I'm not a fairy..." Felix said furrowing his brow as he looked at Cadence. // "No, I mean, it is for me, but you guys don't have to be church goers in order to be god parents." She said. "Remy and I are doing a Baptism, and a Bris. We're kind of doing this other thing for Tyler and Hayley for that , but Trick's Aunt and future Uncle definitely get dibs on the spot for God Parents."
Alexithymiaa: "You definitely are a fairy." She called over her shoulder aat him before returning her attention to Cadence and Trick. "I'd love to be Trick's godmother." She said, her mood clearly perking up. "What exactly do I have to do?"-
Covet: "Hey! Just because I like Pink... means Nothing." He said with a laugh. "Sure, I'd be alright with doing that." // Cadence smiled, "And you'll be the best Godmother ever." She said, "Well, other than being there for the christening, you just have to read this thing and sign a paper. Then if something happens to me or Remy, You'll be entrusted to be a more...important part of his life. And then you're supposed to be another guiding hand for him. Which.. you already do so how hard is that?"
Alexithymiaa: "Not hard at all." She said with a smile, turning to walk back to the stove to get the teapot off the burner. "Tea?" She asked both of them, lifting herself up to kneel on her left knee on the counter so she could get mugs down. "When were you guys thinking of having the christening?"-
CovetCovet : "No I don't want any of your dirty water." Felix said even though he knew that wasn't directed at him. // "Sure, Thats sounds good. Probably in the next month or so. I've got to talk to the Father at my old church and see when he can fit us in. I'd like to before christmas though." She said with a smile.
Alexithymiaa: -She grabbed a mug for Cadence to set on the counter before hopping down and dropping a tea bag into each mug, filling both with hot water. "Drink your apple pee and shut up." She said to him, turning to push Cadence's mug across the island in her direction. "That works. As long as you tell us when and where, you know we'll be there." She shot Felix a look, trying to get him to be a little more enthusiastic about this.-
Covet: "I will. It is delicious." He said sticking his tongue out. Then he saw her look and raised his eyebrow. Then looked over to Cadence, "Yeah, I'd be happy to be a guiding force for the kid." He said with a smile. "We'll be there whenever we're needed." // Cadence smiled, "You guys are the best. Thank you so much. You guys already do so much for us."
Alexithymiaa: -She smiled when Felix took the hint, pleased with her GROOMING. She walked over and gaave him a quick kiss on the cheek before taking a sip of her tea. "We want to help you. Especially because you're doing a lot of this alone right now. It's only a little selfish that I get to see Trick so often. And nine times out of ten, it goes really well. Friday was like the one time I had trouble getting him to stop crying."-
Covet: Felix leaned into her kiss, then nodded, "That was kind of my fault though for forgetting about leaving the alarm code." // Cadence smiled a little and gave a bit of a weary look. "He's had a couple of times with me that were rough. I had to call Remy at 4am one morning on skype to sing to him."

Alexithymiaa: "My lack of composure didn't help." She added before smiling. "He does like being sang to. You know... you don't need to call Remy for that. I don't think he'll mind if you're the one to sing to him when he's fussy."-
Covet: "That's actually kind of cute." He said with a smirk, taking a drink of his apple juice. // Cadence gave a soft laugh, "Oh I tried... I tried to the point where all I as doing was crying in a really bad harmony. It was a rough night. But we had a good weekend in Jersey."
Alexithymiaa: "I'm glad." She took another sip of her tea and set the mug down on the counter, watching Alfred walk over to Cadence to rub up on her. One of the few people Alfred actually likes. Alfred is jealous of Felix. THATS HIS BED, NOT YOURS. "Bryan and CJ are actually coming in next week to do wedding stuff."-
Covet: "Yeah, he seems to think his wedding is going to be better than mine and Steph's. I didn't realize there was a competition." Felix said. // Cadence laughed, "Robinsons. That's okay, I'm sure both of them are going to be wonderful." She looked down at Alfred, "I'd pet you buddy, but I've got the baby, so you'll have to just suffice with rubs."
Alexithymiaa: "Everything is a competition. He just doesnt realize he's the only one competing. We haven't even so much as thought about what we would want yet. Bryan's going to think that because his wedding is bigger and more expensive that it automatically makes it better, but honestly that sounds kind of awful. I wouldn't want to spend my entire day worrying about everything and then my entire night making sure I've greeted every single one of my three hundred guests. I'm going to worry enough without intentionally putting myself in that situation." She slipped her arm around Felix's bag, leaning her head against him.-
Covet: Felix held her close. "I don't have a whole lot of family anyways Mom, brother, One set of Grandparents that live in a Retirement village in Pheonix." He said with a shrug. "That and Steph are all I need." // Cadence smiled, "I was kind of the same way. Most of my side was all friends. But I wouldn't have had it any other way." She finished off her tea and looked down at Trick, "I should get us the rest of the way home so I can get him down and get our suitcase out of the car. Thanks for letting me stop by though." She said with a smile. "And thank you for being his God Parents."
Alexithymiaa: "And I don't have a whole lot of family that are actually going to be invited." She said with a small laugh, stepping over to give Trick a kiss on the head. "Okay, goodnight babbyyy. I love you." She said and gave him another kiss. "Of course. I'm excited. Thank you for stopping by."-
Covet: Felix gave a shrug, "See we're kidn of perfect for each other." He said with a laugh. Drive home safe, goodnight." // Cadence waited until Steph was done then started for the door. "Sure thing. I'll see you guys tomorrow for the baby swap." She said as she walked out the door.
Alexithymiaa: -She waved to Cadence on her way out, waiting for the door to click shut before turning to look at Felix. "You understand what this means, right? That we'd potentially have custody of Trick if something happened to both of them?"-
Covet: Felix looked at her and nodded, "I know, but I don't really plan for or forsee that happening. So until it happens, I'm not going to worry." He told her pressing a kiss to her head. "I don't have an issue with kids."
Alexithymiaa: "Well of course we don't plan on that happening, but even still." She paused, chewing on the inside of her cheek. "...with someone else's kids." She corrected, because this was still a bitter subject for her. Picking up her mug, she finished her tea, walking the mug to the sink to rinse out.-
Covet: Felix gave a sigh and just kind of dropped his head as she turned from him and put her mug in the sink. He finished off his juice and followed suit, walking over to the door to make sure the locks were all set and what not before heading to the bedroom. He really didn't know what to say in this instance right now.
Alexithymiaa: -She took a deep breath and set the mug in the drainboard, collecting herself because it was bed time and not discussion time. Grabbing her notebook from the counter, she looked down at Alfred. "Stop it. Come on." She said as he followed her into the bedroom to go get into bed. And he definitely strictly lays on her side.-
