Gaiaverse Episode 2

The twins enter Celanto Path, the first of many routes for them to traverse on as they begin their journey...Rhiannon is smiling with a confident stride to her step as Jalen meanwhile have his hands in is jacket with a calm look..surveying everything around themselves.. While Rhiannon seems to be willling to catch whatever comes to her mind on the spot, Jalen already envisioned what kind of team he wanted...

Jalen believed that he should get a Water and Grass mon to balance out his Chimchar's weaknesses and strengths..as for WHAT mons he should get...he thought about Starmie, Cloyster, Milotic, Carracosta, and Gyarados for Water Pokemon...All of whom he consider to be great mons..Grass...well, grass isn't a type he is particular fond of, but he knows that with the abundance of Water mons out there, he would need something to ward them off....

Tangrowth, Roserade, Ferrothorn, Breloom, Lilligant, and even Exeggutor would be great fits for his team...He got plenty of time to worry about that in the future. As for the other members, He knows for sure that he will get a bird Pokemon and what better bird for him than the likes of Staraptor? One of his favorite mons ever(Rin disagree on it, calling it an edgy bird with a lame mohawk, which Jalen vehemently argues against to this day.) and is common as a Starly.

He's sure he will catch one of those early on...as for another mon...he knows that he will need a special powerhouse and figures that the likes of Gengar will do the trick since it can use other moves besides STAB...probably be his 'electric' mon if needed to be.

The last is reserved for a Psuedo-Legendary and honestly...he don't know between Hydreigon, Salamence, or Tyranitar...

Hydreigon is the more balanced one of the trio with almost no stat-weaknesses unless one would consider that it doesn't excel in anything like it's brethren...It also takes almost forever to get one due to the species taking the longest to evolve...

Salamence is a fast mixed sweeper with a ferocious attitude and can also mega evolve to a more powerful form which many professionals are considering banning in the official pokemon league, which he wouldn't mind cause it's fucking crazy-strong..It also reaches it's full stage the earliest.

Tyrantiar was a Pokemon he didn't think much of until he saw a battle where one made a 3v1 comeback with a strat that Rin told him was called BOAH, a old set that the foe wasn't prepare for..Now Jalen don't wanna build his like so...but the mon was very cool in battle...
Jalen sighs as he and Rin walk up the hill together, coming out of his thoughts just in time as Rin turn around and speaks.

"Yo, what kind of mons you looking out for?.....Damn, you seem to have thought this out, huh?,,,As for me...I dunno, I prefer to catch them as I see them...I was never really one who thought out teams like you do."

She stretches as she reach the top of the hill and see Archan Town in the distance..and between them are a handful of trainers scatter about battling..

"Hmmm...We better do some battling before we get to the next town...Gotta get stronger, ya know?"
Jalen nods in agreement as he watches Rin walk towards a girl with the title [LASS] over her head and get in a battle with her Turtwig vs the Lass's Bidoof..

Jalen turn around and soon lock eyes with a lad with [YOUNGSTER] over his head and see a "!" shine as well. The boy soon walk over with a confident smirk and pull a Pokeball out.

"Our eyes have met! You cannot deny my challenge!!"
Jalen COULD if he want, but that would means he would have Chimchar miss out on the experience as he get his Pokeball ready.

[YOUNGSTER Jerry would like to battle!!!]
Jerry sends out a Pidgey that land on the field whereas Jalen scan it and see that it's a mere level 3 to Chimchar's lvl 6...
Out comes Chimchar who is ready to fight and after Jalen selects "Scratch" jumps towards the Pidgey and land a critical hit on it, KOing it as it flops on the ground.

"What?!? No way!"
Jerry groans as he mumbles to himself and hand over some money to Jalen who pocket it. Chimchar jumps on his shoulder as they turn around and lock eyes with a [LASS] who walk towards them.

"Heh, I saw that battle you did against that lad...I'll be different!"

[LASS Daisy would like to battle!!]

Daisy giggles as she throws out a Pokeball that reveal a Rattata of the kanto variant which is pure normal. Chimchar nods as he jumps off of Jalen's shoulder and shouts at his foe, ready for combat.

[->Fight, Item,Run, PKMN]

[->Scratch   Growl]

[Chimchar used Scratch!!!]
Chimchar jumps up again and come down with his right hand to scratch at the Rattata, unlike the Pidgey, he didn't crit it, but he brought it down to half it's health judging by how it look to be in pain.

[Foe's Rattata used Tackle!]
Rattata goes by it's trainer's orders and tries to slam into Chimchar, but he somersault over it and land behind it with a cocky grin.

These messages were a bit annoying, but funny to read for Jalen as he repeat the same command with Chimchar ending the fight with a swipe on the nose..

"Eek! You're stronger than I thought!"
She hands him the money for winning and run off as Jalen look at Chimchar and see that not only had he went to lvl 7 from that last battle, but...

[Chimchar learned Ember!]
He smiles and nods as he return his monkey just as Rhiannon come up to him with a smirk and spinning Turtwig's Pokeball.

"Yo, My boy here just asserted his dominance on many trainer here....Yh, they couldn't do shit to him! He's a tough lil cookie! How did Chimchar do?" She look at him with a small smile.

"Damn, he didn't get hit at all and scored a crit? What a fucking champ...Well!"
She look at Archan Town in the distance...

"Shall we move on?"
Jalen agrees as the two of them walk side-by-side to the next town...unaware that a blue-haired girl was watching them from afar, or rather...she was watching Jalen with a look of calculation registering on her face...
