  1. Here's the campaign I am thinking up; In the sprawling, metropolitan city of Vashindale, there is, or was. a gang of Kobolds whom lived and essentially kept to themselves, they lived in the crypts and the sewer's of Vashindale, essentially eking out a meager living under a wise chieftain, who's intention was to not be exterminated like vermin, so his people are usually more respected then most. as there actions presented themselves as non-threatening, cheap labor. They lived in slums, sure, but they weren't thieves and bad apples where gone post haste.
  2.
  3. But everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked.
  4.
  5. The Chieftain had 2 Twin sons, who, after his death. Decided it'd be better to wage a war among themselves for power, the city itself thought little, but now the Kobolds run raids on the surface for supplies, and have many skirmishes topside. The council could not stand for this, and mobilized the city guards and local adventurers for the task of eliminating them.
  6.
  7. But fear not, for the most virtuous and respected of the Kobolds, a one Kesh'eek. A Kobold of humble beginnings who left her tribe to live in the church topside, becoming a Cleric, while some would say Atheistic, she is spiritual and her teachings help keep the Kobold population in check, she's helped deliver eggs, help raise young and heal others, simply put, she's done no wrong and has proved herself on multiple occasions.
  8.
  9. She couldn't bare to see her people exterminated, they where more then just Vermin, she's helped deliver eggs on multiple occasions, and her family still lives within the bottom, even if the council has promised to only get rid of the particularly hostile soldiers, and those that instigated the war.
  10.
  11. So she made a plea deal, she'll bring adventurers to help stop the civil war, before the city drops into bedlam and the entire underground is turned to a grave, simple. she was givin' some platinum funds to hire some adventurers, and through her connections she doth bring them in.
  12.
  13. Within the underground the two Kobolds gangs frequently fight, even if they are simple 3 on 3 skirmishes, the Crypt Crawlers and the Bone Gnashers, where there names, each one ran by a son of the former Chief. while they still believed in the virtues of there father, they believed in in... very different ways, so different, that it's now escalated and there fathers wishes, to rule side by side. Is sadly no longer possible.
  14.
  15. Kesh'eek doesn't want to see such things transpire, so the intention of the adventurers she is going to bring in, is to stop the war, by removing the chiefs in a peaceful way (will most likely not be peaceful.) If all else fails, the Chiefs will be removed, using her respected position to make an attempt on her life, she prays, oh does she pray, to whatever beings above that may see her as virtuous, to please allow this to end with no more blood shed.
  16.
  17. Q: What's the City like?
  18.
  19. It's a relatively wealthy city with cobblestone roads and Brick and mortar buildings, it has a low population of slum dwelling presents, and is Victorian in how the people look, The city Garrison is usually Chain mail wearers with basic training and a Sword and shield, the ranged garrison carries Musket Rifles, primitive and heavy.
  20.
  21. Society is predominately Human with a Large population of Elves and a arguably equal population of Half Elves, Other races are usually bound to whatever calling they are suited for, Half-orcs with Labour, and Dwarves as Smithes.
  22.
  23. Vashindales school for magical arts, host a wide and expansive set of Magical goods, as well as enchanted goods. while they are quite expensive. They are professionally made by the Academy's trained Sorcerer and Wizard Population.
  24.
  25. The city's fortune comes from regulated and heavily priced illicit goods, drugs, alcohol and prostitution of many and races and genders are rent able for a specific price, and requires consent from both parties, there are many reagents located in Alchemical shops and the Academy that could be made into potent poisons, but they are also usable in medical and recreational use. You need a written prescription from a professor of magical arts or a high ranking cleric of the church, to acquire these materials.
  26.
  27. Q: How big is the City, How close is it to an Ocean or Large body of water?
  28.
  29. A: Big enough to house an entire Kingdom of Kobolds. Land locked with the sewage system running through a arcane purifier and then into a River, where it circles back to a lake and then back into the city via some Pumps, the Lake itself is prided for it's rare species of fish that are located there, while the fish themselves aren't any special, there meat is tasty and is very Mild, Pormorial Cod. Is it's called.
  30.
  31. Pormorial Cod is identifiable by its Bio-luminescance, It glows Blue and has whiskers, A bar within the City called The Stuck Pig has some Fried Cod with a side of Corn and Yams that the populace really likes, mostly because they also sell regulated drugs, and fish is really appetizing when you're High and Hungry.
