for multiple months there were grumpy voices of the 'official' Longcheng CN->KR localization quality in general being on par with crappy machine translation and creaky handling of offline affairs.

the dude was allegedly hired as an outsource PR/offline coordinator after Longcheng stupidly decided to release Sten Mk. II's wedding skin as a diamond package when the said skin was actually given out for free to all CN server users a while back
clump together how when Yuzhong visited Korea in an interview he said it'd be inappropriate to release tactical fairies in such a young server like KR as it'd look like the devs are pushing a Pay-2-Win environment, but then very soon Longcheng pushes it into the game well before Deep Dive

after much backlash and players threatening to quit Sten wedding skin was given for free
hired dude sees this as a business opportunity and according to the allegations he plots to prove and conserve his usefulness to XD Global (=Longcheng) by intentionally letting unrest and mistakes go unchecked then stepping in later, packaging himself as a god-send problem solver
he also begins pressuring other outsourced localization team to do the same, also by intentionally dumbing down the localization quality  or slowing down the progress, creating binding reason for XD G to keep them on payroll

after digging through internet footprints folks found out that this same attention whore was seen doing something similar on other games, manipulating the demand of him to be higher by doing backhand deals or throwing in unrest
if and only if this is actually real, this would confirm the rumors of actual sloppy checks and balances done by XD Global, not having backup contingency plans or watchdogs overseeing quality control using multiple layers but instead only relying on one single input

the localization team's latest project (they've been working on official KR server translation for a while now) was translating Girls Frontline Artbook currently being released in Korea

it remains to be seen whether the translation quality is indeed dumpster crap level in the artbook

judging by what they've said in public, at least half of the localization team has been riddled with arrogance, loose lips, and unprofessional conduct
what we're seeing now seems to be a whistleblower from the inside, assuming all of this is true, ofc

I'd like to not type out that long wall of text again. someone apparently sent in a mail to XD Global but due to the nature of this semi-annonymous board this can be total bullshit and he didn't send in anything at all. the writer claims he's been living overseas for a long time but I personally think this is bull as the e-mail quality is something you'd write when you haven't even spent over a year outside Korea
only legit contact would be reaching Phantania at this point, at least in my perspective, but I'm not so sure if this is something that should be done when it's like 11PM on a friggen Sunday
