  1. We Bare Cafes Ch. 1
  2.
  3. The 3 brothers got separated. While wandering around the town, they enter an unknown part of it and get lost. While finding a way out, Grizz saw something that caught his eye and told his brothers that he’d be back for them however, they seemed to have not have heard it leading to Grizz getting separated. As Panda and Ice looked for him, they accidentally enter a rush hour. Panda is whisked away from his younger brothers grip and somehow, enters a train. At the same time, Ice was pushed into another train.
  4.
  5. Now all 3 are lost, how will they find each other?
  6.
  7. —————————————————————————————————————-
  8. Pa. - Po.
  9.
  10. “Ughh! Just where did they go?!”
  11.
  12. Panda thought to himself, lost in a state of confusion and fatigue from looking tirelessly for his two brothers.
  13.
  14. “Of all the things that could happen, THIS is what I end up with”
  15.
  16. Panda murmured to himself. What could he do? He was walking aimlessly through a part of the city he’s never been in not to mention that the sun was almost setting and even his phone has now, ran out of power. He was lost and he had no idea where in the world the other two were either. This was probably Panda’s worst day.
  17.
  18. He continued to walk on the sidewalk, passing structure by structure until he arrived at a the front of a place that looked more interesting than others. It was a clean structure with a beautiful garden that lead to it’s entrance. The building was adorned with a enchanting blue roof and pastel yellow walls. The small path that lead to the entrance was accessorized by it’s brick features and a wide range.
  19.
  20. “Oh, now what’s this place?”
  21.
  22. His face lit up slightly. He had wanted to take a drink for a while now, his throat was dry and he was severely exhausted from his voyage.
  23.
  24. He looked at the sign that held the name of the cafe.
  25.
  26. “Polar Bear’s Cafe… so someone like my brother owns the place then?”
  27.
  28. He hasn’t seen any other polar bears other than his brother and the one that works at the San Francisco Zoo. It was rare to see any other ones, same goes for all animals.
  29.
  30. “I’ll just… rest here for now”
  31.
  32. He walked along the brick path and opened the door. At the same time, a small chime rang through the cafe, alerting the staff of the new customer that was Panda.
  33.
  34. ‘Hello”
  35.
  36. “Welcome to Polar Bear’s Cafe…”
  37.
  38. A voice welcomed as he entered the cafe, although, at the last part, it seemed to have slowed down, saying that the speaker is somewhat confused.
  39.
  40. He saw a Polar Bear behind the counter look at him a bit awkwardly, as if trying to process who this was. Not that Panda wasn’t doing the same though, It was, after all, another Polar Bear, it was just like his little brother was staring at him. The only difference was that this Polar Bear was taller and had a few garments on.
  41.
  42. Once Panda turned his direction to somewhere else as to not prolong awkwardness, he noticed a Penguin on a stool and a female waitress with braids standing by a table staring at him the exact same way the polar bear had, as if trying to process who he was.
  43.
  44. This was weird.
  45.
  46. —————————————————————————————————————-
  47. Gri. - Pa.
  48.
  49. Grizz was lost, he ran through every street in town, every nook, every cranny, everything! He’s been looking since this morning and the sun was now setting. This is the most lost situation he’s ever been in. He could not find his brothers. He was tired and he was sweating profusely. He couldn’t help but feel responsible for them being lost, It was his duty as the eldest to take care of them yet he let this catastrophe happen.
  50.
  51. “Panda! Brother! Where are you!?”
  52.
  53. He shouted as the voice echoed through the streets.
  54.
  55. “Augh! I’m a terrible older brother, I should’ve payed more attention to them!”
  56.
  57. He continued to walk/run throughout the place until he finally couldn’t deal with the fatigue. He sat down on the sidewalk and holed himself up. The grizzly bear continued to beat himself up over the problem at hand.
  58.
  59. “…Where are you guys… please be safe, Please, PLEASE be safe, Don’t leave me here…”
  60.
  61. He looked up and began daydreaming about where they could be. Panda would most likely be somewhere he could rest, somewhere that he could just relax and sit. Maybe a froyo corner, a cafe, a park just as long as it fit with that description. Meanwhile, The youngest brother could most likely be somewhere cold or air conditioned. he’d most likely be somewhere more risky than Panda, somewhere more… fierce.
  62.
  63. “Huh… I wonder where they are, please be safe you guys”
  64.
  65. He stared into the sky, just wondering how those two were faring. Just then…
  66.
  67. “Ahh, I wonder how how Polar Bear and Penguin-san are dong right now?”
  68.
  69. A voice? He didn’t pay much attention to what they were saying but he knew someone was coming.
  70.
  71. “Oh! Grizzly! What are you doing here?”
  72.
  73. The voice called him out?
  74.
  75. “Wh-!”
  76.
  77. Grizz looked down and woke up from his daydream. When he looked down, he saw, to his shock, Panda! Grizzly face turned from sheer depression to pure happiness! He was excited, one brother down, one more to go!
  78.
  79. “Panda!”
  80.
  81. He sprang up from his position and quickly hugged the other bear as tight as he could. He’d never lose sight of them again, not ev-
  82.
  83. “Waah, Grizzly-kun, why are you hugging me? Where’s your vest? I know I’m cute and all but you’re hugging me very tight”
  84.
  85. What was that? Vest? Cute? Grizz thought this through his head, this “Panda” may have looked somewhat like Panda but then, when he gave it much more thought, the voice was completely different. This “Panda’s” voice was more easy, lazy sounding even, and more… cute. Also, Panda doesn’t usually wear anything yet this panda was wearing a short sling bag that he’s never seen back at home.
  86.
  87. Grizz reached a conclusion that this was not his Panda. How embarrassing. He must’ve let desperation for his brothers take over him.
  88.
  89. “Ah! I’m sorry, I- I mistook you for someone else! Uh! ”
  90.
  91. This was embarrassing, he had the wrong Panda bear. Grizz knows that he can be a bit jumpy and excitable sometimes but even he has his limits.
  92.
  93. “Grizzly-kun?
  94.
  95. The other Panda bear was looking at Grizz closely, tilting his head and bringing his face forward to register himself.
  96.
  97. “Oh.. Ah, I see, you aren’t Grizzly-kun”
  98.
  99. The other Panda bear turned back and and returned to a normal standing posture. He seemed to have thought that Grizz was someone else too, he did say ‘Grizzly-kun” something Grizz has never heard someone call him.
  100.
  101. Grizz wondered who this other Grizzly bear was, back at home, there aren’t any other Grizzly bears he can clearly recall, so meeting another one of his kind would be a bit interesting.
  102.
  103. “Grizzly…”kun”?”
  104.
  105. —————————————————————————————————————-
  106. Ic. - Gri.
  107.
  108. This was not a good day for Ice Bear. He pressed the elevator button that made the machine go down. He tried looking for his brothers from higher ground but even then, no luck. He waited on the elevator as he was standing on the roofdeck of some building that looked like the tallest.
  109.
  110. Ice Bear may not have looked like it but he was destroyed. All day, he was looking for the two of them and each time he looked, nothing came up. Once the elevator arrived, he went in, pressed the ground floor button. He leaned against the elevator wall and held out a deep sigh.
  111.
  112. “…Ice bear misses you two”
  113.
  114. He murmured to himself, Voice distraught and disappointed that he came up empty.
  115.
  116. The elevator had arrived at the ground floor. He exited the machine and then left the building.
  117.
  118. The sky was turning a red purple already, this wasn’t good, all the more it would be hard to find them when it was night time. How was he going to do this. He stared at the sky and gave off a pissed of look.
  119.
  120. He rested for a while at a nearby convenience store and bought a small drink. He sat on one of the tables and rested his eyes for a while. He recollected all that had happened. All he could think of was to find his brothers and then take a nice long rest. He just wanted to find his brothers already. He opened the drink and gulped the liquid down his throat.
  121.
  122. “Hey did you hear? There’s this place for fierce and scary beasts nearby from here”
  123.
  124. “Really, we’re pretty fierce, let’s give it a shot!”
  125.
  126. “Yeah! Yeah!”
  127.
  128. Across the table Ice bear was sitting on was a weasel and a polecat.
  129.
  130. “I mean, we look pretty cool right?”
  131.
  132. “We do! We do!”
  133.
  134. “Man, I bet if we went in, all the animals would instantly know that we aren’t a force to mess with!”
  135.
  136. “They would! They would!”
  137.
  138. Interesting, “Fierce” huh… Ice Bear gave it a thought. He wondered what sort of place it was, was it a club? a bar? an open spot?
  139.
  140. “Wait, but what if they don’t have any bathrooms?
  141.
  142. “Why does that matter?”
  143.
  144. “Well, we’ll be drinking a lot”
  145.
  146. “I don’t know, ask the bartender when we get there just, let’s go!”
  147.
  148. “Right after we exit the tunnel nearby right?”
  149.
  150. “That’s what they say!”
  151.
  152. Bartender? Drinking? It’s a bar isn’t it. And now, he seems to know the location too,
  153.
  154. Ice Bear wondered, could his brothers be there? If what those two animals said were true, he knew that Grizzly Bear would probably do that considering his personality, and Panda would want to prove himself too.
  155.
  156. Ice Bear stood up from his seat and left the convenience store, even before the two animals who were talking about it had left too. They seemed to be too occupied talking about what they would do in the bar that they seemed to have already forgotten that they actually want to go there.
  157.
  158. Outside the store, Ice Bear looked around until he finally found the tunnel, it was close by and wasn’t really hard to find either.
  159.
  160. Ice bear walked through the ominous tunnel and approached the exit. He then saw the place that the small animals were most likely talking about.
  161.
  162. The place was brown in color, with foggy features being most notable in this other side of the tunnel. It had a mature vibe to it and admittedly, even intimidated the Polar Bear for a short second.
  163.
  164. Ice Bear gave a look at the door and noticed the sign nearby it.
  165.
  166. “The Grizzly Bar…”
  167.
  168. “Ice Bear is interested”
