Alexithymiaa: (The only downfall to the outfit being for his birthday is the fact that shes wearing the fucking necklace Zack picked out. But he doesnt even actually know that so its harmless lmao)

Alexithymiaa: -Steph had been arranging all of the food she'd made on every surface in the kitchen area, trays covering every inch of the counter and table. These foods included: A tray of french fries, a platter of buffalo wings, a tray of lasagna with that homemade italian red sauce, homemade sushi which is fucking hard to do because rice is sticky and annoying, rainbow cookies, iced cupcakes that were green to match the cake Kelsey made, funfetti cake that had 'happy birthday Felix' piped on the top, brownies, and a plate of freshly made cannolis.Kelsey's cake was a surprise in the fridge so that shits not out yet. She'd also rented a popcorn machine for continuous salty snacks, and stocked the fridge with soda which she never buys, and apple juice. She'd blown up a bunch of balloons as well as hung a hand made banner on the kitchen wall. A hand drawn birthday card was propped open on the counter and on one of the stools a flat gift wrapped in rainbow paper with a sealed card attached to it. Once everything was all set and she'd trapped all the animals in the office and the guest room so no one would steal food or bother them all night, she raced off to her room to sit in front of her vanity, applying pink lip gloss to her lips and a bit of cover up under her eyes to hide the dark circles that were getting worse by the day.-
Alexithymiaa: (I had to set the scene)

Covet: [So much food he's gonna be dead lol.]
Covet: Felix had pulled up to the house when Steph had told him to be there. Climbing out of his Jeep he walked up to the door and gave it a knock, since he wasn't allowed just walk in. He rocked back and fort on his feet as he waited, rubbing his side, which had been a little achey, but he was feeling pretty good and excited.
Alexithymiaa: -Hearing the knock on the front door, she capped her lip gloss and pushed up from the vanity, walking over to the front door to glance back at the set up before she pulled it open. Moving into the doorway to stop him from looking past her, she immediately brought her hand up to clasp over his eyes. "Close your eyes. Are they closed? Close them." She was giddy.-
Covet: Felix laughed and closed his eyes, "They're closed they're closed! I don't even get to have a good look at you first?" He gave a sniff, and scrunched up his face, "There's so many smells I can't figure it out..."
Alexithymiaa: "Not yet." She said with a laugh, lowering her hand from his face and taking his hands in hers, beginning to walk backwards so she could guide him through the house toward the kitchen, but not forgetting to shut the door behind him because that's important. Once she had him standing a few feet from the counter, she let go of his hands and took a step back to stand next to the counter, letting her arms fall to her sides. "Okay, you can open them."-
Covet: Felix walked along with her as she guided him in then stood there waiting until she said he could open them. He looked at her first, smiling, "You look gorgeous. Pink suits you." Then he looked around at everthing else spread out about the house, " Wow... Red. This...this is too much. There's no way I can actually eat all of this.. but I want to...He said walking over to the counter to where Steph was, leaning down to give her a kiss, while his finger went for the cake to swipe some of the frosting off of it for himself.
Alexithymiaa: -She smiled at him, glancing down at the dress she was wearing before looking back up to him, leaning into the kiss. "I know you like pink. But I never imagined you'd actually eat all of this. I just wanted you to be able to have whatever you wanted on your birthday and I definitely was not going to ask you." She moved her hands to his arms, watching him sample the frosting. "On any other day, I would yell at you. But it's your cake and if you want to just lick the frosting off the top, go nuts."-
Covet: Felix continued to hold her close. "Oh thank god, I'll make sure to sample a little bit of everything." He said licking his finger off, then got another finger full. "What else can I do with the frosting?" Felix gave her a devilish look, letting his eyes drop down her front.
Alexithymiaa: -She started to laugh, wagging her finger at him. "There will be time for frosting adventures later. I have more surprises for you, so you need to sit." She said, reaching over to grab the wrapped gift the stool and patting it for him. "Sit."-
Covet: Felix smirked and licked his finger off again watching her as she picked up a gift and patted the stool. He hopped up on the stool and went to reach for the gift, trying to get it out of her grasp, "I'm impatient, let me open it." He said with a grin, being a butthead mostly because he could get away with it.
Alexithymiaa: -She rolled her eyes before passing it over to him, being careful since it was so flat and bendy. The card was one of those generic flowery ones that are blank on the inside so she could write inside it herself, which she did. 'Dear Arizona, I could never give you all of the things you have given me in the short time we've been together. You are the light to my darkness, the ying to my yang, the peanut butter to my jelly, the Scarecrow to my Tinman. Your uplifting attitude is a warm welcome when everything else runs cold, and for that I could never express my gratitude. For the man I love on his birthday, I wish I could give you everything. Instead, you have to settle for me. With love, Red.' Inside the wrapped gift was fancy thick cardstock paper with his portrait neatly drawn and colored. Covet: He opened up the card and read it over, giving a smile as he went to open up the gift. "This is very sweet, all of this." He told her pulling her in for another kiss. "Thank you. For making today special, since last night. I think this is the first birthday I've felt like it's just for me. That's selfish. But whatever." He said with a shrug.
Alexithymiaa: -She smiled and stepped into him, looping her arms around his neck and looking into his face. "You're welcome. Your birthday is supposed to be the one time you get to be selfish and nothing else matters. It's supposed to belong to you and when you said you've always had to share your birthday celebrations with Seb, it was a little disheartening. I wanted you to have today all for you. Everything is all about you." She leaned in to kiss him again, sending him a smile. "Birthdays are important, and I wanted to celebrate you. And I'm not even done celebrating you yet."-
Covet: "I promise I don't intend to be so dramatic with how I explain things." Felix said as he listened to her. "Oh? What else do you have then hmm?" He asked her, "Can we get some of that sushi first though? It looks delicious." He asked her with a grin.
Alexithymiaa: "You're dramatic all the time, this was not going to be anything different than anything else." She spoke before pecking his cheek and tugging away. She grabbed the tray of sushi and pushed some things down on the island counter to make room, setting it down in front of him. "Smoked salmon, tuna, and cucumber rolls." She spoke a little proudly because this was probably the most difficult of all the things she made. "So have some of that while I get your next surprise." She turned to the fridge and pulled the door open, blocking his view with her body and pulling out the cactus cake which she'd already set candles in before putting it in the fridge because it was easier when it was room temperature. Opening the drawer, she pulled out a lighter, lighting each candle individually which really wasnt many because she refused to stick them in the sugar cacti on the top of the cake so they were scattered around them. Lifting the dish with the cake on it, she turned back toward him, walking slowly because don't drop it before starting to sing in a soft voice. "Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday dear Arizona. Happy birthday to you."-

Alexithymiaa: (I WAS THINKING ABOUT THAT LMFAO)
Covet: Felix picked up the chopsticks and took a sushi roll and popped it into his mouth. "Mmm These are fantastic. Where did you get them at?" He called out asking as she walked off assuming she could still hear him. He looked over at Steph as she started singing and bringing the cactus cake around. He couldn'g help but grin at his dream cake, surprised that she'd found a way to get him one. "You didn't...Steph. I was only partially kidding about the cactus cake, I was still going to love you even if you didn't get it for me." He said then went to blow out all the candles, having to do it in two breaths, because smoking and they were spread out.
Alexithymiaa: -She set the cake down next to the sushi, putting her hand on his knee. "I made the sushi, and Kelsey made the cake because I wanted it to at least look like cacti and that was well out of my baking limits. I know when to call in for reinforcements. But I wanted you to have the perfect birthday cake. But then I couldnt actually write happy birthday on this cake, so I made that other cake so I could write on it. The brownies were the joke about you loving me because you were getting the cake regardless."-
Covet: Felix cackled, " I guess I don't have much of a choice, but to love you. It would be rude after you went to all this effort." He said then stole one of the cacti off the cake. "Tell your cousin many thank yous. And prepare yourself for making more sushi in your life, because this is definitely comparable to what we can order."
Alexithymiaa: "I love you, but that sushi took me like two hours to make so I'm definitely not making more sushi for a while. This was a special occasion, and that was by far the hardest thing to make of everything I cooked. Now..." She paused, moving to take his hand so she could lace her fingers with his. "I think you need to make yourself more comfortable after a long day of birthdaying."-
Covet: Felix gave a pout as she told him it was hard to make. "Okay, well then I will savor this extra special sushi." He said getting another piece. He looked at Steph and looked down at his hand as she laced her fingers with his. "Only if you get comfortable with me." he said squeezingher hand.
Alexithymiaa: "I will bypass the fact that I actually am really comfortable in this dress and just say yes, I will get comfortable with you. Now you have strict instructions to go lay down. I have Penny in the guest room so you don't have to fight anyone for the bed." She moved behind him and pulled his over shirt off his shoulders, tugging it down his arms before spinning around and walking off into her bedroom so she could fold it and put it on the dresser to probably never give back.-
Covet: "Okay fine, I'd rather your pretty dress not get wrinkled." He said as she pulled his shirt off. "Strict instructions huh?" Felix wandered into the bedroom, kicked off his shoes and shimmying out of his pants, before climbing up onto the bed to lay down.
Alexithymiaa: "Strict instructions." She repeated before shaking her head. "Nope, over here." She grabbed one of the thousands of fucking pillows and set it down at the foot of the bed, giving it a pat. "Lay down on your stomach."-
Covet: Felix sat back up and furrowed his brow as moved a pillow and directed him where to lay. "Uh.. Okay... Should.. I be worried about what's coming next?" He asked not entirely sure what she was getting up to.
Alexithymiaa: "Only if you were lying about your ribs." She said with a small laugh because she knew at some point, he'd lied. She knows what that shit feels like. Stepping out of her shoes, she slipped the straps of her dress over her shoulders and let it slip down her body, folding it into a neat square to set down on top of the dresser and grabbing the tube of her vanilla lotion before climbing up onto the bed. She swung her leg over him and settled her weight onto his butt, squeezing some lotion into her hands before leaning over and rubbing her hands up his back.-
Covet: Felix watched her, swallowing. "No...." Felix said still lying about his ribs. He watched her undress then grab the lotion as she straddled his butt, then started to rub his back. "Oh... Oh this is nice." He said closing his eyes as she rubbed his back, just praying she didn't go near his ribs.
Alexithymiaa: -She ran her hands repeatedly over his skin, massaging her knuckles into his upper back and being extra careful when she moved down because ribs. "So has this birthday been everything you wanted it to be?"-
Covet: "Considering that I had no expectations, It was that and more." Felix said as he enjoyed the backrub giving pleasant groans as her hands worked them muscles. "You're probably the best girlfriend ever right now. I'll see if I can hunt you down a mug."
Alexithymiaa: "Probably?" She retorted, keeping her hands moving over his back. "I definitely deserve a mug. The oversized kind that are more for eating soup out of than drinking coffee. Although I've been drinking more coffee than usual lately so maybe I'd drink coffee out of an oversized mug. Either way, I deserve that mug." She spoke with a laugh.-
Covet: "Okay, I'll find you a big one." Felix said then gave a soft sigh, "You wouldn't need to be drinking so much coffee if you weren't busting your ass so much lately. What do I have to do to get you to slow down and sleep in with me one of these mornings? Make sure to wear you out well the night before?" He asked her then went to roll over squinting a bit as he took her with him, pulling her in for a kiss happily smelling like vanilla. He intended to make sure both he and Steph slept well tonight.
Alexithymiaa: "I slept in with you on Thanksgiving..." She mumbled before rolling over with him to do all the birthday sex part two, things.-
