Princess Amica was born in Canterlot, an earth pony daughter of a single washermare. From a young age, she was always willing to help out, even when nopony asked her too. This strategy for getting her through life, on the whole, has worked for her.

Her cutie mark materialized when she was eight, when a playground dispute threatened to come to blows, and Amica through herself into the midst of the fighting ponies, and proceeded to bit her tongue so badly the ponies involved immediately panicked, stopped fighting, and got her to an authority figure. She still considers it an illustrious beginning to a career in diplomacy. Of course, it wasn’t an easy path to tread, as her scores in school were a little bit dampened by her need to help pretty much every pony she met to the detriment of her own studies, and minor problems with dyscalculia.

Instead, she opted to join her mother in her cleaning service, and took to it with gusto. After a couple of years on the job, however, she was discovered by the stallion Salacious Styles who took an immediate interest in her and saw a vital spark that he capitalized on, helping her achieve a career in dance and modelling. She took the fashion world by storm, winning the Miss Equestria pageant and being noted for being the contestant who said her greatest dream was world peace “and then not shutting up about it, like oh my sun”.

Her greatest triumph was only yet to come, as her modelling exploits earned her the eye of the Griffon ambassador, who said that he found her youthful energy and keen mind a fitting match for her excellent physique, and the two quickly began a close friendship and a short-lived relationship. The two remain friends to this day, and he seems to have a taste for buying her illustrious presents and asking her advice on several subjects. Still, it was the beginning of her break into diplomacy, as she helped finally convince him to accept several deals to let Griffonstone join the Equus Confederacy, one of the last major states to join the group. To this day, it is unknown what technique she used that allowed her to sway his mind so effectively.

From there, she quickly became a public superstar. Princess Cadance took her under her wing as a personal protege, where she formed a fast and deep relationship with Princess Flurry Heart, the two stated to have a connection that seems to transcend normal friendship. As a fully fledged diplomat, she championed acceptance causes and helped sort out disputes between nations. But her greatest triumph was yet to come.

One final changeling hive remained and was the only nation that had not yet joined the Equus Confederacy, and they had refused any ambassadors or peace envoys as tricks. Amica, not willing to accept that as an answer, headed out completely alone, unarmed, and without any back-up, and went to the hive. The changelings say that her love alone was enough to sate them for three days, until she helped the hive release the love in their heart, a magnificent event that sent a surge of powerful emotion across Equestria. It was enough to help her ascend to her alicorn form, however, five years ago to this day.

Now that she has managed to help finalize world peace, she’s moved her focus to intergalactic pursuits, studying up on alien cultures, customs, and biology to help better facilitate xenological studies and relations. Still a new alicorn, she’s yet to reach her full stature or powers, but has a deep grasp of empathy and healing magics in particular, being a resolute pacifist and still maintains that constant desire to help others.
