BACKGROUND |
	Jihun’s parents never wanted kids, but his mother happened to be much too fertile for her own good and his father was a bit...Zeus-like, so they ended up with three of them. Who they never really liked. Or cared about. They just kinda fed them and bought them things and ignored them, most of the time. The kids learned to stay out of their way, for the most part, especially since when their dad wasn’t at work or their parents weren’t having sex, they were fighting. Loudly. With lots of breaking things. So, yeah, there was a lot of time for Jihun to hide in his room and listen to music, because he wasn’t about to risk getting accidentally hit with a vase while trying to sneak through the living room to go play outside. His older brother, Jiyeong, was always too busy with his schoolwork or building things to go play with Jihun (the five year age difference and fact that Jihun found him incredibly boring didn’t help, either), and his older sister, Jeonghui, was too busy messing around with her makeup or off with her friends or doing whatever she could to not come home to spend time with him, either.
	When Jihun was nine, his father had an affair. Okay, that wasn’t really anything new. It was common knowledge in their house that Byeongho was, well, a hoe, and basically had a bunch of women on the side (especially a lot of his flight attendants). This time was different, though, because Haneul had come home to Byeongho and one of his other women in the middle of…getting busy, and Byeongho, although having noticed Haneul, just told her he’d be “done in a minute” and asked her to wait in the living room. Yeah, Haneul wasn’t having any of that shit. She took the kids, deciding to stay go stay at her parents’ house until she could figure out what to do.
	Jihun, being nine and not really understanding the situation beyond the fact that he was almost finished with the tenth level of his game when his mother oh, so rudely pulled him away from his gaming console, decided today was a day he was going to make a big fuss about sitting in the front seat, because he rarely ever was able to. His mother, eye blinded by tears and just wanting to get out of there, ended up snapping at Jiyeong to get out of the front and let his brother sit there.
	It was a good thing she did, too. Switching seats saved Jihun’s life. When they were ten minutes from Jihun’s grandparents’ house and the drunk driver hit, he hit the driver’s side, where Haneul and Jiyeong were. Haneul died instantly and Jiyeong’s tibia was shattered, rendering him permanently lame, but, had it been Jihun sitting behind the driver’s seat, he was small enough that the impact would have killed him.
	He spent the next few years more on his own than he had been. His mom may not have cared very much, but she was a housewife and only a housewife, so at least she was home more often than not and would let him tag along whenever she went on errands. He no longer had that. By the time he was thirteen, he wasn’t getting home before 3am, spending all of his time at school (mostly hanging out on the roof with the other “questionable” kids), wandering the streets, or at underground rapping performances. He enjoyed them a lot, because they were always interesting, something the rest of his life never was. The rappers didn’t hold back, they just rapped and never worried about whatever anyone else thought or what else they should have been doing or what society was thinking. Jihun started doing a few of his own rapping performances when he was fifteen, but he never attempted any of the battles. He was also taught some basic self-defense and street fighting, because, I mean, when you’re out until the wee hours of the morning in a big city like Seoul, you’re bound to meet some interesting people.
	He enlisted in the military the day he turned eighteen. He was done with the life he had and the family who hated him, and he also knew that, the way he was then, there was no way he’d get anywhere or do anything with his life. He had also started drinking very heavily when he was sixteen, and used the army as a way to get sober.
	In the army, things just felt right. He made a family, one that would literally die for him, and there were a few times when they nearly did; he was doing a ton of exercising that was interesting and challenging, in the sense that it wasn’t just, “here, run on this treadmill,” but, “here, run across this field carrying this gun and armor, and go shoot that target”; and he had finally met people who truly earned his respect (the rappers did, too, but he never became close with them).
	As all new soldiers, he spent the first five weeks training (which he aced, and even impressed his superiors with how calmly he handed the gas chamber test, because that’s usually where everyone breaks), and then three months on the border between the two Koreas (which, if I’m not mistaken, is where most Korean soldiers go). But that was boring. Sure, the war stories from the older soldiers were interesting, but there really wasn’t anything to do or to fight.
	One of his generals, Choi Gyeong (respect, honor), noticed this, and invited Jihun to join him in his troop that was going to Afghanistan. Naturally, Jihun jumped at the idea of some real action. He spend a year and eight months until Operation Enduring Freedom came to an end (South Korea wasn’t involved in the following Operation). Jihun, Gyeong, and the rest of their troop were transferred to South Sudan to assist in the United Nations Peacekeeping mission there (UNMIS). After two years of being in South Sudan, most of his troop had left. Even Gyeong had gone home, after losing his leg in an unexpected retaliation from a group of rebels from North Sudan. He had been getting too old for military life, anyway.
	Being the last member of his original troop made military life get quite boring quite quickly. Things did that a lot, he had found, got boring. Being in the military had been the first time he wasn’t really bored and had let himself make connections and…be happy. It took having a actual family and people he cared about and who cared for him to make him, well, care. It all goes around, I guess.	Nonetheless, without any of his friends, he stopped caring, and left the military at age 22.
	Because the army wasn’t the highest paying job about there, Jihun ended up crashing on his older brother’s couch, which was…an experience, to say the least. Jiyeong didn’t give two shits about Jihun, but he knew he was family and still felt some kind of brotherly need to protect him.
	Jihun bounced from job to job, either getting laid off or choosing a job that only lasted a few weeks. It was kinda hard to get a job after having been in the military for four years and now having gone to college. He didn’t have many marketable skills (sadly, drinking and shooting darts weren’t marketable skills).
	A month into being home, he started having an affair with his brother’s fiancee, Hayun, because how else would you give back to the man who let you into your home and feeds you? “Hi, thanks for letting me crash, now I’m gonna go bang your wife. Have fun at work!” Yeah, that didn’t fly. Jiyeong had begun to suspect there was something going on between the two, and set up cameras in the house, so he could catch them in the act. When he did, he kicked the two of them out.
	Hayun and Jihun struggled for a few months, what with him being unable to hold a job and her being quite content being a youtube beauty blogger (her account was called @notanafro, because her hair was really curly and she didn’t always straighten it. Also, afro, aphro-dite. Yeah, there’s that, too, but shhh). Eventually Jihun was able to land a job teaching self-defense at a studio that had instructors for both a variety of dancing and fighting (the girl who owned it was this really badass chick who had a love for both dancing and fighting, and no one ever questioned the combination because she could kick their asses without breaking a sweat or out of step).
	It was a good thing, too, because, five months have living on their own, Hayun got pregnant. The idea of having a baby was one of the most exciting things ever for Jihun. Sure, he was nervous and all, because they were barely stable financially and were both really young and he had a lot of bad habits to break/personality shit to work on, but, come on, it was a BABY. How exciting was that? He knew he’d be a great father and he really wanted to be one, too, but, two months into the pregnancy, Hayun lost the baby. They didn’t know why she had a miscarriage (Jihun was in too much shock to comprehend the big doctor words), just that it happened and that whatever had happened had made it so she would have a lot of trouble getting pregnant again. Their relationship fell apart after that. It wasn’t that there was blame or anything, just that something that devastating wasn’t something they could both come back from. When they looked at each other, all they saw was the loss of a child.
	Jihun spent three months on his own. Hayun had moved back in with her parents, so Jihun was stuck alone at the apartment the two of them combined had barely been able to pay for. He struggled to scrape by each month and missed quite a number of meals, but somehow made it work.
	Having really nothing else to do, he would sit in on lessons from some of the other instructors. He learned a lot about other fighting styles (including boxing and taekwondo) and a few dance styles. That was also how he fell in love with dancing and remembered his love of rapping.
	The rent got harder to pay as time went on and he realized that there was only so little food you could eat everyday while also maintaining an intense exercise regime. It was after his second week of sleeping in the studio that he decided to go see General Gyeong, for a bit of a pick-me-up and wise advice, if nothing else.
	After Jihun’s first real meal in a long time and a few hours of talking, General Gyeong basically summed up everything for him and told him what to do in that way only the cliche old guy in any story ever can do (“Well, you love dancing and rapping, certainly aren’t afraid of a little hard work, and need a roof over your head (and my wife would kill me if I let you stay here, because the last soldier who stayed over stole all of her jewelry), so go try out for an entertainment company.”). Jihun decided just to say, “fuck it,” and went for it.

PERSONALITY |

1 | ❝ I’LL MOOD-SWING A BAT INTO YOUR SKULL ❞ — Jihun can be quite temperamental, but it’s not like he goes from ecstatic to sobbing to screaming in seconds. It’s more like he can be silent for three hours, then someone will say something in a weird tone a voice or they’ll accidentally run into him, and he’ll suddenly turn into an asshole or he’ll get so touchy that, if someone so much as stands a little bit too close to it, he’ll go off at them. His best mood is usually when he’s joking and laughing and competing (even if it’s at the boys’ expense); his safest mood is probably being silent, because then no one is at risk of getting insulted; his most dangerous mood is probably when he’s being really touchy and is near sharp objects… This is something that can scare some of the other boys, because they never know when he’ll let them steal fries off of his plate and when he’ll dangle them off of the roof until they apologize for breathing too close to him. He’s still not used to being human. His god form could handle all of the anger and bloodlust. Those negative emotions fueled his strength, they fueled his powers. Human bodies are so...fragile. His powers are weaker, but the emotions aren’t. They don’t really have anywhere to go, anymore, so there are times when he just snaps and all of those emotions just spill out, at the risk of anyone in the splash zone. It frustrates him, at times. Not being able to control his emotions, but he doesn’t really know what else to do, so he just lets it all happen.  More often than not, he’ll just have a resting bitch face on, and let his short temper, sharp tongue, and intimidating presence speak for him.

2 | ❝ I PUT THE LAUGHTER IN SLAUGHTER ❞ — No one really knows what to expect or how to react when Jihun makes a joke. His delivery is dry and deadpan, meaning he doesn’t smile, doesn’t laugh, doesn’t make a silly face, only saying it, and sometimes looking at the subject of the joke pointedly. Maybe, if he’s feeling up to it, he’ll give a toothy cat-with-a-mouse grin for a quick second after a moment of silence. This behavior can be quite confusing, because it’s exactly the same as when he threatens someone (and often is just as intimidating or frightening). People usually have to take a moment before deciding if it’s safe to laugh or not. His jokes are usually sarcastic, sharp, and biting, while his humor is either at others’ expense or just plain dark and warped. He likes to laugh at things many people are afraid of or offended by, like death, illness, or tragedy.

3 | ❝ IF THE TRUTH HURTS TOO MUCH, I’M SURE DIAN CECHT HAS BANDAIDS ❞ — Jihun is incredibly straightforward and blunt. He doesn’t like to hold back when it comes to his opinion. He’s not a diplomat, he’s a warmonger, making people feel better isn’t his first concern. Along with being a general, Jihun doesn’t like being lied to or having the truth hidden from him, because, in war and when his enemies do it, people die and he is more likely to lose. It’s within one’s own side that there are no secrets and that they tell the whole truth. In other words, him being opinionated and blunt and “telling it like he sees it” is actually how he shows that he cares for someone enough to not want them at the disadvantage or that he doesn’t feel he needs to have the advantage. It’s because of this that he doesn’t really understand why people sometimes want him to apologize. His saying they “look like a fool doing that” or “look dumb in that hat” or “aren’t doing that right” is his way of trying to help them. He just kind of offers them a shrug and insincere “whoops” or “sorry” or “whatever,” instead of a real apology.
4 | ❝ IF I SAY “BACK OFF,” YOU SAY NOTHING BECAUSE YOU NEED TO LEAVE ❞ — Jihun can get overwhelmed pretty easily, with some things. It kind of goes with him being moody. Sometimes he just reaches his limit of being around people and being an idol, and just needs time to himself. Even worse, sometimes the other boys have been having a lot of fun and showing a lot of love and affection, but Jihun feels…not left out, per se, because they definitely give him more chances than most people would, but he feels like he’s an outsider. He’s never really been accepted anywhere, he’s never known people who actually love him for him. He doesn’t know how to do any of that or how to respond to it going on around him. It just leaves him confused and he hates that feeling. Life should be easy. You’re on one side and the enemy is on the other, with the only goal being victory. He needs him alone time, otherwise he’ll probably end up snapping from all of the stress and confusion and frustration, and he’ll end up ruining something he can’t fix, whether that’s crossing a line he really shouldn’t cross or hurting someone he cares about.

5 | ❝ YOU CALL THAT A COMMAND? MY WAR DOGS HAVE MORE AUTHORITY THAN   YOU ❞ — ever since his time as a soldier, he’s never really respected authority. No one seems to be earn his respect enough as an authority to make him obedient or seem reasonable enough to be his superior, not after he’s been under the command of generals. And when he was a god, he was usually the authority, so he always compares the other person to himself, and he’s certainly not afraid to send a disobeyer down to the underworld for a little bit to straighten them out.

6 | ❝ I WANT YOU TO FEAR ME AND FEED ME GRAPES, HOW IS THAT NOT CLEAR? ❞ — Jihun spent his godly life jumping around from war to war to war, so it’s kind of difficult for him to get himself out of that mindset, as that’s really all he’s ever known. It makes him immensely protective of those around him, willing to do anything to keep them safe. He’s gotten glimpses of what it’s like to have a family and people who care for him (it’s a little bit difficult to be fighting alongside someone, giving them the responsibility of watching your back, and no trust them), but it never lasts. People die (in war or because they were mortals and he wasn’t), they go home to their own families, they get so messed up that it’s no longer healthy for them to be around anything reminding them of what they did in war. Another issue with those families was that they were situational or conditional. They would never think of becoming friends if it hadn’t been for the war. He’s never had someone who would like him if they met each other randomly on the street or in a coffee shop. People fear him, and he used to love that feeling of power so much (okay, he still kinda does. He’s got a bit of a power kink, tbh (which also explains why a lot of his jokes are at the expense of others)), but people who fear him don’t make good friends, they don’t make true friends. Being in Unity and seeing how well the others get along just makes him crave to be apart of a family—apart of that family—even more. But he doesn’t know how to do that, so he just retreats deeper into himself, keeps up his image as the One Who Doesn’t Care and Hates Everyone.

7 | ❝ JUST LET ME FEED YOU THE DAMN GRAPES! I SWEAR THEY’RE NOT POISONED THIS TIME ❞ — he’s such a romantic, to be honest. When he was dating Hayun, that girl was as spoiled as their budget and schedule would allow. He’s not just like the “I’ll buy you a fancy necklace,” romantic, either. He’s the “I’ll make you soup and put vaporub on your chest when you’re sick” and the “let’s just lay here looking at the stars and thinking about how happy we are” type. Pride and image matters to him because it takes a strong and respectable person to lead an army, but all of that goes away when it comes to someone he loves. He cares for people, truly and utterly cares, when he knows they care for him.

8 | ❝ AWW, YOU’RE SO CUTE AND LITTLE. I JUST KNOW YOU’LL GROW UP TO BE THE DESTROYER OF MILLIONS ❞ — okay, so Jihun is really bloodthirsty and is the god of war and loves to fight and kill…but he’s got a soft spot for children and animals. They’re just so adorable and represent unconditional love and he loves that. His war dogs double as lap dogs; his tigers will purr really loudly and lay their heads on his knee; his elephants will let kids swing off their trunks; his vultures love bird baths; his boars make these really cute little squeals and love to be chased around the throne room; and—you get the point. He’s a soft boy for cute things (which is part of the reason he would make such a great father).But if his child’s first words aren’t “execute him,” then Jihun’s gonna start questioning what he did wrong.

		° as a god: he’s able to immediately know how a weapon works (and sometimes even the history of it, both the weapon itself and those like it), he’s naturally better than a novice the first few times he uses it and he’s able to pick up the skill much more quickly, he can conjure weapons out of nothing, transform them into a different weapon, curse weapons, and summon weapons/disarm someone
		° as a mortal: he still has the knowledge of weapons (although, because his human brain isn’t capable of holding all of the knowledge he had as a god, he gets headaches and sometimes fevers from trying to recall the history, with the history of the specific weapon much more difficult to recall), he can pick up their skill quicker than most humans, he knows a few (watered down) cures, and can summon weapons, but only small ones and it takes a lot of concentration

He could be an asshole with these powers, honestly, making lovers break up just to get a good soldier out of his love-blindness or turning brothers against brothers because he was bored
		° as a mortal: he can’t manipulate the emotions of anyone who is truly mentally stable, and the less stable they are, the more impact his control has. In his god form, it was very easy for him to immediately soothe anyone’s battle jitters (it was actually easier for him to do, than manipulate the negative emotions), but, as a mortal, he’s less able to control the negative emotions than he is the calm ones. That makes it so he sometimes unintentionally presses negative emotions on someone because, again, he’s kind of overflowing with them
		° 7/10: he can’t change people’s moods, not directly, but he can plant the emotion in their mind and it’s their choice to feed it and act upon it or not. Whenever he gets worked up, anyone he’s talking to or who the feelings are directed toward (if they’re in the room) or, if he’s able to catch himself doing it, whoever he focuses on, will suddenly get very strong feelings of rage or hate or bloodlust. Even if he’s incredibly happy, he still runs to risk of losing himself so much into that happiness that he forgets to control his own emotions and powers, and suddenly whoever he’s happy with is blind with the desire to kill Jihun

		° as a god: he’s nearly invincible in a fight, unless it’s against an older and stronger god (but, even then, he has some pretty good odds)
		° as a mortal: he can run circles around everyone in the gym, but it’s nothing too major. No lifting cars off babies unless it’s with an elaborate pulley system or a crane or something. He can also explain a lot of this with his experience in the military
		° 6/10: he’s strong, fast, etc. etc.

		° as a god: he has slight control over animals, especially his symbol animals (vultures, boars, and dogs), or those used and trained for war
		° as a mortal: he can’t be like “hey, you, go there,” and have them do it, anymore. The most he can do is know how to calm them down or get them to trust him
		° 2/10: he doesn’t have control over animals at all, but he has higher than average instincts on how to act around them. He can slightly push some emotions onto them, but it doesn’t work most of the time and it’s not always enough to change their behavior

		° as a god: he can make his voice loud enough to be heard by thousands of troops without straining his voice or shouting (basically it’s him talking normally, but louder)
		° as a mortal: uhh, he can yell pretty loudly. In all seriousness, he does still have this power, but it’s more like being heard in a high school gym with all of the students and without a mic, so, still a feat, just not too remarkable
		° 3/10: he doesn’t get too loud, and it hurts his throat afterward. Although, he has been known to use just a little bit of this to make his voice seem fuller while performing live, so he doesn’t have to have a backing track

		° as a god: just by looking at someone, he could tell what type of soldier they would be, where their strengths and weaknesses are, how many people they had killed and how they felt about it, etc.
		° as a mortal: he has a good sense of judgement while meeting someone for the first time, I guess? He’s pretty good at reading people, but it’s not like, “I KNOW YOU’RE ENTIRE LIFE STORY, PAST AND FUTURE” anymore
		° 2/10: he can pretty much only be like “I like you” or “stay the hell away from me” and is accurate most of the time (also, it’s like a legitimate “you’re a danger to me” when I say “stay the hell away,” not like “you’re annoying, go away,” although he can do that, too)

LIKES |
	° animals > omg his friend Hyunjoo had the cutest freaking bomb dog, her name was Bora and she loved belly rubs and would always fall asleep on Jihun’s lap and it was the most adorable thing ever because she’d—uhh, Bora was deadly and, uhh, so are other animals, which is what makes them cool, especially, like, uhh, sharks and lions and cobras and…stuff
	° candles > he’s not a pyromaniac or anything, but he really likes the way lit candles look and sometimes they smell good, which is always nice, but he’d never say that, no, never, he’s just in it for the fire
	° red and gold > blood and victory, what could be better? Although these are his favorite colors, he prefers wearing navy and black, because they’re less bright

	° the fact he has to hide his tattoos on television > they’re apart of who he is, he doesn’t enjoy having to cover them and especially hates the feeling of electrical tape around his bicep whenever they put him in a sleeveless shirt
	° people with high voices > they grate on his ears and are just annoying and he hates them
	° the beach > sand gets everywhere, which is annoying and weighs you down more, also it’s difficult to run, so it’s a tactical nightmare, especially when combined with the fact that there’s really no way to sneak up on someone on the beach because it’s all so open ; basically, it freaks him out because it would be really difficult to have a wartime advantage on

	° rarely using honorifics > it’s literally in the word: “honor.” To him, not many people have that nowadays, and they certainly don’t have it just because they’re older than him (especially considering he’s a goddamn god) ; he only ever uses honorifics with people who he’s actually come to respect, but he’ll also use them sarcastically

	° drinking > it’s relaxing to him ; he loves the bite it has to it (it’s not boring ass water or milk) ; he makes sure not to drink too much, though, because he remembers how much of a dependency he had on it when he was a teenager, and that wasn’t healthy for him ; it’s a social thing every time he gets together with his war buddies ; it was also a coping mechanism for him, both when he was a teenager, after the military, and after Hayun lost the baby, because he just needed to feel SOMETHING ; he drinks at least once a day, even if it’s just a glass. 	° he’s very competitive and isn’t above cheating if that’s what it takes to win > the god of war likes winning, what a surprise ; honor is important to him, yes, but cheating can be honorable, if you’re clever enough and it makes it so you can win

HOW THEY ACT ON STAGE/ON CAMERA | He’s a little shit ™. He looks good, he knows it, and he doesn’t mind flaunting it. He’s never been shy about sex or attraction or anything, and being on stage doesn’t change that in the slightest. Also, the screams of adoration in response to a wink or a lip bite or a body roll only feed his power kink.

HOW THEY ACT OFF STAGE/ON CAMERA | He rarely contributes productively to any serious conversations, unless it’s about his rapping or his dancing (as in they need a demonstration or something). More often than not, he tunes the others out, but still manages to never miss a chance to get in a scathing or dark joke (it kinda scared some of the boys, at first. They had all forgotten about him or thought he fell asleep or stopped listening, but, suddenly, “The basil Balder grows on the windowsill contributes more to cooking than you do” or something similar. When they’re in a competition or challenge, he’s all in, strategizing, giving his all, motivating the others (sometimes scaring them into being motivated, but whatever works, I guess), cheating, if he has to. Other than that, he just kinda sits back and interjects his opinions (occasionally going on a full blown rant, which surprises some because they thought his tongue would fall off or he’d run out of air if he said more than six sentences strung together) or jokes whenever he can.

HOW THEY ACT OFF CAMERA/IN FRONT OF FANS | he tries to keep up his uncaring bad boy image, because he knows a lot of fans find that really cool. He lets the boys get touchy or make him do pictures with them a lot more than he does when on camera/off stage. He’s not too good with fan meets, because he doesn’t really know how to talk to the fans very well.

HOW MUCH DO THEY KNOW ABOUT THE TREATY OF THE GODS? | he knows all about it (aside from the stuff they kept only within the elder council, because I’m assuming he’s not on that) because, well, treaties end wars and he’s the god of war, so he’d obviously know what ended this one / the conflict that required the Treaty of Unity. Although, he’s always thought just having a tapestry was dumb, and he never thought the High Council and Elder gods to be dumb (okay, maybe his father every once in a while, but still), so he has always thought the terms of the treaty to be a bit suspicious.

HOW DO THEY FEEL ABOUT BEING CHOSEN AS REPRESENTATIVES FOR THIS SO-CALLED COUNCIL? | mostly, he’s pissed. He doesn’t want to take the time out of his life for this. But, in actuality, he’s never really been loved by the other gods or by man—even Aphrodite is with him because she hates her husband and Ares is just a good fuck—and he’s always hated that. He wants people he can call his family, and he’s hoping these guys will be it. Okay, he WAS hoping that, but then he actually met them and he’s beginning to get skeptical...

AS A MORTAL, IF HE COULD BE ANYTHING OTHER THAN AN IDOL, WHAT WOULD HE BE? | he’d probably become a general in the military, because, I mean, wartime is when and where he’s happiest. Other than that, he wouldn’t mind going back to being a combat instructor. He’d volunteer at day care centers and animal shelters whenever he had off-time.

IF THEY COULD CHANGE ANYTHING ABOUT THEMSELVES, WHAT WOULD THEY CHANGE? | He’d do something (he doesn’t know what) to make himself more likeable. He’s always been very lonely, and it might be because he’s had to have this image of being the “tough guy” and the leader or the general. He’s always had to have people’s respect, not their companionship. He also regrets not caring as much for his children as he could have. Yes, he’s a god and many of them were only demigods, but, still. He wishes he hadn’t been so blinded by the desire just to go back to fighting. The demigods grew up resenting him for not being around and the gods grew up to just not care about him, and he hates that because they’re his family, and family should always care.

HOW DO THEY FEEL ABOUT THE ELDERS AND THE HIGH COUNCIL? | He’s kind of apathetic towards them. As long as they stay out of his shit and don’t try to stop him from doing what he wants, he doesn’t really care about them or what they do. He does understand the usefulness of having the High Council, though.

WHAT IS THEIR OPINION ON THE TREATY IN GENERAL? | it’s dumb. It means there’s no war, and he kinda likes war. He’s most powerful during war, and peace is always much more boring, in his opinion.

	° a challenge or something where Jihun and the son of Horus are the team captains and Jihun’s got son of Eros on his side and someone uses Set as a distraction while the son of Loki steals something for them (and they would have gotten away with it, too, if the son of Loki had been able to control himself and hadn’t also snuck the other guy’s watch)
	° the boys doing some variety show or something that involved them dealing with children ; at the beginning, Jihun would just be turning his nose up at them, and trying to stay out of the mix for as long as possible, so the camera and others would get bored with him. They come back after a lunch break to find him sitting cross legged on the floor, all of the kids around him, as he reads them a story. Some are sitting and listening insentensly, others are falling asleep in his lap/against his back/shoulders, and there are a couple who are putting makeup on him and it’s just adorable and no one expects it. When he notices them there (he finishes the reading the page he’s on, then looks up as he turns to the next page), there’s just a moment where he looks, sees them, sighs, and keeps going.
