  1. There were many things to describe being around Ritsuka Fujimaru; fun, interesting, wonderful.
  2.  
  3. But for a certain group of people, it would be....
  4.  
  5. Painful.
  6.  
  7. For Mashu Kyrielight, the Demi-servant of Chaldea, she knows this feeling better than anyone.
  8.  
  9. To her Ritsuka Fujimaru is her everything, the reason she fights, the reason she smiles, the reason she breathes.
  10.  
  11. She is in love, Mashu Kyrielight is in love.
  12.  
  13. And yet, to her it feels like it isn't meant to be.
  14.  
  15. Again and again, from singularity to singularity it seemed like her Senpai became further and further from her reach.

  17. Every breathtaking moment, every harrowing battle, every second she stayed by Ritsuka Fujimaru's side.
  18.  
  19. Ritsuka Fujimaru seemed to become more and more perfect, and more and more out of her reach.

  21. Kind, Empathetic, Funny, Wonderful, she couldn't believe someone like her Senpai existed.

  23. And so she fell in love.

  25. And who could blame her?

  27. Nothing could compare to that wonderful feeling, seeing the smile on their face, the fire in their heart, they determination in thier eyes.

  29. Mashu Kyrielight never stood a chance.

  33. And that is why, she knows.
  34.  
  35. She knows that she could never be good enough, that Senpai deserved better than her.

  37. She was only Mashu Kyrielight, she was still that scared little girl holding onto the hand of her Senpai as the world around her burned in ruin and as the light left her eyes.

  39. Why would someone like Ritsuka Fujimaru love someone like her?

  45. It hurt, it hurt to think about.

  47. It hurt that she wasn't good enough, it hurt that she wasn't great enough to be with Ritsuka Fujimaru.

  49. It hurt like vines and thorns.

  51. It hurt like petals and flowers.

  53. It hurt like fire

  55. It hurt like love.

  57. And it hurt Mashu Kyrielight that she was in love.

  65. Worry in their eyes, they reach out in concern for Mashu Kyrielight who merely smiles at Ritsuka Fujimaru, assuring them nothing is wrong.

  67. All the while, swallowing the petals in their mouth.
