- Hmm... How long have you been in this army?
- Shermie:
- I've been here since the start of the war, actually!
- Durga:
- I see. I never noticed you before. Perhaps you are just now becoming worth my time... You look like you appreciate a good fight. So what say you and I get down and dirty?
- Shermie:
- Right now? I don't think that is very smart...
- Durga:
- Who is going to stop us? We'll just kill them if they get in the way. And if they don't go down so easily, well, the more the merrier!
- Shermie:
- I think I'll have to say no, I'm sorry... I do love a good battle, but this isn't the best time for it...
- Durga:
- Bah, I suppose you're right. Bored... I guess I'll have a taste of the enemies over there!
- *she vanishes*
- Shermie:
- This girl likes fighting even more than me! It's so hard to believe she is our ally now...

- ...
- Shermie:
- Miss Durga!
- Durga:
- ... Shermie! You can't wait any longer, can you? Shall we duel?
- Shermie:
- Oh, no. Not yet. I was actually wondering what you were doing there. I never see you sitting down relaxing... What is that you've got there?
- Durga:
- This? A necklace from my homeland. It's a land across the sea to the north-west.
- Shermie:
- Wow, so you're not from here at all?
- Durga:
- It's quite the place. When I was born, war was being waged from coast to coast. I've been fighting in battles since I was a little girl. But eventually, the war ended, and people like me, who knew nothing but war, scattered. That's how I ended up here. Luckily for me, I jumped right into another conflict.
- Shermie:
- Hmm, do you miss your homeland, though?
- Durga:
- It was getting boring when I left, I can't say I don't think of home sometimes... This necklace reminds me of it sometimes. If I get bored, maybe I'll go back. ... I'm going to fight you before that happens, though.
- Shermie:
- Hoo...
- ///A
- Shermie:
- So... do you have a family, Durga?
- Durga:
- None that are living. Mom and Dad were warriors just like me though. They eventually fell during all the battles back home. I don't have any siblings. It's a miracle I was even born, given how much they fought.
- Shermie:
- My dad was a mercenary too. I never knew my mom because she died giving birth to me and my sister. It's weird how similar we are to each other...
- Durga:
- Speaking of, I think it is getting close to our time. This war isn't going to last much longer... I'm REALLY looking forward to facing you.
- Shermie:
- Knowing you, you'd want it to be a fight to the death...
- Durga:
- Of course!
- Shermie:
- Does it really need to be like that? I don't want to kill you, Durga. I actually like you!
- Durga:
- Denying me satisfaction, huh? We're more different than you think...
- Shermie:
- ...
- Durga:
- ... Fine. It doesn't have to be the death. Maybe until one of us passes out instead. The loser... buys a meal for the both of us.
- Shermie:
- Wow, really? That sounds much better!
- Durga:
- We still have a long way to go. For one of us to die so soon wouldn't be right. Besides, if you live long enough, one day, you may see the pleasure of a duel to the death...
- Shermie:
- Mmm... Well, until then...
