As Sheik returned to his quarters, he breathed a sigh a relief. He had seemingly completed another mission for the dark wizard Ganondorf, but unbeknownst to Ganondorf, Sheik had helped the displaced rebels escape capture rather than killing them. As a double agent working on the inside, Sheik had to tread carefully to avoid being discovered.

Having travelled far and through intense conditions, Sheik had done his best to stay hydrated, but had gone without a moment's rest for some time. As he made his way to the back of his quarters, he opened the door to the lavatory.

Ah, finally! he thought.

Loosening the straps of his armor and pulling open a special flap in his stealth suit, Sheik sat down to enjoy a rare, if fleeting, moment of peace. Downtime was rare in Ganandorf's Hyrule, so even moments such as this were appreciated. But as he sat and releived himself, Sheik's mind wandered.

"Strange... so strange. Every time I take a moment to use the restroom, I can't help be feel as though something is not quite right, though I can never quite figure out what. I'm not doing something incorrectly, am I? No, of course not. I am no child, I know how use these facilities."

Sheik shifted a bit as sound of trickling water began to slow.

"I'm sure it's just unease, that's all. Survival is difficult in this world, and I am a warrior. I'm simply ill at ease in moments where my guard is down."

"...That must be it."

As Sheik continued to reassure himself, he finished his moment alone and begane to once again fasten his suit and armor. But as he did so, for just a moment he stopped. He felt a twinge of confusion, as if he had misplaced something but could not remember what. He looked down at himself, a haze in his mind, as he tried to find something out of place that he could not somehow see. Was something missing from his uniform? Did he forget to tie his wrappings? No, everything he was wearing was still there. So what was it?

Slowly, curiously, Sheik ran his hand along his body, searching for anything out of place. Gently, with just the tips of his fingers, he searched himself. Suddenly he felt a jolt of lightning, as he felt his face flush red. A small gasp escaped his lips, as he suddenly felt a wave of bashfulness overcome him. His mind was flooded with confusion, unaware of the magical wall in his memory preventing him from understanding what he had just felt.

Sheik hurried to finish fastening his suit as he sheepishly exited the lavatory. Alone in his quarters, he sat down at a wooden table and began diligently crafting and sharpening his tools and weapons for the next mission. It was all he could do to distract himself. But under the wrappings of his mask, Sheik could still feel his cheeks burning bright red.
