Ferrum Mare Session 2 Rundown

The Pillars is the "Europe" of the mod, and I'm situated in the south-west of it, along with 4 other roughly similarly-sized powerful nations. The 5 of us surround an inner region of puppets - Ferrum Mare has fascinating unique mechanics about competing for these puppets and eventually annexing them and assimilating the pops. In session 1 while attempting to intervene against an overseas rival, The Forsean Crown to my north joined against me. I won the war because another Western Pillars power, Neodore, helped me against a common enemy. I annexed a big state including some accepted pops, greatly increasing my power and position. The other 2 powers, Herradem and Palpedia, are loosely following a "peace in Western Pillars" policy of not fighting their neighbours. Will it last?

The nation I intervened against, Trocia, is in the Eastersn Pillars. Bigger on the map but less densely populated, this is another region of powerful nations fighting each other. As we go into session 2, Bigweevil and Expert Marxman on two of these countries, "Redrogard" and "Devogard", are killing CE and Onions on Esperos and Haatos. I'm pleased that Haatos is dying, because they are a colonial rival in Desporos, the "Asia" of the mod, to the east, where the biggest country Peragard is holding off a coalition of smaller countries who are desperately begging for spheres and money.

Lastly, to the south of the map, the "American" continents of mostly republics and immigrant nations. I start with holdings here and there are unique mechanics to sap life rating based on how much land I own, but I didn't quite understand this or make it priority. I'm building up two allied spherelings out here: Hamero and "Mighty Esdorea" which was a map formation.

The only nation to die in session 1 was "Zeek", a far eastern country that was simply in a 1v1 scenario against Layonnel.
