Let me just vent this thing i had in my chest for a while...

The shittier this site (twitter) becomes, the more people i see fall for this trap here.

Somehow, idk when exactly, people forgot one the most dangerous techniques terfs were using to get people to echo their agenda.

"Dog Whistle"

The concept is named after ultrasonic dog whistles, which are audible to dogs but not humans. Dog whistles use language that appears normal to the majority but communicates specific things to intended audiences. Transphobes: transgenders HARM the community!!!! They should make their own space!! Stop INVADING ours!!
Self proclaimed protector of lesbians: transmen HARM the community!!!! They should make their own space!! Stop INVADING ours!!

Transphobes: these transgenders give us a bad name!! The cishets use how transgenders live their authentic lives to create a harmful stereotype towards us!
Those people: these transmen give us a bad name!! The phobes use how transmen live their authentic lives to create a harmful stereotype about lesbians!

Even just thinking about example II here; in your pursuit of freeing yourself from how phobes treat lesbians you treat transmen with the same level of hostility that they treat you?! That you blame transmen lesbians for the hate that you're experiencing just because they're men?

When did we all start to be incapable of seeing nuance on the lived experience... on the intersection of gender and sexuality?! That the white people's idea that there should be a fine line in recognizing when they should stop and begin is a universal experience and a rule that all cultures must follow?! By echoing what the terfs say, you didn't even realize that there are literal cultures that does see lesbian as a gender, sexuality, and BOTH at the same time.

It is here in the Philippines; and I'm tired of being told that the reason we live this way for DECADES maybe more is because my people are ignorant. What stage of racist microaggression are we in right now for me to be told that firsthand?! That's not even micro anymore! The way we evolve the language (that was forcefully inserted in our curriculum by our colonizers), was of course making it our own and meshing it in our culture.

Everyday in your life (if you go out), you'll meet transmen lesbians just minding their businesses. Whether they contribute to society or not, they're just people. They harmed NO ONE by just being alive. They exist.

Don't you miss it when being a trans ally DOES NOT stop with just saying "transwomen are women" and "transmen are men?" That it's also about calling out those who say that trans people are harmful to the collective and that they invade a space that they contributed to?!
That SAYING those kinds of things promote harrassment no matter how many "pls do not harrass them" you place in your post.
That also actively reminding everyone how harmful kicking out trans people in the community THAT THEY HELPED CREATE is one of the most important ways to show your support to the trans community.

You are so in your head about being called "unproblematic" that you end up being racist too.

Terf dog whistles make you forget the intersection of culture, gender, and sexuality... PLEASE DO NOT LET THEM. DO NOT BE ONE OF THEM.

I made this post because I want people to remember what being an ally means since I know how easy these kinds of sites lead you to hatred and harrassment.
