For people that don't know what Ouya is,its the first Androind console to be released soonish in the market for 99 dollars.

Being preorder itself,there is a funnily easy way to actually get the first line that has been given out now to android developers to test it out..

1)Go on to Ouya webpage to learn more about them and the console itself http://www.ouya.tv/

2)Get in contact with them and state that you are in development of a game for android,and as development in approaching to the end of the project,you would like to see how the console responds on teh game itself or whatever SMART you can think off

3)They will get back to you saying that now its too late as the ''Alpha'' Line has been sent out so just wait to preorder like everyone else

4)Be smart here and come up with a good reply.like why miss out on an opportunity like this on a game tittle that make the console popular.(Try and be a little business man here.Android is a platform that has never had support for TV,so use it in your advantage)

5)They will ask you for some kind of a proof or pic related stuff.Answer you are under a heavy nda and can not do much

6)It will take some back and forth.(Took me in total of 6 emails on why I deserved to have the alpha line so i test the console)

7)Process at least for me took 2 weeks.


On the other hand you can just wait for the console to get out which will have some better gfx engine and start the boxing/biohazard or whatever you want chaos.....


Personal opinion : Console is fun,can't see it being used broadly.It will be a console mainly for kids..If development gets heavy,I can see it getting a small portion of gamers but the way things are right now,it feels exactly the way nintendo operates.WIth a different price scale and a much smaller audience..
